So we came at 4pm on Saturday and it was awful. You got every worker up front on their phones and AirPods in. Which I get it whatever but like no customer service. Then we get back to where to food is. I don't want to hear anything about short staffed. You got like 6 employees standing around but no pizza on the line and the stuff that is on the line is super old. Then you see employees coming out with plates while the customers standing waiting. Absolutely awful and I will be following up with a phone call. I took pictures to show I'm not lying. Literally everybody at work but no doing anything. I had not been to Gattitown in years before I had my daughter. She is obsessed with lights and buttons so we figured that this would be a decent place to go. She had so much fun that we've been back several times since. The fishbowl game is her favorite. They have a wide selection of food that we easily paired down for her. The employees are really great. We went during a Bluey night and there was only one employee behind the prize counter. There was an insane amount of people trying to get his attention and push to the front. This employee stayed calm and positive. He made sure that anyone who shoved to the front understood that there was a line and they needed to wait their turn. He did his best to keep things nice and orderly and didn't once look grumpy if someone snapped at him. We will absolutely be returning. read more

It's always fun to come to gattitown for pizza and games. I had the lunch buffet for $13.98. There is $2 off buffet for seniors and from 2-4 pm special price of $9.98, drink included. This is one of the few places left that has a big salad bar which was well stocked with a large variety. The pizza was right out of the oven and there were so many kinds. Food is slightly greasy and fake tasting but bearable. Games are for younger kids with no huge rides. Service is kinda slow but again, okay. Ambiance is slow, darker but with some bright lights. there is a theatre to watch while you eat food which is my favorite part. read more

I grew up a fan of Mr. Gatti's when they had a location on Richmond Road. It was always a popular place to hang out, but especially before Henry Clay football games. Later, while attending Centre College, we would often hit the buffet for lunch after partying hard the night before. It was always funny seeing our Centre colleagues rolling in looking miserable, but nothing a bunch of pizza couldn't cure. Still a fan after all these years, I enjoy hitting the pizza buffet a couple of times a month. Their crust always tastes fresh (it's made fresh each day), the sauce is bright and zesty, their provolone cheese has more flavor than most pizza places, and their pepperoni has a nice, slightly spicy flavor profile that I love. And let's not forget their huge salad bar, which is always fresh and delicious. Pro tip: They also have carryout, about 10 bucks per pie, quite a deal given the price/quality. I've been here twice & it was an okay experience both times. The good: -The kids have a blast. -There is a nice variety of food. I especially enjoyed the dessert bar, because most pizza buffets have one dessert at a time, but they had cherry, chocolate, & coconut cream pizza along with cinnamon sticks & monkey bread. There is also vanilla, chocolate & Oreo pudding on the salad bar. -There's a big variety of fun games. All of them worked (other than the shooting arcade taking our credits a couple times) & most were newer, like the virtual reality game (more like a ride, IMO). -I love that they have rides and a play place inside. When we line up, the workers seem to appear out of nowhere & get us going quickly. -They run specials sometimes that make it more affordable. The bad: -Everything takes WAY too many credits. -A $10 card for each child runs out in 10 minutes, TOPS. It buys one ride and about four games IF they choose cheaper ones. I always have my three kids, & sometimes a few extra, so this is NOT a good value, especially considering Chuck E. Cheese has all games for one token & unlimited play options, or we could do something totally different for the same amount of money & it would last longer. -The play place charges so much, it isn't worth doing unless you plan on staying a long time, at which point, I'd recommend Monkey Joe's since it's much bigger & comparably priced. -We always end up with several cards that aren't empty, but don't have enough to play anything else either. They had a theater room playing a children's movie. Which is the section I chose to eat. In the arcade room they had a carousel, never seen one of those in a restaurant before. I've been here dozens of times. My kids love it. We've had birthday parties there. Today, I waited in the lobby for 25 minutes past when my doordashed order was supposed to be picked up before they even realized they didn't have it. I had to ask the lady 3 times to go check before she would. I was a little upset but I didn't yell or cuss at all. I gave my legitimate complaint to the manager. I didn't even ask for one. Decided to brave the COVID and dine-in Monday night, as I knew it wouldn't be busy/crowded. Lori was off, but the other manager Whitney was present. I didn't spwak to he this occasion, but she too, is very nice and helpful, always providing excellent customer service. Agsin, the buffet food is rarely "hot" from pasta to pizza, except for Pepperoni which seems to be freshly cooked and replaced. BUT, they will make a special request and this time the lady clearly understood English, which was also a pleasant plus. you get the pizza of your choice freshly cooked and piping hot in about 10 minutes. When busy, you better get what you want quickly or others take it, but at slow times, you basically can go back for a couple more slices each time you wish. I have been a regular customer here since the day they opened and although I don't think their food is as good as it once was, I am ALL about Customer Service and this place is great! Lori and Whitney should become consultants for the industry and teach other companies' employees NOT to be rude, uncaring, jerks. I will gladly spend my money here because of them. read more

