The type of care was great. The quality of care was great, and the office experience was very professional.

Brought my mom in as she was septic and the ER staff was amazing but once she got admitted to…read more3South the care was no longer there. I watched staff for 4 hours on day one and they would come in and check her vitals and leave but never emptied out her full catheter bag nor offer her water. I finally ended up emptying out the bag at hour 2 and asked the next nurse how often are they supposed to empty it out and she told me "oh just push the call button and we will come". So I guess it's not part of their patient care to check catheter bags unless patient requests for it to be emptied out. Day 2 still in 3South, I came in and her IV machine was beeping and it can be heard in the hallway. It took a nurse an 45 minutes to come and check the IV machine which was not pushing her fluids. Day 3 still in 3South, my mom calls me to tell me she hit her call button and had been waiting about 10 minutes to get help to use restroom but no one came and she ended up soiling herself. I HAD to call to get a CNA to go check on her and that still took another 10 minutes. When the CNA finally comes into the room, she asks my mom "Do you want something to clean yourself?". Ummm, hello she couldn't get up on her own to use the restroom so you think she can clean herself?? Really?? By far the worst care I've seen so far offered by this hospital. I do want to say I am giving it a 3 star as she had a wonderful RN and CNA at night who took really good care of her and my mother made sure to tell me how well they took care of her. Seems like the lack of care is on the day shifts.

Possibly stroke issues. 2 days later, still no MRI or lumbar puncture that was discussed for them to do. He was treated as a stroke patient, with a new medication. Upon release, wasn't even told to follow up with a neurologist. After going to another facility it was determined he had suffered a small stroke.

Terrible experience. I am a registered nurse who cares for patients within this health system, yet…read moreI was unable to receive the care I needed for myself. I visited urgent care for a UTI and was prescribed antibiotics that did not improve my symptoms. When I called back for assistance, I was repeatedly told to follow up with my primary care provider. The problem is that I am new to the health system and do not yet have an established primary care provider, which is the reason I sought care at urgent care in the first place. My urine culture later came back contaminated, and despite ongoing symptoms, no repeat urine test, alternative medication, or meaningful follow-up plan was offered. Instead, I was told that if I was still having symptoms, I would need to return and be seen again for the exact same issue I had been evaluated for just two days earlier. The weekend staff showed no empathy or concern regarding my continued symptoms. As a healthcare professional, I understand that not every treatment works immediately, but I expected better communication, continuity of care, and basic compassion. Instead, I felt dismissed and unsupported while dealing with a painful condition. Urgent care should be equipped to provide appropriate follow-up recommendations when a patient remains symptomatic, especially when the original culture is inconclusive. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed with the lack of patient-centered care.

When I said no they seemed very disgusted and pretty much ended helping me. They told me to purchase over the counter meds and sent me on my way. On 10/3/24 I went to another clinic as I had gotten worse, and they gave me a shot, and had me come back on 10/4 and 10/5 for shots, as I was extremely sick. I would never go to these people again, who appeared to care more about their opinion on the vaccine than my health. I thought I had posted this review in 2024 but did not see it listed, so posting now.
