Barely made it to Liberty right when they were opening Monday morning, immediately hooked up the computer, diagnosed and had a transmission ordered that day after working with the company providing my extended warranty. Transmission came in Tuesday and was completely installed Wednesday before noon. Drove 10 hours to Colorado not one issue! Unbelievable! Crazy fast service from a great team. I was pulling our trailer around the Southwest and my fuel filter light came on. I was out at breakfast and asked some locals who was an honest good mechanic in the area. One of the patrons said Liberty Auto in town. Kyle the owner was there when I got there around 3:00 on a Friday. He mentioned they were not open on Saturdays and the earliest he could get me in was Monday morning. Kyle let me know what the cost (very fair pricing)would be and when I showed up on Monday morning, he took care of it first thing. My van had to be towed to Page following a visit to the Grand Canyon. AAA recommended Liberty Auto for repairs and I could not have been more pleased. Paul quickly diagnosed the problem, repaired the van and had us back on the road within 36 hours. Everyone at the shop was so helpful. Our car died 16 miles from Page on the way in for a weekend visit. AAA towed it to Liberty Auto. I called them first thing Monday morning fully expecting we'd have to drive back to Phoenix in our rental car and come back the next weekend to get our car, amazingly, they looked at it right away and had it fixed and ready to go Tuesday morning (I think they finished at around 4:30 on Monday, we didn't want to take our chances doing that drive at night.) Had my transmission go out while on a family road trip. Got towed to this shop for a transmission replacement. I had requested the rear main seal to also be replaced, on the engine, since it is exposed when transmission is removed. It is literally a $40 part.... Well, they either did it wrong or didn't do it at all, so now a local shop needs to remove transmission to replace the seal at a cost of $800.... Disappointing to say the least. read more

We brought our car in after our compressor went out (no AC) on the way to Page from CA. We waited a week and paid $1000 to get it fixed. We had the car back in Cali for just a year and the compressor went out again. When we brought it into our mechanic out here he told us with no doubt this was a refurbished compressor - we now have to pay another $1000 to get a NEW one put in. Their service was great and their pricing was fair IF THEY HAD PUT IN A NEW PART. Don't recommend. read more

Been meaning to write this for a long time! They saved our summer road trip (NY to Cali) this past July! Our fuel pump bit the dust while in Page visiting Antelope Canyon. The staff at Liberty got our vehicle running again and made a great suggestion to rent a car from the local Avis to continue our trip without having to alter our plans while they replaced our pump (which they expressed in from Phoenix). We were able to visit the Grand Canyon and come back to Page and get our vehicle back ready to go! We were able to finish our trip without any further problems! We had the car towed to Liberty Tuesday about 3 pm, and they were able to look at it and give us an estimate and order the parts before they closed at 5, with a promise the repair would be done by end of business the next day, Wednesday. They were true to their word, even staying past closing time to get the job done, And the price was less than their initial estimate. This review is about 2 months late. Back in May me and 3 best friends since childhood took a girls road trip to Page...Had great plans all lined up, but before we even got there the car died. Got a tow through AAA...about 75 miles. Our tow driver referred us to Liberty Auto. It turns out that when "Girls just wanna have Fun"...(LoL)...they need to check the oil first !..... You guessed it...completely ruined the engine and needed a whole other one. I was so nervous being in a strange town and all, but Paul was so honest (some things you can just tell) and truly concerned about us girls. I ended up putting my trust in them, and I'm glad I did. Yes a rebuilt engine is pricey, but what was I gonna do? The car wasn't even paid off yet. I sure couldn't afford to tow it back to Pagosa Springs to my mechanic. 9 days later my husband went and picked up the car for me.....and it has been driving like a dream ever since. When I told my mechanic at home what had happened, he said I got a Very Fair Price. Bottom line is....If you have car troubles, Liberty Auto is the place to go.
