The Burl arcade is great for an evening out or a place to grab a drink and have a little fun before a show across the parking lot. Drinks are reasonably priced and there's games...who doesn't love a good arcade game? Be sure to grab a pic by the cool TV wall while you're there. Be advised, children are allowed in before 8pm so maybe wait until after if you want to avoid the kids.

I never leave the Burl without a shot and a game of skee-ball! Such a fun place for a date or going out with friends.

    Great atmosphere!

Great atmosphere & affordable prices! Can't wait to come back! The kids had a fun time and enjoyed the food, had to order seconds!

I don't even like video games and I love the Burl Arcade. I read about this place on Yelp a couple months ago, thought my husband would love it, bookmarked it, and finally surprised him with a brief trip to the Burl one weekend after a month ago. Easy to miss, the arcade is tucked away in an industrial area down near an overpass. Small parking lot between two buildings: one is the Burl (for music, etc.) and the other is the arcade. Inside, there is a bar (appeared fully stocked) near one end of the building. The other end of the building has a couple skeeball games, and a large wall of televisions playing old movies, along with a few televisions hooked up to old-school video games available for play. In between the two ends of the buildings are about 3 rows of old school arcade games. I've always enjoyed pinball, so I was delighted to see some pinball machines. Husband was in love with the place and promptly began to play. I thought it was neat. Our son was overwhelmed but really enjoyed the skeeball game (even though he didn't quite grasp it). Skeeball is $.25 per game, other games in the building are also priced low. You can easily come here for a drink, some games, and conversation any time of day. Definitely a great, nostalgic place to go.

What a fun place to pop into from time to time! Lots of old school arcade games and a bunch of pinball machines along with a few skee ball lanes and a big Connect 4 game. Adults and children were both there on a snowy winter Sunday afternoon which may be why it was only mildly busy. I'm not sure how the traffic is normally, though. They have what appears to be a fully stocked bar if you'd like to enjoy some beverages as you hang out and the games were pretty inexpensive at $0.25 to $0.50 to play. Of course, if you haven't brushed up on those old school video games, the replay costs add up quickly! Hahahaha! As always happens to games, some are out of order but with the number of games they had, only a couple were broken so that's not bad! Pretty cool place and definitely worth a visit if only for nostalgia's sake.

The burl and the arcade are giving me liiiife during this pandemic. They have found a way to do contactless ordering by providing virtual menus and online ordering. I got to see live music and never had to leave my seat to order - I clicked on the $5 mojito (yes, that's right) and it was brought to me within a couple of minutes! They also serve food now and the burgers are AMAZING. 10/10 would recommend this place ... they really enforce the mask wearing when you're up from your table, so you don't ever feel at risk.

What can I say, you play video games and drink the local spirits of the distillery across the street "pepper distillery". Trivia night on WED friendly staff great old Visio games, quarters needed ‍

Ambiance was spectacular, some of the games didn't work. There was a good vibe nonetheless and they had great music playing!

Ask the Community - The Burl Arcade

Crazy question, cause I see it's a bar... but is it child friendly? Like during the day?

It is child friendly as far as I have seen.

Pinball and a couple others cost 50 cents to a $1 to play but everything else was 25 cents.

Here's how it works. Everything in the building has an assigned cost. You just load money onto a card at the front and swipe that for every attraction. There's a list of attraction costs at the front to help you decide how much to load. We did the buy $50, get a $10 bonus option. $60 was more than enough for hours of fun for a three year old. The arcade games show your balance with each swipe to help keep track. Check their website ahead of time because certain attractions are half off on specific days of the week. We visited on a Monday and that happened to be half off of mini golf. The five of us were able to play for $20! I can't believe how much is offered in one building! They had a large indoor playground, putt putt, go karts, arcade games, laser tag, bowling, a mini roller coaster, 4D rides, bumper cars, and virtual reality. They also have a large cafe with plenty of seating. All of the attractions and building were clean, well maintained, and operational. There were only a couple of arcade games that were out of order, but most were working. If you're a parent looking to entertain/run your kids then this is a fun place to do it. On a Monday it wasn't crazy busy so it was a pleasant outing for the family.

The go karts are slow af and cost $10 worth of credits. So does the silly "roller coaster" at the front. The other in the back desperately needs seatbelts I believe it's $8-$10 as well. Children have to ride with an adult. I had to hold onto my 11 year old daughter for dear life to prevent her from flying out. While holding myself in at the same time. The "safety bar" didn't even go down enough to keep me in, and I've got a belly. Awful.

We ended up parking on the pay lot, which had limited options other than overnight for about $20... obviously, that is not their fault though. The arcade seemed fun but we weren't able to play since we had no cash/cards. It definitely had a nostalgic vibe. Since we got there early, we were able to secure free seating, but most of the benches were about to fall apart; we moved a few times, eventually to the top of one of the bars which had great views. Drinks were okay, I didn't get to try their food unfortunately since they were slammed. The only thing I didn't like was that we paid for the event, got a wristband, but there were so many ways you could have gotten in without paying anything at all. I'd love to give them another try when there is no event.

There's plenty of seating, a super cool laid-back atmosphere, and the kind of crowd that makes you feel like you picked the right place without even trying. Bonus: the UK basketball game was on, the place was packed with fans, and the Cats WON so the energy was immaculate. High fives, cheers, happy strangers everywhere. You love to see it. We had the German Pilsner and the American Light. Both were crisp, refreshing, and exactly what you want in hand while celebrating a UK win. No notes. It's one of those spots where you go for "just a quick drink" and immediately start planning your next visit. We'll definitely be back to try food from Lucy's and hopefully catch a show next time.
