I booked a lunch and mini golf session here for a birthday with a group of 10 people, and it couldn't have gone better! I intentionally booked an off-hour since I didn't want my big group to get in anyone's way, and opening time on a Saturday worked perfectly. We were seated at a long table in the back that felt as close to a private room as we could get. Appreciated our server being patient with some late guests and checking in on us regularly. I loved the spicy chicken sandwich as much as the first time I had it, and also tried the lamb kheema cheesesteak (delicious) and the masala nachos (HUGE portion). Super reasonable prices for food and drinks here, and still some of the best Asian fusion food I've had with really authentic flavors transformed into classic bar-food dishes. We went to mini golf afterwards and did all 18 holes; I was afraid so much mini golf could get tiring or boring, but we had a blast throughout and played for a good 3+ hours. Some of the upstairs holes were deceptively difficult, but we didn't take it too seriously and honestly it made it funnier. Again, coming at a less-crowded time was a good call as I can imagine a big group being more cumbersome to other guests at a busy time. The place did pick up in the evening right as we were finishing up. Overall, Libertee Grounds is a great place for a meal, drinks, and activity whether it's for a date, friend hangout, or a larger event (I know they do event bookings for particularly large groups). Even though I've played through all the mini golf courses by now, I'd honestly come back just for the delicious food! read more

I had the Kenwood Original and it was good enough for seconds. If you're a beer person, this is a great place to visit. The Libertee grounds if in the area is a must stop! I'm not sure if it's only seasonal ( unlikely) but the downstairs has an entire mini golf course, and it's decorated beautifully. We purchased our tickets online which with each ticket you receive a souvenir class along with one drink to go inside to begin your night. The one member of staff was so attentive and informative I really enjoyed his organization/ presentation skills. I even made sure to tell him! As for the food, I'm not going to lie I was a bit disappointed. We visited on a Thursday evening, it wasn't extremely busy but busy enough and we do wait a while for our food, and mine came out about 10min before my friends did which just isn't ideal. The food overall once it did arrive was pretty unsatisfying honestly. I wanted to really enjoy it because it's just a cool take, but I think the menu items may need a little reworking is all. Came here for mini golf with my gf. Wanted to make a reservation for golf, but apparently you can only make a reservation for food. It's a little deceiving online as they make it seem like you can make a mini golf reservation only if you make a dinner reservation. I got the Lamb Kheema Cheesesteak ($17) to fulfill my Philly cheesesteak cravings. Came with a side of fries. My gf ordered the Tandoori Chicken Quesadilla ($15). Another unique mix for the Tex-Mex quesadilla with the South Asian Tandoori Chicken. Loved the crispiness of the tortilla, the unique tastes, and sauces that comes with it. After dinner, we got onto what we originally came here for. Mini golf in their lower level of the restaurant and is $10 per person. It was really crowded when we started around 8PM. It's 9 holes, which can go by quickly if it's just the two of you. We were doing a lot of waiting because there were a lot of group of 4 ahead of us. Feel free to replay the hole and not feel pressured by the group behind you if you find yourself waiting. If you're okay with waiting, there's darts, corn hole, and other game scattered around the courses while you wait. There's an entire broad game area if mini golf is not your thing or if you're just looking for a chill place to hang out and have a few drinks. Front desk staff smoothly directed us to our table and sat us down. Waitress approached us within minutes to take our orders. We ordered crab rangoon, masala nachos with chicken and peppers, and asian caesar salad. The rangoon and salad were basic and what you expect from any location serving these menu items. Went to this place Sunday Dec 20th, with a group of friends for our yearly Christmas luncheon. The music was very loud & hard rock/heavy metal like, one of my friends asked the manager if he could change the playlist. He told her no, no explanation. I was talking to a very nice young man about the holiday drinks And I asked him about the music selection. He said he would talk to the manager about it. A few minutes later I see a man walking behind the bar, seemingly a manager. I asked him if there was. Anyway. He could mix other music in with the current playlist, just a little more diverse. He said "no, I select the station when I get here in the morning. There are 180 other people here and they're dancing downstairs." I said I'm not asking you to change the entire station but just be a little more diverse. His whole demeanor was negative energy. I asked him. If there was another manager there he said. "I am the general manager". I said oh, OK, and what's your name? Again negative energy he says his name is Norm. He then says "so what am I supposed to do if someone from downstairs comes up and says they don't like the music that you like?" I said you tell them the same thing. You told me that you pick the station. He didn't respond. He just walked away. A few minutes later we were all gathered around the bar, ordering/waiting food and drinks, he asked me. Libertee Grounds is so much more than a super cool mini golf spot. It is a destination for great local beer, incredibly delicious good, and the best Philly vibes of all time. To say I am obsessed would be an understatement. My boyfriend and I have been talking about how we have wanted to check out LG since it opened. This week I decided it was enough talk, it was time to plan our trip. I was excited to see plenty of indoor and outdoor reservations available for Wednesday night, so I booked it immediately. A heads up if you are also looking to stop by on a Wednesday for food, drinks, and mini golf - they have a mini golf league that plays from 6:30-8:30 on Wednesday nights, so you won't be able to get a tee time until afterwards. We arrived at 7 PM, placed our order and then ran downstairs to put our name on the list so we could be the first tee time once the mini golf opened back up again. To eat, we tried the Kimchi Mac and Cheese bites and both types of cheesesteaks. We were also brought a tray of the three most delicious dipping sauces I have ever tried, if I could buy bottles of them, I would. Everything had so much flavor! I would come back to just eat. We all agreed that the Kimchi Mac and Cheese bites were some of the best we've ever had. While some mac and cheese bites can be dry, these were so perfectly creamy and crispy at the same time. My favorite of the cheesesteaks was the lamb version, which shocked me because I often find lamb to be too gamey. It was nice to see they have quite a few vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options on their menu. Our service was very attentive and professional. Once the league had cleared out in the downstairs mini golf space, our server let us know that it might be a good time to get the check and head down, so we did! The downstairs space is beautiful and so well done. There are 9 holes and a bar downstairs. Each hole has cupholders for your glass, which was such a nice touch. Spenser at the bar/check-in space was very helpful in explaining all of their rules, pointing out that they had a small basketball hoop set up for tie breakers. We had a great evening and I can't wait to return! It is a great spot to hang with friends for a few hours, which is so rare to find these days. They follow all the Covid regulations and guidelines with social distancing measures. You can now take drinks down to the mini golf area but you cannot drink it while playing mini golf. So they store it for you in the back until you are done and there is a bar area downstairs where you can order more drinks. Time for golf was given to us 10 minutes after seating and we got to golf about one hour and 15 minutes after we ate. Every single hostess, host, waiters, waitresses, bartenders, staff, so far has been extremely nice and their customer service is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming even on busy days, which they are pretty much all the time on the weekends. I don't know how every single one of them keep a smile especially during the pandemic, so props to them. The actual mini golf course is nine holes, and it took us about 20 minutes to get through it. I wish it was a little longer but I understand that they want to move things along and it is a pretty big establishment considering the space downstairs of the restaurant. There is an incredible outdoor space and inside trivia was ongoing with awesome servers and a stocked bar! I was expecting bar food but the menu was mainly vegetarian and vegan! I always had high anticipation to come here and on Valentine's day I was able to scratch that off my book marked list. I must say me and my girlfriend had a great 1st time experience and will definitely have another date here in the future.
