I spend my weekend out in Long Island and I am just getting over strep when my ear began to feel weird. ( I know that sometimes strep can cause and ear infection ) I found this urgent care On yelp and they had excellent reviews. I am super picky with where I go for for medial treatment. Upon arrival the office is big and clean. SO CLEAN! The receptionist and nurses were amazing and so professional. There was a bit for a wait but it was a bit busy so I can't complain. The doctor was so knowledgeable and precise. She explained thoroughly what was wrong. ( I was right ear infection ) which is really good for those who don't have medical background, which is most people. I highly recommend this urgent care to everyone. Came in on Monday 2/17 with a bad cough and congestion but I was concerned about the cough because it didn't feel like a normal cough to me. Get called in and Dr starts examination. She asked me if I had any body aches or headaches I said No.. she then told me I'm fine and if I answered yes to a headache or body ache she could prescribe a steroid. I did not change my answer just to get the steroids. I left the office being told I'm fine and no medications given. I then went to my regular primary Dr that Friday (4 days later) and turned out I have bronchitis and was given an antibiotic, cough medicine and inhaler. I went back to my primary Dr today, still not better and now being given steroids. Dr. Lina Hwang was the physician I saw at urgent care and because of her negligence to treat me I will not use urgent care again. read more

Coming in for the flu, waiting outside two minutes before they opened. The male receptionist opened the door and did not even acknowledge us nor say good morning, not even a smile. He told us to fill out the form and they will call us when we were ready. He had a terrible attitude towards us and other patients. He should not be working here and should really work on his customer service skills. Unfortunately he did not have a name tag on so I do not have a name but he sits at the front desk answer phone calls and people who come in, he is not a nurse or a doctor. I visited the clinic today in hopes to obtain a strep test. The wait time and cleanliness were great. I walked in, mask on, and immediately entered the exam room where I was first seen by a female nurse. The nurse was friendly and helpful. She asked if I wanted to have a Covid test, for which I declined as I am vaccinated, have not been exposed to my knowledge and did not have symptoms that I felt warranted a COVID test. I took my mask off only for the throat culture; however, there were no signs in the exam room asking me to keep my mask on, nor any verbal reminders from the nurse as she left waiting for the PA to come examine me asking me to put my mask back on. As my mask was off from the throat culture, it did not cross my mind to put it back on while I waited for the PA as I was alone in the exam room and again, I am vaccinated and I was not asked to put a mask on while I waited in this room alone. Immediately upon entering the exam room, the PA snapped at me to "KEEP your mask on at all times". A simple, kind request asking me to put my mask on would have sufficed but instead, I was snapped at. I immediately put it on as I have no issue wearing a mask, I just didn't have it on in that moment. The PA also asked if I would like a Covid test, for which I declined again. The PA was clearly not happy with this decision. My examination of my throat lasted all of 3 minutes. I am not in the medical profession but I have never sought medical advice for ears, nose or throat and was not checked for all 3 regardless of symptoms. ENT go together for a reason. Only my ears and throat were checked, not my nose. I also did not have a neck gland check nor was my right lung checked via stethoscope when doing the deep breathing task (only the left). My main concern is not the results of my egregiously abbreviated exam but the fact that I felt I received borderline negligent medical care because I did not have my mask on (through error, not through taking a political stance etc) and I declined a COVID test. I pushed off seeking medical care for a few days because I was afraid this would be exactly what happened. I understand medical professionals have been through a lot this year but citizens need to be able to trust and seek out help when needed without fear of retaliation. When people are sick, we are at our most vulnerable state and to be treated this way is heartbreaking. I have never received such awful care before and unless absolutely necessary, I do not plan to visit this clinic again. I write this review in hopes it prevents this from happening to the next person. read more

