We took my sons umpire pants in to get taken in and hemmed up last week. Anthony the guy was on the counter helped us out. He told us they would be ready by Friday the 17th. Went to pick the pants up and they weren't done. Anthony was going to have his seamstress come back in and do those pants to honor the date he told us they were going to be done. I told him there was no need to do that let her have her weekend I will pick them up next week. I told him we were good will pick them up next week. I got a call at 9:30 this morning it was Anthony from liberty cleaners informing me that the pants were done and then we can come pick them up this morning. I will call what he did above and beyond customer service. I'm forever grateful that he got the pants done for us. This is MY DRY CLEANER SPOT! I have been going to Tony for 5 years now and I will NOT change cleaners! I pass 2-3 cleaners just to get to him and it's well worth it! Tony and his staff is always friendly with kind smiles! Alterations, blankets, missing button, dry cleaning, my wife and I have brought it all to Liberty! Had a very bad experience with these cleaners. Took a vintage dress in for cleaning. The dress had jeweled buttons and a jeweled clasp. I was under the impression that dry cleaners are there to clean garments that need special care!! The jewels were missing from the buttons and the clasp was ruined when we picked it up. The person in the store showed us the sign that stated they don't take any responsibility, he had bad attitude and was completely unapologetically. This dress has been dry cleaned before and we have never had a problem. read more

As an example, I have a motorcycle jacket that after years the velcro closure around my neck kept coming undone and being a winter jacket decided recently to have it fixed now that it's summer. He could have called me to tell me there was a problem. Never did! There are plenty of cleaners on every corner in Simi Valley. I and family members will never go back again. I would Not recommend Liberty Cleaners to anyone!! I took my favorite sweater to get cleaned again, I went to this cleaners for convenience and a coupon. I was shocked to see my sleeves were stretched to my knees. The owner said, " No Big Deal-roll them up... my alteration person will just cut them off and fix-it." After the third trip, I was upset with how the owner's attitude towards a customer was not professional handling this incident. My $80 sweater is not the same sweater with the sleeves cut-off. The owner had No apology or compensation, but said, I was a rude customer. Be aware of a coupon and learn by my mistake regarding this poor service. read more

On December 7, 2015, I have provided Liberty Cleaners 2 shirts for laundry and Iron and 2 jackets for dry cleaning. I was told that the price would be $1.75 per shirt and $4:35 per suit plus taxes. However, when we picked it up they overcharged me. They charged $15.70 (including taxes) Moreover, when I saw that my shirt now has a stain. I called the owner, Tony on December 8, 2015 and explained the matter. He told me to bring the shirt so he could inspect the damage but was not willing to adjust the price. On December 11, 2015, I went to see the owner at 1 pm but to my surprise he said will not do anything about the stain also, I told him that can remove the stain at least since I paid him for both laundry and iron and this stain was caused by his poor workmanship. He refused by saying do whatever you want. Hence, I am posting this review and also filed a complained with BBB. read more

Joes Cleaners was shutting down so I took my cleaning to Liberty Cleaners on a Sat and was helped by Tony's wife, Pam, who was a doll. Returned two weeks later to pick up an almost $300.00 worth of clothes, and was told it had already been picked up. Panic set in and Tony, the owner, insisted the ticket wasnt on the rack. Frantically, I called my husband to inquire if he had picked them up without informing me. When he said no, I went back in and insisted that they were still there. Bad thing was, I forgot my ticket. While Tony was busy arguing with me about the cleaning not being there, I took the LIBERTY, LOL! to look over the rack of tickets and saw my name on one!!!! Really? I dont even work there and I found my ticket in two seconds which was less then the time Tony took to argue and insist my cleaning was not there!!! Then he back paddled and said I needed my ticket at all times because he did not remember me! Hello? Thats why you look on the rack for the ticket with my name on it!
