It was not alteraton but transformation because I am short and skinny for any standard one size uniform for the most of time. The results is amazing and beautiful. I was looking for a dry cleaners in the area and found this gem on Yelp. I live in Moorpark so I need to find a local spot instead of heading down to Oxnard. The owner took my pieces on a Monday morning, which included a 2 piece suit, dress shirt, a long dress and a short dress (my husband and my wedding attire lol). He said it can be ready by 4pm on a Thursday and gave me 2 return tickets for the items. It's Friday morning and I come by to pick up the clothes. The lady had all my pieces collected and ready to go. For about ~$55, everything came out packaged clean and pressed. My main concern was the red wine stain on the short dress and it looks brand new. Everyone here was very nice and I'll have to bring more clothes here since it looks like they might offer tailoring too. Thank you! :) Also, don't bring your nice hanger or clothing zip-up pouch if you don't care about it. When a customer calls the store for pricing, and you verify the price when you bring your clothes in, don't change the price of cleaning the garments when it's time to pay. I had this experience. I was told one price, and when I picked up my garments they charged me a different price much higher. The items were not starched, and not looking pressed as I had expected. The items looked very limp, which doesn't look like business worthy attire. read more

I've been going to this dry cleaners for over 10 years and have always had a great experience. I'm writing this review now because I recently had some trickier alterations done for the first time and was worried they might not turn out quite the way I hoped. To my pleasant t surprise they were done to perfection. Yet another testament to the great service here and I thought they deserved recognition. I was surprised to read another recent reviewer complain about misquoted pricing. I have always found them to be reasonable and fair and can only imagine that they would be willing to work out any misunderstandings that may have occurred. Wish I could recommend, but can't. Not professional or reliable. Dropped off an item for repair and went back the day she said, and it wasn't ready. I went back on the second date she said it would be ready and she said it wasn't ready and she had to have the shoe repair man fix it, which wouldn't be for a few more days. I returned a third time on the date that she said it would be ready and the item was done so poorly even she was surprised. I left again to return a few days later and it still wasn't repaired. I ended up taking my item elsewhere after 2 weeks of back and forth. Maybe if you have a simple dry clean need for something low in value, but otherwise sadly can't recommend. read more

Alterations are good, but get a set price in writing beforehand. I dropped off a pair of pants to be hemmed. Was told $11. Ok, only $1 more than the last time (last year) I had them hem something for me, so no big deal. When I picked them up, a different lady helped me (not the one who took the order initially) and she charged me $12. Again, not a HUGE deal, but a little unprofessional that they don't have set prices and stick to them. So get them to write the price on their/your receipt. In the end, the lady was nice and honored the $11 price. read more

I used to come here all the time, but my last visit was completely AWFUL! I needed TWO dresses hemmed for a wedding I was in. I dropped the dresses off three weeks ahead of time. They kept pushing back the pick-up date and when I finally got to pick them up (4 days before the wedding) both dresses STILL had safety pins in them and neither were altered. The owner argued with me saying that they were altered and even after trying them on in front of her showing that no alterations had been made, she called me a liar and made a huge scene. I left the store only to be CALLED on the PHONE by the owner and harassed some more. COMPLETELY Unprofessional. read more

So after numerous visits of which went well I came in last week to have my brand new Armani sweater dry cleaned. I picked it up went home to try it on and it had completely shrunk. I called the store and spoke to the lady that runs the front desk. I told her my new sweater was shrunk and she said ok please come in and we will take care of it. (Whatever that means) I went in today only to be told it was my fault it shrunk bc I washed it at home. Um no! I did not wash it at home! That's why I sent it in to the dry cleaner!! She insisted I washed it at home and that I was lying. She then called the person who apparently dry cleaned it and he said he can do his best to stretch it out!!! Really!?!? Stretch it out! Wow. Nonetheless I will not be returning here. Don't tell your customers one thing over the phone and then once they show up you blame your customer for YOUR WRONG DOING!!! read more

The owner always pulls my order right up and provides me with exemplary customer service even when others are there. The Lady did an fast excellent hemming, two layed long silk dress. I needed tailoring completed by Saturday because of a big party with my friends. I dropped off the dress at around 6: 00 Friday evening and should picked it up before 3pm on Saturday. I told her I willing to pay more due to rush, She charged only $16 unbelievable cheap price. The Lady working both times I went in was helpful and friendly. The hem was exactly the right height what I want and very well finish done. This Cleaners also has a clean fitting room which made changing in and out of the dress in order to have measurements taken more comfortable/less awkward. They has done a great job over the past few months since I moved to Moorpark. When I brought my dry cleaning, quality has been fantastic. Sometime I did not know my blouse loss a button, they replaced the broken buttons without asking not like other cleaners just leave them. I have been taking my husbands suits shirts & uniforms here for almost 10 years. The turnaround is always 2-3 days without ever asking for a rush. When I walk in I never have to even give my ticket, number or even my name. They remember me and pull up my info to get my items.
