This medical center looks a lot better than what it used to look like. I haven't been here in…read moreawhile but stopped by on the request of another medical center. I walked up and of course, the receptionists were busy chatting it up amongst themselves. (No surprise there; some things never change) They weren't on the phones or talking to any other patients. Finally one turned and acknowledged I was standing there. I don't know what it is about this place, but the receptionists always have an attitude and helping you is like you're wasting their "chisme" time. I remember awhile ago, there were about two or three male employees who were friendly and helpful. Heard through the grapevine that one transferred because he was tired of all the cattiness and drama between the female employees. The two extra stars are for the doctors. I've only seen Dr. Dawn Lewis and she's amazing. She answers all your questions and doesn't make you feel rushed. I've heard good things about the other doctors as well. Too bad the receptionists make a bad first impression.

I don't know his name because he never introduced himself and his name badge was turned so you couldn't see his name. I got in quick but it was a waste of my time and money. I already know what I was prescribed won't work.

Doctor Patel I'll give him 3 out of 5 for having a horrible PA(physician assiant) his practice, she…read moremakes him look bad! This rating is for Patricia King PA. My mother has been going to Patels practice for some time now back when MD King had practiced there. Doctor King retired due to medical issues which is when PA Patricia stepped in(MD Kings wife), she would do my mothers annual check up's, so my mom was comfortable and confident in her. Patricia is recieving a poor review due to poor malpractice and misdiagnosis with my mother, my mother had a massive 4lb tumor in her stomach and Patricia's diagnosis was, "the change of life" (menopause), my mother's leg was going numb she diagnosed it varicose veins and the rubbing of her pants (Wow) my mom has no varicose veins btw. From what I understand from others including Patels staff there has been a few misdiagnosis under her care, thank God my mother's tumor was benign she had been carrying it for 3yrs., if it were caught earlier she would not have needed to be cut from hip to hip but could have had it taken care of microscopically . I pray that no one has loss(death) behind this poor practice from Patricia I want to warn others! Ask for a second opinion if you feel uncertain or schedule with an actual MD.

I have been a patient of Dr. Patel's for a little over a year…read more First thing I did was an intro visit, followed by a routine annual physical exam visit. Dr Patel was fine, not exceptional but he listened to my concerns and advised adequately. His office, however, for reasons unknown, entered codes for the physical exam visit that did NOT correspond to a routine physical. As a result, even though there was no real treatment involved, my rather expensive insurance billed us for about $250 for an annual physical that should have been covered completely by insurance. My very attentive wife complained to the office--after THREE in-person visits to the office, they corrected the coding inputs to show a routine physical, and my insurance covered all of the costs. Fast forward one year, again i called in for a 'routine annual physical'. Again, as before, I had blood drawn for the testing he ordered, and i showed up for my appointment for a routine physical. Decent experience with the doctor. Then, sadly, again, my insurance billed us for about $280 of costs for an annual physical that should be COMPLETELY FREE under my expensive health insurance---according to my health insurance office. Again, my wife is trying to work through the process to get this corrected; but it is simply, plainly and totally UNACCEPTABLE for this situation to recur. I blame the front office rather than Dr Patel for this repeated error; but it is unacceptable for this to occur once, let alone twice. I will be changing doctors, not because I dislike Dr Patel (who I consider competent), but because his front office has proven to be incompetent, and the cost of their incompetence gets paid by us, either by paying for overbilled healthcare costs (I pay over $1000/mo for health insurance; then in spite of great insurance that clearly says it covers basic preventive medicine, we got billed for over $250/yr--for a second time), and then having to fight with the office to correct billing codes that Patel's office are obviously entering incorrectly. Presumably they use the wrong code for their own benefit, because we complained to them the first time and they corrected it--after we went to the office THREE times...and my insurance paid for everything. I presume they must benefit from screwing us, or it would not have occurred again! Fool me once, shame on me; fool me twice, shame on Patel's office. I am leaving this Doctor because of this recurring issue, that tells me their front office is not paying attention to me, the patient. A doctor cannot be any better than his front office, and this one failed us two times out of two. Game over.

Yelp Review for Dr. William Hovick's Office…read more **1/5 Stars** If you're looking for a doctor who actually listens, cares, and follows basic medical protocols, **this is NOT the place for you.** When I first visited this office, I was dealing with **severe, cyclical inflammation and pain** that left me **debilitated for two weeks every month.** I was actively seeking answers and relief, but instead of being seen by **Dr. William Hovick himself**, I was assigned a **nurse practitioner** who, to put it bluntly, seemed more like a **part-time clown than a medical professional.** After explaining my symptoms in detail, his response? **"Boy, you have a lot wrong with you."** - Really? That's the kind of dismissive, unhelpful comment you'd expect from someone completely unqualified--not from someone responsible for patient care. Despite my **clear and serious symptoms**, his only "insight" was that I was just **"getting old."** No real investigation, no concern, just an outright refusal to acknowledge that something was seriously wrong. Then, after **handing me a sample of Voquezna (a new stomach medication at the time), they FAILED to record it in my medical file.** Could you imagine if I had an allergic reaction and they had no record of what they gave me? That's basic medical malpractice right there. For **two years**, I **begged** for a referral to a specialist. They dragged their feet, ignored my concerns, and only after persistent pushing did I **finally** get referred. Now, under a specialist's care, I'm on **Celebrex and Sulfasalazine, and my pain levels are significantly improved.** So much for it being "just old age," huh? **Fast forward to today**--I was **8 minutes late** to an appointment due to road construction **right in front of their office** (which they should be aware of), and they **acted pleased to tell me that the "doctor" had already left.** Clearly, they **prioritize rigid scheduling over actual patient care.** ### **Bottom Line:** **This office is a perfect example of everything wrong with the healthcare system.** **They don't take patient concerns seriously, they fail at basic record-keeping, and they act dismissive instead of diagnosing real conditions.** **If you actually care about your health, find a doctor who does too.** **Avoid this place unless you enjoy being ignored, belittled, and misdiagnosed.**

I was applaud to see the staff being treated so poorly by the providers! They are people who are trying their best. Shame on you! The hateful remarks and tone that the receptionist had to deal with by her boss was absolutely ridiculous! How is this person allowed to treat patients? Who refers to their staff as "people like you"? I will absolutely find another place. I don't deal with racists!!!!
