Well, after the battery was installed I was getting an error message, NOT a check engine light (new cars and their computers - ugh!). So, I searched all night what this could mean. The new battery was causing the issue - it needed to be recalibrated with the car. I did troubleshoot a little on my own, following the steps I found on Honda forums etc. Nothing worked. I went back to the same Valvoline and Rasheed helped me. Sometimes being a woman who doesn't know much about machines and cars your talked to like an idiot. Rasheed was the exception. He was kind, he was polite & made me feel heard. He immediately checked the connections to make sure they were secured correctly etc. It was not the problem. He tried a few other things and shortly after the error message cleared! Some may be needed, some not so much, but YOU have to be a smart consumer too. Never had a problem with a repair or upgrade. Staff is knowledgeable. After calling Advance Auto Parts & Autozone (both closer to my house) and being told they both only have 1 battery left and its $185-195. Insane! I called Pep Boys. They told me $65 all in with taxes and installed. I was in and out in 45 minutes. Great customer service and honesty all around. Sadly the other 2 places feel the need to lie and over charge. Only 1 battery in stock for one of the most commonly driven cars on the planet? Ha sure. Pep Boys In! Keep running smooth.

He always is polite, knowledgable, and willing to patiently talk through my vehicle reports/diagnostics with me. He recently went out of his way to find a really economical alternator replacement for me (which isn't easy to find). I've also had other great interactions with the employees here, but I'll note that I usually drop off early in the morning or when I'm not in a rush (because they are often busy and there can be lines). Overall though, lines are a sign of regular customers which is a testament in itself. Also, Pep Boys has been easy and quick on replacing any parts under warranty that I've had issues with. I personally would recommend them.
