He is 4, has a very hard time sitting still, is very playful & is easily distracted (but he really does want to do well.) All the master instructors & assistants are patient, lead by example & go above & beyond for my son. Master Jin however, is my son's favorite & has truly made an impression on us! He engages with him, motivates & influences him to focus & succeed by acknowledging his needs & helps him build confidence in the best way possible! He is a great leader! The classes are taught largely in Russian. My son is 100% gringo but a near-fluent Russian speaker. Any child or adult can take these classes; English as necessary. What I like in particular is the 100% confidence the kids have with the 3 Sensei. Quasimodo would progress quickly with this training regimen; its that good. No fool around, no coddling but total encouragement. Heavy focus on flexibility. Heavy hand to hand combat focus. This is not a chain-business, cookie-cutter training approach. Pays off when you see your kid win at the international judo competitions in which Kara Judo often participates.
