I'm not a customer, a neighbor is, and while on a service call, this tech bypassed the correct driveway, went down ours, passed another sign with our house number and proceeded to pull up to our house and take the panel off our generator power supply. - Did he confirm the address? No - Did he go to the front door to identify himself and the work he was there for? No - Did he put everything back once he realized his mistake? HELL NO - Did he tell his company and my neighbor what happened? Yes - Did he admit he left the panels off the box? No, he told everyone he "thought" he put them back. Pro tip Sparky, unless you have a license to think, MAKE DAMN SURE you put them back. The terms "violation" "trespassing" and "breaking & entering" come to mind. We've been having thunderstorms all day, I'd hate to think what would happen with a lightning strike, probably lose my whole home. The phrase "don't come near my property or do it AYOR" comes to mind. In calling the office, we got apologies and excuses. You know what, stop after apologies and you're better off. Don't contact us again. 0/10 recommended, if I could give zero stars, I would.

These guys pulled out an ice storm miracle. When the big ice storm of 2026 hit and all of the power…read morewent out, we were in a bind: Our family of 5 plus a dog were staying with friends; but one of our friends was immunocompromised and starting to get sick, and the estimate was that we might be out of power for another 10 days! I walked into this place, and asked, "Any chance you can install a generator tomorrow?" The rep said that installs were being booked out 3-8 weeks in advance -- but then he stopped himself. He realized that the wait had to do with a specific circumstance that only applies when the power grid is working. When the grid it out, they can work much faster. He made some calls and told me that I was in luck. I couldn't believe it. The next morning, I was holding my breath expecting the plan to fall apart; but the guys showed up, worked all day, and got the generator on by 8:30 PM. The guys were amazing: polite, diligent workers, and the install is super clean and works just like it is supposed to. The sales rep helped to identify a discount that I qualified for and helped to get me a zero-interest 6-month payment plan. Now, as you know, generators aren't cheap; but I chatted with AI, and it told me that I was getting a good price -- it also told me that I would likely get a discount on my home insurance, and also likely get a 3% bump in my home price when I sell the house -- which would pay for the generator in the end. So, it was a no-brainer for me. My only complaint was that the arrival communication on the morning of the install was poor and that I could have been given a walkthrough about how to sync the unit up with my wifi by the guys. But they were exhausted after a 12 hour day working non-stop and so I'll give them some slack. Apart from those two points, these guys are my heroes. Highly recommend!

Hello. I am selling a house and needed electrical work…read moredone by 5/29/2019. I called Travis Electrical service and requested a quote for wiring in a dishwasher and also an oven. I also needed 4 ceiling fans replaced and a vanity light in the bathroom installed. The team showed up on time and were very professional and courteous. I was given an estimate of $1000 but the house wiring would not be up to code in order to pass the building inspection. Travis Electrical stated that it would cost me an additional $1000 to bring things up to code. I agreed. 4 hours later the team called me and said they had completed the project as I had agreed to bring them a check. During the walk through I was informed that one of the globes on a fan was broken when they opened the package. He said, "Take the box back to Lowe's and the store would replace it. (The globe). I took his word for it. I also asked if they guaranteed the house would pass building codes. He said no. (In case they missed something) The next morning Travis Electrical Service administration called and were asking for a 5 star rating for the electrical team. I stated that the team was courteous and professional but way overpriced @ $500 per hour. This morning I said that the work looked good. I am now at the house inspecting the 4 ceiling fans. Upon further inspection. I found that one of the lights was without chain markers (extended pieces of chain with a medallion at the end. This medallion is clearly marked either "fan" or "light" which makes it easy to turn on the fan or light or both. I searched through the boxes and found the two chains and installed them myself. Another fan had the two chains installed in the wrong place completely backwards. Which I uninstalled and reinstalled correctly. Because 3 out of 4 fans required work from me to operate correctly. I am beginning to question whether the fixture was broken during installation or not. As I study the work receipt I see that I was charged $761 for five wireless smoke detectors. (Amazon sells them for $32 a piece). A plastic weather proof cover for an outlet was $54. I applaud their professionalism and courtesy but feel I was taken advantage of because of my deadline time frame and the extreme markup for smoke detectors and plastic all weather cover and the terrible attention to detail on the ceiling fans. The next day I received a call from the company's customer service asking if I was satisfied with the work. I said, "No I am not satisfied." And I explained to her why. She said, "I will be there with a crew tomorrow and make everything right." They showed up on time. Fixed all my issues. Took the smoke detectors off the walls and gave me a refund check of $761. I am very impressed with how deeply they wanted to make me a happy customer. And now I am. 5 stars for customer service.

