For the past couple of years I had been going to Star Nails in Oakhurst, but aside from my regular technician (who recently relocated), I unfortunately had repeated experiences where the work felt rushed, overly thick, or uneven. I often left feeling dissatisfied, which is what finally pushed me to start looking for another option rather than continuing to settle. I decided to try K Nail Spa, even though it's about 25 minutes away, and I'm really glad I did. When I arrived, I was the only client, and I learned they operate by appointment only, which I appreciated. Dang took the time to evaluate the set I came in with and explained that the previous acrylic had been applied too thick and had started to curve upward. Rather than simply filing them down and risking problems later, he recommended removing the old set and starting fresh so the structure could be corrected. I really appreciated that honesty and attention to detail. He created a new pink-and-white acrylic set with a soft ombré finish and a short almond shape. Most of the appointment was spent carefully placing the acrylic and refining the shape, which resulted in nails that feel light, natural, and well balanced. The final result is elegant and exactly the type of look I was hoping for. The salon itself is run by a husband-and-wife team and has a very personal, small-business feel. If you're looking for a huge spa atmosphere this may feel a bit different, but if your priority is finding someone who focuses on doing careful, quality work, this was a very positive experience. For anyone else in the area who may be searching for a reliable nail technician after losing their regular person, this place was a great find and definitely worth the drive.

All French tips with an ugly pink and the closest thing they had to a navy blue with sparkle. The prices on the wall indicate it should have been $30 for the fill, plus $5 for the French tips. The people at the front desk were friendly but lacked professional spa cadence, it felt more like a public pool. The actual ambience of the spa was that of cheesy amusement park and not luxurious by any means. This would all be okay if the massage prices were not comparable in price to our 4 night stay at a private cabin down the street. The massage itself was decent. Our therapist was nice, professional and knew what he was doing but the ambience was lackluster. The waiting area and massage room felt more like a weed doctor's office than a spa massage room. This place has potential but needs a lot of work. We would not recommend to friends/ family.

It looks bad. I had the lady fix one nail because it looked so bad. But even after she fixed it it still looks and feels all clumpy and thick. My nail polish is already chipped as well. It started chipping two days after my manicure. I have only had my manicure for a little over a week and it looks HORRIBLE!! I definitely wouldn't recommend this place, and I will never go back to this salon to get my nails done again.