Have been to Gattistown more than a handful of times, always for kids' birthday parties. There's always a person who helps the party people. The buffet is what I enjoy the most. Love their Pepperoni pizza and cinnamon sticks. They have around 10 pizzas on the buffet, from cheese, veggie to buffalo chicken, BBQ chicken, meats etc. There are pastas, mac and cheese, penne etc. There are a few desserts too. The salad bar is huge with plenty of options, toppings and dressings. The game area has a lot of arcade style machines. There are many catering to different age groups. Ate here for about the tenth time. I have been hooked on Gatti's pizza since the early 80's when there was one almost within walking distance of me. Now it's over 100 miles to the closest one, so I guess that says something about how much I like it. Even tho they have a big salad bar also, I usually just fill up on pizza and spaghetti and meat sauce. They have a pretty good selection of pizzas, 8 or 10 at a time including some dessert type ones (e.g. apple cinnamon) They will often make a specific type of pizza for you if you ask. They also have both Coke and Pepsi products which is somewhat rare. Yes, it is somewhat of a kiddie place because of the game area, but that doesn't bother me. No, it's not for gourmets, but it's very cheap for what you get and the variety of choices. Dollar for dollar, you can't beat Gatti's. read more

Gattitown is a fun, semi-inexpensive way to have dinner as a family. I usually go here with my son when we are looking for a fun evening that involves dinner at a minimal dent to my pocketbook. They do take requests for certain pizzas if there is something you'd like but they don't have on the bar. Their cheese bread is very comforting. The salad bar offers a lot of offers for customizing a salad, as well as fruits and some desserts. Personal favorites- Hawaiian pizza, cheese bread, Oreo pudding, Dutch apple pizza, and Herseys pizza. I'm a dessert lover! The game room is priced fairly even. It is much cheaper than Malibu Jacks. It's prize corner is also much, much cheaper than Malibu jacks. The new play area is okay. It is kind of small, and cost 2275 credits to get in, but allows your kid to come in and out to play while you're there. To me, it is very high credit price compared to bounce house they replaced. But the arcade games aren't priced too badly and are usually fun. The piano tiles can help you get a good amount of tickets if you're good at it! All in all, just fun night for the family. read more

There is a a movie room, where family friendly movies run constantly. The other is a Sports room where the guys can watch several monitors showing different events. This weekend my family took a trip to GattiTown. We had the pizza buffet and then let the kids play some games. The buffet was not enjoyable at all. The pizza was warm at best and the best toppings were always missing from the bar. You had to wait there for a fresh pizza to come out if you wanted to get it hot. Also the salad bad, which has a good selection, was completely a mess. It had not been cleaned at all and salad toppings were all over the place. The only saving grace of our visit was the gaming area. The kids had a great time and I found a game that shoots lasers at different areas and causes motion in the area. I've enjoyed these games since I was a little kid and I was happy to spend some money making things move around inside the display! Now it's 100 times better pizza than Little Caesar's if still just not that great of a pizza. I love this place! Why? Because my kids love it! It's not nearly as germ-y as a place like Monkey Joes and has more variety with games than Chuck E Cheese. My kids eat the pizza and my wife and I grab salads and cheese bread. The salad bar is surprisingly good--much better than I expected the first time I went. I wish they stocked spinach leaves, but otherwise I'm able to eat a very colorful meal. They also take safety very seriously. My toddler got away from me once and I wasn't able to find him. Within 30 seconds I had a team of four employees helping to track him down as he'd run around a corner. This has been a great venue for my daughter's sports teams and for weekend rewards for my kids for good behavior. This is a wonderful place to take your kids. Don't be discouraged by reviews seemingly from people who as adults just went for a lunch buffet minus any kids. Why would anyone do that anyway? I'm sure I don't know. The truth is, the food is exactly what you would expect and nothing more... you simply shouldn't care because you don't go for gourmet food in the first place. You go to feed your little minions and let them have a good time. Do kids much care about the low quality pizza and pasta? No! Most of them still think Ketchup is the best thing ever invented. And as much as the overall food quality is on par, the cheese sticks are actually pretty kick ass when they are freshly put out. OH MY GOD, they serve both Coke and Pepsi products! 2 stars from me & here's why. I am a regular here, I really enjoy the salad bar w/ cheese sticks. The pizza is not the best in the world, flavor is a little less than $5 hot n ready style, but still ideal for family's with children like myself. We are quite comfortable with the location & know the routine, so we decided to book my daughters birthday here. We arrived 20 minutes before our party time, which was at 11:00 am, but the doors don't open until 11:00 am.. I was left holding a birthday cake, & a few presents, while my wife tried to calm my daughter outside in the heat. We called the number that the reservation team had given us, only to be directed to a voicemail. I had to knock on the window of their entrance for 15 minutes, only to get let in 5 minutes before our party started.. Very aggravating. We were rushed to decorate the birthday room.. Really ruined the mood of the party when guests showed up as we just got in the birthday party room.. To top it off, it was so awkward & quiet in the room, no music & no movie, I was starting to regret booking here. They have a movie playing in one of the rooms, but be careful, it's kinda hard to eat pizza with your friends when you're so busy laughing at Wreck It Ralph! There are a bunch of variety of arcade games! One minute I was gambling away my tokens on Deal or No Deal, the next I was playing some 80's scuba diving game killing sharks! Kid zone overload here. It is a good place for a play date as long as you want to eat. I wish they had an option for those who don't want to eat to come and play. That's what stinks about birthday parties here. You either have to drop your kid off or pay to come in even though you may not be eating. They usually have one room with sports on and then one more kid focused playing some type of kid movie. They have the game area which is what most come for. The other day they had a 15.00 card you could buy for 2 he unlimited time. You can't win tickets on that but if your kid or you don't care about the tickets and just want to play games that is probably the best bang for your buck. Oh and the food they offer is salad bar and pasta bar and pizza. They usually have breadsticks, cheese sticks and some dessert pizza as well. read more

