Wish that being said, they were amazing. Also, the fish and chips were good. The jalapeño slow was amazing. The only negative is they didn't answer the restaurant number. Overall, I was definitely pleasantly surprised.

I went with a taco salad, my wife had the Buffalo chicken wrap, and my son had the fish and chips. The taco salad was very good, not great; the Buffalo chicken wrap was very good, not great; the fish and chips were way overcooked...bourbon dark brown overdone. The service here is quite good, but painfully slow. It took an uncomfortable amount of time to get our food (maybe because they just kept frying that fish). But seriously, I spent too much time in here. And yet, my server was great. I kinda felt sorry for the guy as he was trying. I'd go back. I just need to plan more time in my day when I do it. They are close to having it all together, it seems, but are just lagging. My guess is that they are understaffed as most places are. It's hard to find people. But if you're nearby I'd say it's worth a stop.

It was chilly outside so it was a nice surprise when the young lady asked if we wanted to sit by the fireplace. Yes, please!! It was so comfy and warm right there. Our waitress came right over and was so sweet and attentive. I ordered their morning glory burger with the salsa on the side and a salad, and the hubby ordered a cheeseburger with fries. The wait was short and the food was excellent! They forgot to put the salsa on the side for my burger, but it was very good anyway. I'm really starting to enjoy burgers with eggs on them. The salad was enormous! I thought they made a mistake and brought me a $10.00 salad, but no. It was so huge I couldn't finish it, which was a shame because it was so delicious. My hubby said that his was the best burger he's had in a very long time. We were able to leave quickly after finishing our meal since the waitresses carry portable card readers with them and they check you out right at the table which is so very convenient. When we're back next year for Scarefest we will keep Drake's on our radar!

Bartender laid back and kinda dry, but kept everyone's drinks flowing and seemed like the kinda guy who probably warms up as he gets to know you. The drinks aren't bad. Not great, but you're not here for craft cocktails. I had the garden variety, made with Jamaican rum, curry orgeat, velvet falernum, Montenegro, lime, and grenadine. Sweet and a little watery. The Baby gap was probably my favorite, made with mezcal, luxardo, grapefruit, dem syrup, angostura, salt, and malort spritz. I was really surprised by how much I liked this drink. It was smoky and a little savory. I also had the HOA punch, made with Tito's, chamomile lemon ginger tea, scorched lemon, suav blanc syrup, and lemon. It had a tiki vibe. Arcadium has movie nights, including "bad" movie nights which are campy and fun. They do have a large beer list. I was hoping to play some arcade games (I brought tons of ones and a roll of quarters), but they don't have very many games and several are out of order, so that was a bummer. I'll try them out again. Random fact: Arcadium is adjacent to Favor, a niche restaurant that's hard to get into, and they provide the cocktails for the restaurant when they do dinner services. I am going to try to score a res at Favor next week.

We had reservations but ended up getting there early and just had our dinner at the bar. We both had cocktails which we enjoyed along with the deviled eggs for an appetizer. The eggs were okay--a bit spicier than I would have preferred and I would probably try a different app next time I go (there will be a next time for sure!) My shrimp and grits were great but honestly the bourbon glazed wings that my fiance had were the show stoppers. Large sized wings that were smoked perfectly with the right amount of crunch topped with a sweet but not too sweet bourbon glaze. I will definitely get those next time I go. The vibes were casual and chill--the perfect place to pre-game before a game or event or the perfect place to meet friends for a drink. I'd definitely recommend!

For food, we had a mix at the table: fish, steak, and burgers. The fish was off. The texture was strange, almost like the skin had been left on even though it wasn't, and it had a fishy taste that just wasn't right. The burger, on the other hand, was very good and easily the best value of everything we tried. If I ever go back, that's probably what I'd order. The biggest disappointment was the service. Our server clearly wasn't having a good day, didn't seem interested in us, and let our drinks sit empty long enough that we had to wave him down just to get refills. It really took away from the experience. I'd give the place another shot, but if the next visit ends up feeling like this one, it'll probably fall off my list of places to go.

Oh, and cheap drinks, and as of recent we have discovered their food is absolutely delicious and super affordable. I had their Texas Grilled Cheese with their chili recently and it was so so good. Their sourdough melt [burger] is delicious, too. We've been to eat there quite often, twice last week. ‍ Oh yeah, and their service is fantastic just to top it off.
