This is a new carwash in the Clift Farm shopping complex in Madison. They were doing a good…read morebusiness today! Likely due to the drought we are in and the amount of crazy dust all over the place. There's no attendant at the payment kiosk which suits me fine. The payment options were numerous and for some reason it takes 3-4 taps to get your selection to "take" on the touch screen. Grrrrr! I was happy the carwash cost $10 and included ArmorAll tire treatment, because usually adding the tire treatment tacks on several dollars and here it was included in the $10 price. There was one young man working the pre-wash section before you pull into the actual car wash. He did a good job, however, he didn't offer anything such as the car air fresheners you get at some carwashes or some lint free towels. The wash itself was great! It's fun to try a new car wash and cute rubber duckie on the ledge as you exit the wash was adorable. They had adequate vacuum bays and there were no patrons blaring music [thank the Lord!]. I didn't take the time to vacuum. I saved my receipt in case I can use the vacuums in the future on this day's payment. There were no signs indicating that, I'm just basing it on other carwashes in the area. Do try Super Duck! Unlike two other carwashes I did not experience any scratches in my car's paint. YAY! That's a win for sure!

I have a subscription to another car wash down the road. My mother is visiting for the holidays, and she had salt and dirt all over her car. I used that as an excuse to perhaps see what I was missing with this place. I'm not missing much. I didn't get a shot of their menu...but I selected the $25 "ceramic" wash, which is one under their best at $30 and about three better than basic service. I was happy rolling through. Their vacuum area was in good repair and stocked with some limited supplies. That was nice. I drove on home (4 miles away) and took a look. The tires were not shined uniformly. Also, there was water spots on the chrome areas. Not what I expected from a $25 Carwash. Minus one star for price...expensive. Minus one star for being a little difficult to get in from US72. I didn't know if I was headed into Valvoline for an oil change or Ducks to get a wash for a moment. Minus one for the half-way wash and finish. I would have gladly taken it down the road where I have my subscription and it would have been just as much...and look much better. I don't think I will be back here.

Car was towed at 11:25pm after my husband and I left it just a few hours before because we had borrowed a truck to move a piece of furniture only to come back and it was gone. One Walmart manager said they never call to have people towed and certainly not for that short of time. Another manager said, they have a "deal" with Mayhall and "let" them patrol and tow who they want as long as it's not the Walmart employees. This is some insane sketchy BS money making scheme these guys are getting away with and no one seems to care. When we called the police in the Walmart parking lot thinking our car was stolen they had it in the system that it had in fact been towed and gave us the number and address for the place. That was at 5:00pm and when we called Mayhall at that time they said we couldn't get the car until 8:00am the next morning. When we got there they demanded us give them $305 in cash.....we asked to put eyes on the car to make sure our car was actually there because they right off the bat were treating us with the worst attitude and we were raising an eyebrow to why anyone in 2022 is having a cash only business for hundreds of dollars. They REFUSED to let us see our car without handing them cash to then let us know well not only do you need to find an ATM to get cash and bring it back to us but the car isn't even this lot...it's miles away. They want you to then follow them so they can lead you to where it is all the way off Winchester Road. There was yelling and we had to call the cops on them first thing in the morning even tho that was truly no help either. Cops just told us to pay the money and get on with the day. THE most unprofessional so called business I've ever seen and I cannot fathom how they have stayed in business this long. Heads up, and at least you can say you were warned when it happens to you. However, this gas station has an asset that makes this a place to go. Mr. Brian the cashier I encountered today was super friendly and seemed honestly concerned about his customers. He greeted me upon entry with a smile and thanked me for stopping by. This man certainly ought to be a trainer as he sets high goals to ensure customer satisfaction. Nice job Mr. Brian. OH and BTW the station was clean and inviting, but the service is what sets it apart.

The "Open" sign WAS on when I pulled in - but when I walked up to the door it turned off and the clerk who WATCHED ME DRIVE UP TO THE PUMP disappeared. No note on the door/no explanation of ANY KIND. Just locked and unwelcoming. I stood outside for 10 minutes trying to find the contact Info and finally walked back to my car. As I DROVE OUT OF THE PARKING LOT, THE OPEN SIGN TURNED BACK ON AND THE LIGHTS AT THE PUMPS TURNED ON. So as soon as we got off work we went to the place she bought her battery to get a diagnostic reading which stated "bad charging system". Luckily, we were next door to Tire Discounters so we rushed over to see if they could replace her alternator that night because she lives almost an hour from this area and didn't feel confident she'd make it home. We walk in with a new alternator and ask if they can replace it. One guy said they could replace it but it wouldnt be tonight since it was about 5:15 and they close at 6pm. We understood but felt so defeated. I asked if they thought she'd make it to Scottsboro with a bad alternator and one guy said not likely. the other guy, Jacob, said he would go check her output to see what the reading was to help gauge whether or not she should attempt the long commute. once Jacob got the reading he began looking for her alternator to see how hard it would be to get to. After he assessed everything he said he wanted to go ask the other guy a question real quick so we followed him inside. After Jacob spoke to the other guy, he came to the counter and said he was going to put the new one on and said it will be done around 6pm. Jacob went above and beyond to make sure my friend made it back home that night. He was kind, courteous, and fast. Jacob didn't have to do what he did, especially being as close to closing time as it was, but he took great care of us! GO SEE JACOB!