We came in because my spouse had chest pain. We arrived at 9:30pm and it's now 1:20am and we are still waiting for the doctor to come in and give us the results of the X-Ray. This wait is unacceptable, we could have gone to the emergency room and been out already. The staff is super slow and to make matters worst there's only one doctor here, whom is pregnant and needs help with all these patience. Please do not come here go elsewhere!!!!!!! I had an appointment scheduled for 7:55 pm upon arrival, and I listened to a 5-minute phone message on what to do when you arrive to your save the "spot" as they refer to your appointment time. Once I finally get the rude receptionist on the phone, she states they're now closed and won't see me. How is It possible you schedule an appointment for 7:55 pm, and when you arrive, you're told they close at 8 pm?? Completely unprofessional!!! Came here twice and both times were satisfactory. My only issue is the extremely long wait time both times I was here. The staff is very nice and thorough. The place was clean and I didn't feel rushed and I felt like the PA listened and actually cared. Their bedside manor is great. And it's open until 11:30pm which is so helpful! This was my first and last time coming here! Im extremely upset and disappointed with the lack of care. I came here last night for an emergency. I'm 21 weeks pregnant and had a fever. I waited about an hour to be seen but only to be put in a room to wait longer. I asked at what time am I going to see a doctor and they kept on repeating in 10mins. I finally had to get up and leave because I was sick and really tired. When I got up to tell a lady that I was leaving she replied "okay you can leave" extremely rude! I completely understand that at most offices you have to wait but to wait more than an hour is absurd. Especially when someone isn't feeling well and the staff is outside doing absolutely nothing! read more

Horrible horrible service I filled out paperwork put my local pharmacy and even when the doctor asked to double check I told them the same pharmacy. Did not try n fix did not tell me they had to cancel it before my pharmacy can fill it sat on hold for 46minutes and sat in my pharmacy for 35 minutes before that. Then I was told I had to waste another 1 hour n half driving to the other pharmacy waiting and picking it up from the pharmacy they wrongfully sent it too. Call the weekend manager rashad and was told what you do want me to do with an attitude and told me he didn't know his boss's name so i couldn't tell his superiors. Ridiculous literally wasted half a day for no reason and then the disrespect on the phone by him saying what do you want me to do and laughing. What a joke I use to come here all the time not anymore. Sad because the owner is a very nice lady who has helped me out a lot but the her workers do not have the same work Ethic. read more

Truly a top notch health center and a wonderful addition to the community. Decided to come in last minute for a health concern and was extremely impressed by the gorgeous new facility. Beyond clean, technology advanced (ipads in the waiting and exam rooms, wifi, online patient portal, paperless prescriptions) and was offered different refreshments. The staff was incredibly friendly, personable and efficient. From the front desk to the nurses and doctors you rarely come across a complete staff that's so passionate and eager to help you. I was able to get in and out in no time and left feeling very comfortable and educated. The staff even followed up a few times following the visit to see how everything was going. I've been here twice, saw the same doctor both times. Had a great experience both times. The waiting room is modern, ipads, snacks, coffee, water and is very clean. Super efficient in getting you in the door and seen as quickly as you can, they take the co-pay up front, so you can just walk out when you are done. I love the ability to do that, I mean you end up waiting at the doctor's regardless, might as well make use of the time. Loved that I was given a steroid in the office (one time dose) that would help with some of the inflammation of my throat, I try not to take a lot of drugs, but being in this much pain it was nice to have something that could help a little right away. (still in pain but maybe it would have been worse!) Dr. Natalie Digioia seems very knowledgeable and I will definitely be back here. Now if only they had mobile check-ins/spot reservations on their website then they would get 6 stars from me =P read more