I told them I need to leave my house by 9:30am to open my store at 10:00am. I get a text at 8:30am telling me the tech is on the way. I call in and talk to sone guy, and tell them he was supposed to be here at 8:00am, and was told he's still about 45 minutes away. The guy on the phone said he didn't realize I was in EST. I made the comment that it's always an excuse with them, his response was, "This is the 1st time I've talked to you."... True but I've spoken with many there, and they always have an excuse. I am given a choice, either wait or cancel. The arrogance of the guy on the phone, I told him to cancel, and I'll find another company to fix my generator. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE 3/26/2026: The tech was supposed to be here yesterday (3/25) afternoon. Never showed up, but I did get a call at 8:00pm to let me know that he wasn't going to make, but I would get a call from dispatch tomorrow. Received the call, and was told he was on his way. I'm sorry, some of us have work, and can't drop what we are doing to be at your beckon call. They rescheduled for Tuesday (3/31) as the first call... He is supposed to be here at 8:00am. I'm not holding out high hopes... We'll see. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ UPDATE 3/20/2026: I guess they are going come out next week to double check that there's an issue. Wow... Let's hurry up and wait to get the issue with my very expensive whole home generator. I have no idea if or when it will be fixed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ UPDATE 3/16/2026: They finally came out, and needed to order a part. That was 2 weeks ago have not heard from them. I had a power outage last night, and was standing out in the rain and wind at 2:00am to manually turn on my generator. Then I had to take the panel off this morning to manually flip the transfer switch back to city power after I turned the generator off. The original issue happened on Jan 22nd, and it's now March 16th. I'm coming on 3 months of not having a properly working system. I just hung up with them, and they said they are waiting to hear back, and will call me tomorrow. At this point I wish I could give them less than 1 star. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3 weeks ago, my generator turned on, and it transferred over to generator power. I never lost city power. The power company came and tested to make sure it wasn't on their side. I called Cove to come out and figure out what is going on. I was transferred to another company called Pioneer, and was told it would be 2 weeks before anyone would be able to get out. I ended up having to pay a local electrician to figure out what was going on, and get me back on city power. The cold and snow hits, and I get a text from Pioneer, that they are cancelling my service, it's going to be the end of March when they have time to come out and service my generator. Then a couple of days later I get a text that they have opening s at the end of Feb. There was no contact number, and no indication that I can respond to the text. I just took a call from Pioneer to see if I still needed service. Yes, because my generator is still broken. When I originally called, I'm not sure she understood that things were broken, and that the maintenance call was just an add on while they are here. Now that I've hung up with her, I'm not sure she still understood that my system is broken. If I hadn't paid out of my own pocket I would have been on generator for well over a month waiting for them to come out and fix my generator. This is a complete and total failure in service. After they come out and fix the generator, I will be looking for a new company to take over my service contract.

Good thing too because it needed a new battery. They were very helpful in going over the generator with us and answering all our questions. We also signed up for their yearly maintenance and monitoring service. We needed to call them for something (I don't remember what) but they were really responsive and quick to come out. We highly recommend Cove Generators, and we have to our neighbors. They are honest, quick in responding to customers and genuinely nice people. They have great people working for them and we would trust them for any of our generator needs.
