When our oldest daughter entered kindergarten we decided it would be more conducive to find a center closest to home for our youngest daughter. To say goodbye was heart wrenching. Tears and all. A little back story: My 1.5 year old daughter started at…read moreABC'S & 123'S exactly 1 month ago. Prior to this daycare, she had been to 2 other in home daycares with other children, and there were never ANY issues. For the most part, my daughter is pretty good and well mannered as much as a 1.5 year old can be. She's used to being with other people, at different homes, and she has never shown any signs of separation anxiety, missing me, etc. When we started at ABC'S & 123'S, there was an initial 2 week "trial period" to make sure the child is a good fit and thriving in the environment. Makes sense-totally understandable. In these last 4 weeks that my daughter has been enrolled in Linda's daycare, there were zero conversations had about my daughters behavior, no inclination that there had been any issues, nothing. I was under the impression that things were going smoothly. In fact, I received texts from Linda in the beginning of May stating VERBATIM 'she's a happy little girl' and 'all was great today, we have no concerns.' Fast forward to yesterday. I picked my daughter up from one of Linda's workers, Kathy, and instantaneously noticed red marks on my daughter's face and neck. Literally any person who has eyes would be able to notice them right away. Thinking that it might just be food, markers etc., and also being on the phone at the time, I didn't say anything to Kathy at pick up, however, once we got home, I noticed that my daughter had CUTS and SCRATCHES, some that even DREW BLOOD on her neck, chin, arm, and face. I immediately reached out to Linda and asked what happened, and she advised me that HER NOR KATHY knew what had happened, nor did they EVEN NOTICE THE MARKS ON HER. I'M SORRY- WHAT?! My daughter has distinct fingernail marks in her neck and arm and you're telling me you HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HAPPENED? HOW?! THIS IS LITERALLY YOUR ONLY JOB!!!! After taking ZERO accountability, not even an apology, we hang up, and about an hour later, she sends me a text message stating that my daughter has been, and I quote, 'struggling to join comfortably into our program' and 'we feel it is in her best interest to discontinue enrollment into the program.' She then had the audacity to tell me that all of my daughters belongings will be outside ON HER PORCH for me to come pick it up!!!!!! She has since been unresponsive. This is not the only concern I've had with Linda's daycare. Just last week, I picked my daughter up from daycare, and shortly after, she started dry heaving and throwing up water/clear liquid in the car. NOTHING else came up besides water/clear liquid!! My daughter had ZERO food in her stomach!! NOTHING!! Hence the highly likely reason as to why she threw up in the first place!!!! When I reached out to Linda regarding if my daughter had eaten, she claimed that she had....OK. Then it wasn't enough. My daughter was so hungry, and I have never seen a 1.5 year old eat fast enough. Based on these 2 situations, I feel that either a) Linda and Kathy are not being forthcoming and honest about what is actually going on, OR b) Linda and her staff are not being as attentive to some of the younger children, and they are suffering because of it. Everyone really needs to be cautious when selecting a daycare, especially when your child cannot speak. The way Linda handled our situation was despicable and inhumane. My daughter and I have never been treated so poorly. For someone that prides themselves in being one of the only "5 star daycares" in Macomb, you'd think they'd treat us with a little more respect and care, but we did not receive that. Update: I texted Linda today, 5/24, to collect my daughter's belongings, and she sent me a text saying, 'it's on the sidewalk.' I get there, and she put my DAUGHTER'S STUFF IN THE ROAD!!!!!!

Linda is consistently reliable, professional, kind, and an excellent communicator. We never had ANY kind of issue with Linda over the years and we feel truly fortunate to have found her wonderful daycare. I notice there's one very horrible one-star review on here that is clearly from a disgruntled mother. That review is outrageously ridiculous and entirely one-sided. It's difficult to even read through the review, knowing it lacks truth. It hurts my heart because Linda does NOT deserve these horrible things to be said about her. I strongly encourage anyone considering using Linda to speak with any of her long-term customers (parents) to get a true understanding of what to expect from her. Linda has dedicated 29 years of her life to providing exceptional care for children and I recommend her without hesitation.

A large tent ensures that no matter what the weather conditions, this event will take place. Did I mention free? Yep, completely free to all who attend. The church and school combination has continued to serve the community since the turn of the last century, and although it might sound like the buildings are perhaps outdated, to the contrary, the church is modern and up-to-date, with beautiful stained glass windows and a pipe organ that is one of the larger ones in the region. The school is smaller than many of the local elementary schools, but the students receive some of the best training and education in the State of Michigan. Every testing system ever used to evaluate the student's progress has consistently scored them in the upper echelon of elementary education. Attached to the school is an Early Childhood Center which continues to receive awards year after year. Bravo to the group at Trinity for serving Macomb County and making positive contributions to our local community!!

They let the basket ball players cut into our time. When I asked for their help, they shortened the pickleball hours. The gym is dirty. The locker room is about 100 years old. In the summer, it gets very crowded. The athletic director and regular director used to get to know us and notify us of changes. Now all they do is change the calendar and call it a day. The front desk staff is unfriendly.

Everyone is so kind and nurturing to the kids Everything is clean and well kept I LOVE that the infants room is staff and infants only. It makes me so happy to leave my little one there. Makes my heart happy to see people genuinely loving over these children. They completely understand my parenting ways of BLW and have no issue with that. Which is a plus. Pick up and drop off are fast easy and always with a warm welcome or a happy see you later. The app they use is very efficient especially chatting one on one with teachers !