I am so happy I came here. The staff went above and beyond from start to finish. My wait in the reception was short and I was quickly placed in a room after filling out paperwork. Dr. Natalie Gioia was genuinely warm, attentive and caring. She was not only professional but very kind and friendly. So was the other staff; the nurse that helped me, Dana, was very sweet and gentle while administering an IV and checked up on me several times making sure I was feeling okay and brining a blanket so I was comfortable. Being sick really stinks but being able to receive such wonderful medical care was reassuring and made the experience such a good one. This place is amazing !! I've seen both doctors and they go above and beyond!!! Even the X-ray tech was so nice!! It's the night before Xmas eve and what I thought was a cold got progressively worst! I couldn't breathe and was in such pain!!! I called about 7:35(they close at 8:00) which the girl(receptionist ) urges me to come .. Saying don't worry we're here no problem at all!!! (Never happens ) I'm so glad I did the male doctor did a chest X-ray at my request(I just got over pnemonia ) and since I'm nursing gave me a couple medications and spoke to me how to use them.. And was very cautious about the effects with me nursing but wanted the best medications to knock out my miserable chest infection! I was afraid a relapse from pnemonia .. Well anyhow I am a hundred times better and it's midnight.. I'm so comfy and ready to sleep :) finally!! Thank you guys your amazing doctors !! read more

Was seen for a finger infection. After paying a copay to be seen at urgent care I was told I need to see a hand specialist and they were calling to find one who took my insurance for me to go to for same day appointment as a infection could be serious and land me in hospital . I drove 35 mins to the hand specialist and once I arrive I was told they didn't participate in the plan and they charge is normally $650 for consult but since I was sent from urgent care who called to verify coverage my consult would only cost me $350 as a courtesy... I called back LI urgent care to be told they only called to get me an appointment and it wasn't their responsibility to make sure the hand specialist took my plan even though I was told that in the office during visit and also by first person I spoke to when I called to voice how upset I was. The girl was fast to point out I could have choose not to be seen even though I just drove 35 mins and was told how serious the infection could be by the doctor at LI urgent care.. bottom line I wanted them to credit me back the $40 copay I paid them since they sent me for care under false information costing me an additional $350 plus a loss of 4 hours at work. Well they weren't willing to credit me back . Customer service there was horrible and cost me money I should not have had to spend...... To add insult to injury here is the reply to my review from LI Urgent Care of West Babylon ... just makes me more irritate since the girl I spoke to this afternoon( after the gentleman I spoke to who also confirmed they called a specialist who participated in my plan) insisted she never said the doctor participated in my insurance they were just calling to get me an appointment with a hand specialist and it was my responsibility to make sure they participate. Flipping joke !!! Took my copay and gave me a dose of antibiotic and sent me off on a 35 min ride to only find out if I wanted to the care they insisted I needed it would cost me big time. think it's time I call my insurance company to dispute the visit and my cc company as well since they wouldn't refund me read more

I can't even remember my PCP's name anymore. I only go to LI Urgent Care now. It is so nice and clean. Very friendly staff and the wait time is short! Wait time is half of the reason why I dread doctor appointments so it is such a relief to know I'll be in and out. They have an x-ray machine in office so I'm not running around all over the place for tests. They keep snacks and iPads out in the waiting room, which is great to keep the kids occupied. They follow up with a phone call 2 days after your visit to check on you, how sweet is that???? I've seen three different doctors. Two of them I love, very attentive, caring and sincere. The other doesn't seem to be quite with it but I will definitely continue to go there. read more

I am so impressed with this facility. This was my very first experience. From the moment I walked in I was impressed it is bright and clean, all of the faculty were extremely friendly. My nurse Dana was very compassionate, gentle and attentive, my Dr. Melina Khwaja was AMAZING!!!, she went beyond the call of duty. I came in really sick, she made a diagnostic which turned out to be a Kidney infection and it was right on. She gave me antibiotics by IV to give me a jump start, took lots of blood to check everything else. She also sent me for a Cat Scan to be sure that there weren't any other issues, and had me wait to get the results. Zwanger actually called my Dr as soon as the results were read and she gave me the results before I left. I would never have gotten this treatment from my regular Dr.s office (Northwell Health) which didn't have a doctor to see me for 3 days Ridiculous!. I am so glad I found them. I whole heartedly recommend this facility. And would not hesitate to come back. read more
