I've been a member for almost 9 months now at Liber8Fit and my only regret is not starting sooner! They offer different types of classes such as circuit training, low impact classes, hybrid classes that include circuit training & yoga, and my favorite class called Guts, Butts, & Cuts. I love that the classes are different every day and the workouts are carefully planned throughout the week. (This is huge to me because I'm no longer wasting time at any standard gym trying to figure out what I'm going to do to work out..which almost always led to jumping on the elliptical for too long and barely touching any weights) Classes are 45 minutes long (1 hour for the hybrid) and offered in mornings and late afternoon into the evening, which is perfect for scheduling when I can work out depending when I have work. I have never felt stronger in my life. I am building muscle I didn't realize I could attain before I joined this gym. The coaches are extremely helpful and once you start going consistently they know just how to motivate/push you/give you heavier weights =) because they can see your potential or just know how much you can probably really lift. Where is the 6 star button? Ive been working out here for the past year or so. I love it, the workouts that Angela the owner puts together are really tough AND really enjoyable. The environment is great in that there are people of all fitness levels in the class, and there is a real camaraderie between all the people working out. For the record I have been on and off working out for the past 25 years, and never more than 2-3 times/week even when I was serious about it. They offer intro specials as that is how I found out about this studio so I like the fact that they allow you to try before you commit to purchasing class packages. Libert8Fit is my favorite gym! I've never known a place to have both circuit training and yoga in the same work out. And I never knew how much I needed yoga until I started working out here! Trainers Alyssa and Angela are so friendly and welcoming. I no longer dread going to the gym, because I know Alyssa and Angela will be there to encourage and support me with my fitness goals. The circuit training by trainer Alyssa is awesome! Each month she has a different routine, that way we aren't working out the same muscle groups every week. Last month we alternated between metabolic conditioning and strength training. A few months ago, the work outs were split into cardio days and strength training days. It doesn't matter what the work out is, I always end circuit training feeling exhausted (in the best way possible). What's nice about the hybrid classes (circuit training + yoga) is that after circuit training, I don't just walk to my car feeling ready to pass out from the exercise. Instead, we go right into yoga with trainer Angela, where we stretch out our muscles and focus on our breathing. Because of yoga, my muscles are not as sore or tight after strength training days. I absolutely love the yoga because it relaxes me but also pushes me and my flexibility. (Just the other day, I did my first headstand!) Overall, Liber8Fit is one heck of a gym! I can't recommend this gym enough! I was in a big need of a lifestyle change when my fiancé found Liber8Fit. I came in out of shape and looking to get healthier. The classes are hard, but they are built to fit all levels of fitness. The coaches are great at making sure you're pushing yourself but keep it very light and pleasant. The other gym goers are all very nice and supportive. You never feel judged for how you're doing or what you're lifting. After seven months of going to Liber8Fit, some diet changes and a "Summer Shred" challenge that brought it a dietician to help you build a plan based on your goals, I lost 40 pounds. My resting heart rate is the lowest it's ever been and I feel great. It happened slowly over time, but one day I realized I wasn't quite dying every day in the classes! I found out about L8F through a friend who purchased their groupon. I love circuit training because I'm a fan of structure, so I went ahead and got the groupon as well. I'm now in my 3rd month of membership, and can only say the best things about this place. Alyssa and Angela know their shit. They're professionals in their fields, and I love that they not only are good at what they do, but they also make it fun for everyone else. Circuit training, HIIT yoga (which is a game changer, btw), a hybrid circuit/yoga class...they do it all. And I have never regretted going to any of their classes- yes, even the ones at 530am. What keeps me happy here is the variety of workouts- they change their themes monthly, so you're always trying new things. And what keeps me coming back is the sense of community. I cannot stress enough how awesome it has been to meet some really great people here. Not only that, but we regularly will have outings for hikes, beach bootcamps, and we've even done the Alzheimer's walk. I cannot say enough amazing things about Liber8! Alyssa and Angela are so passionate about helping you achieve your goals and they are so welcoming to anyone who enters the gym. I immediately felt like part of the "fit fam" at my very first class and they really do all they can to build a sense of community among the members. Aside from partnering up for some of the workouts and cheering one another on, they also coordinate free events outside of the gym to bring people together, such as ultimate frisbee at the beach, hiking Cowles Mtn, a trip to Six Flags, etc. Getting to know others at they gym has been wildly helpful in keeping me motivated and held accountable. As far as the classes go, they will kick your butt!! The workouts are always different and incorporate strength training and cardio in a way that makes it fun, yet exhausting. The coaches really care about you pushing your limits and it feels as if it's a small group personal training session without the usual astronomical prices that you'll find elsewhere (ahem, F45!). One of the best classes is the Hybrid8, which is a strength training boot camp followed by 30 minutes of yoga. I love the aspect of getting both workouts back to back and, believe me, after the boot camp you certainly need it! Also, the HIIT Yoga class is different and unique - a great way to start the morning if you're interested in the 5:30am classes :-) If you're not sure it will be for you, you can't beat their special of 8 days for $8 to try it out. read more

So I did my two week trial of unlimited classes about 9 months ago and I have been hooked ever since! I have never paid for any gym or fitness class membership because I never thought it was worth it, but this place definitely is! The trainers here are the best. Angela is an amazing trainer and an incredible yogi. The hybrid classes consist of about 40 mins of high intensity circuit training and after just 15-20 mins of yoga, I feel so zen and am about to fall asleep. Great gym! You can tell that the owners are really passionate about their establishment, their clients' practice, and the drive to improve overall health. The owner/trainer walked me around the studio. We did a pretty intense warm up, followed by the circuit training. We partnered up and completed an AMRAP for 11 minutes, with a break, followed by another 11 minute AMRAP. They also offer a combined HIIT class with restorative yoga which I haven't attended. My favorite class is the Hybrid (9:00 am and 6:30 pm), which offers both HIIT and yoga in one class. The HIIT kicks your butt and then yoga keeps you grounded and centered (it almost, almoooost makes you forget about getting your butt kicked in the first 45 minutes).