As far as all-you-can-eat pizza places, this one isn't too bad. The food tastes decent and you'll leave full. I'm not a huge fan of their salad bar (hence the lack of the fifth star). If something looks old or like it's been sitting out too long, just ask them to make it fresh and they will. Upsides: they will make whatever kind of pizza you want - you just have to ask, the place is pretty clean when I've been, and when you're done you can spend a few bucks to play a game or two in the back and you can cash in your tickets for prizes. Downsides: it can sometimes be full of kids (to be expected), the kids can be kind of gross (touching everything on the bar), and sometimes a bit rude (you'd think they were never taught manners) -- but again, it's expected. Try going on a day that isn't typically busy like weekday lunchtime or late dinner to avoid some of this "downside" crowd. Play games; you'll have fun. I hadn't been to a Mr. Gatti's since I was a kid, 20+ years ago. I was on lunch break from work and really wanting pizza, and as I was right near this place I figured I'd drop in and get some nostalgia with my pizza. Yeah, I'd heard that somewhere along the way they had changed the name of the chain from Mr. Gatti's to Gattitown. The pizza was mediocre, but for buffet pizza I guess it was acceptable. If I had ordered it as an eat-in pizza at a conventional pizza place I would have been disappointed, but I'll accept the lower quality that comes with buffet cuisine. The salad bar was acceptable but minimal, and they had a small selection of pasta and soup as well. You would certainly get your ~$8 worth there for a meal. I've had worse buffets, that's for sure. Now, it also has a game arcade and that is a large part of the draw. However, I was there for business and really was just wanting a pizza buffet. When I was a kid, Mr. Gatti's only had 2 or 3 arcade machines in the corner, so this was a big upgrade. The kids seemed to be having fun with it. The day I was there they were having a special of a free $5 card for credit in the arcade with each buffet. I ended up giving mine to a kid and making his day. On a recent trip home to TN from Michigan we stopped at GattiTown for lunch and a little relaxation before continuing our ride home. This was my first time at GattiTown or any Gatti's locations. I was impressed with how friendly all the staff was and at the amount of room there was in the facility. Entry is by purchase of a buffet but the prices were reasonable compared to food costs at other similar facilities. I loved that the buffet and dining rooms were separate from the arcade area because you didn't have to worry about trying to eat with kids running around. They have three dining rooms to eat in and we chose to sit in the area with the kid's movie playing. This is a great way to keep kids entertained while the parents finish eating. If you are a sports fan they have a dining area just for you with multiple tvs full of sports. For those that don't want distraction while eating, there is also a normal dining area. The buffet was fully stocked and had everything you could want from salads to dessert pizza. Everything was fresh and warm and I was pleased with the quality of the food. They also have drink machines which feature Pepsi and Coke products along with tea and coffee. The arcade was clean and there was plenty of room to maneuver around. There were games for kids of all ages and I love that they have a game card vs. tokens and tickets. It made it easy to go from game to game without worrying you might lose something. This also made it simply when it was time to cash out for prizes. They simply scan the card and know how many tickets you have. The prizes are in line with other similar places and my daughter was happy with what she was able to redeem her tickets for. It was a pleasant experience and one we will probably add to our travel routine. I don't have a Gattitown near me but we do have a Gatti's pizza so I know what I will be checking out net. read more
