My son has a very hard cow lick and every hair cut he gets the barber fixes is by shoving a ton of gel in it, which my son hates. If there was a contest for speed haircuts, I'm sure he'd be a formidable candidate. And my hair looks just fine. I wasn't looking for Show Dog Treatment today so i am pleased with a nice spring weather buzz cut. Probably the worst barbershop i've ever been to. My haircut was done in 5 mins. That should tell you everything how bad the job was. The barber seemed to have a phobia with razors, did not use it on my temple or behind my ears. Terrible out of shapee trim. Keep up the terrible work and you'll be out of business soon. tried these guys for the first time since I can't find a good barber in he area. I asked for a trim and keep the sides long, the barber pretty much cur my hair shorter than asked, I had to remind him to do my ears and he forgot to do my eyebrows and after he was reminded he laughed it off and never did them. Five chairs; Arthur, David, Dave, Roman, Bobby. (I believe those are their names). I usually take whoever is available first but i will try to avoid some... Arthur, cuts fairly good. Have only been cut by him maybe twice. David, skilled and seems to know what he's doing, young, attentive and friendly. Dave, not that great, will cut your hair in less than 5 minutes and leave you with hair all over your face and then charge you 20 dollars for the most basic cut. Roman, absolutely terrible, not friendly and have never been happy with his haircuts. He is on his phone a lot and always seems like he doesn't want to be there working. Bobby, I think he is the best at this barber shop. Takes the most time with your haircut and pays attention to every detail. Overall not impressed with the barbershop though, every time I go I am charged a different price, and I get the same cut every time. read more

I have been going to LI Finest since they opened and have been a happy customer ever since. I remember going to the same location a few years ago when it was under a different owner and it was very outdated. From the day the new owner took over until now, the place has really made a complete 180. It is a modern barbershop with everything new along with a welcoming atmosphere Arthur has been my barber for a long time now and he is an extremely professional barber/business owner. There is not one amateur barber there, which is very hard to find nowadays. There is never a long wait either since all of their chairs have barbers. All in all, this is a top tier barbershop that I would highly recommend visiting. on a side note: I have no idea what the other review was talking about, but if my wife ever screamed and CRIED about a hair cut, I would get a divorce. read more

Went to this Barber for the first time after work on Friday and got the warmest welcome I could ask for. That immediately made me feel super comfortable and my barber Roman was an artist with the scissors, seriously the best cut I've had in a long time. Barber does good cuts but if it's not what I want then wtf am I paying you for? Never going back. The cuts aren't cheap either and they're always pushing some product on you. I wish I can put a 0 as a rating. I brought 2 of my kids for a haircut over the weekend. Very unprofessional I believe one of the guys who cut his hair was the owner Arthur and the other one who cut my other sons hair was David. Arthur cut my sons neck with a razor at the end and he didn't even change the razor and when I told him sir please change the razor he said to me I did with such a nasty attitude. This place is extremely unprofessional and unsanitary. David cut my sons hair and it looks like a mullet on his head. If I'm not mistaken they work in the first two chairs. I am very disappointed with there service and will no longer be returning and I don't recommenced anyone else going there as well. The whole time I was there all the employees were talking in Russian. I happen to understand the language and I was in shock about the things they were saying. They are lucky nothing was said about me. DO NOT GO THERE ! DONT WAIST YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY. There are many barbershops in Long Island and this is definitely not a place to go. It started off a nice day in the neighborhood stopped by the area with my kids after picking them up from soccer practice to get some prescriptions meds up by the cvs next door to a barbershop salon which I haven't noticed earlier being in the area almost all my life looked like a nice spot In the community so I did an open walk in with my boys and to start things off the shop smelled like food and the barbers were busy for the moment so they told me my wait time was not too long and a lady in the back finished with her job and I was expecting to have my turn next, while the boss was still busy however the boss spoke in a different language to her before she anticipated to invite us over to her chair so instead she went to the back into a room and didn't come out I'm assuming the bossman said to her that we were new and wanted to cut my boys hair himself in their language so the time finally came and my kids got their hair cut and it was not worth the wait their haircuts were terrible and unpresentable I asked the bossman politely to do them both with only scissors no clippers nor buzzers and first thing he did was clipper cut the sides instead of using scissors I'm assuming he didn't understand the language coming out of my lips when I've explained it thoroughly to him that I only want it with scissors for them or maybe he was rushing to eat his lunch knowing the whole shop smelled like it soon as I waked in through that door I've payed 15 for the haircut for each boy which is reasonable price but not for this shop then came home later to hear and see my wife screaming and crying it started off as a nice day but all ended terribly with the poor quality haircuts this shops a joke if there was a zero star rating I would give it a zero instead of a 1 star rating. 1 lesson learned always stick to the same barber never go somewhere new. read more
