The lady on the phone was rude and unprofessional. I called 2 days ago and never got a call back. When I asked her about not returning phone calls, she became hostile. I was quoted a full package where you get the driving instruction for the written and the behind the wheel. My son completed his written and they wanted to charge me full price for behind the wheel. When I told her I was already a client, and I wanted the full package price ,she got an attitude. They are unprofessionals and rude. I am so grateful we found another company that was kind and professional. I would not recommend this company! read more

Sara the receptionist charged me for all 3 sessions without me approving the charge. She is rude as hell. My daughter did not want to use this company after the way she heard Sara speaking to me over the phone. Sara is the most unprofessional receptionist I have ever dealt with. I had to get the owner involved fo the refund. By the way she charged 3 appointments and we only scheduled one. Skip this place. Owner was responsible but he has to know his receptionist sucks. Maybe she is his wife idk. It is family owned so he probably can't get rid of her. She also sent me another persons certificate that I had to call and ask for. I gave 2 stars because in the end, they did what they were supposed to and we aren't continuing with them (already knew we wouldn't, just needed my teen to have a lesson to get started before we can get in with the other company we're using). However, I wish I would have look at the reviews first; I'm not sure I would have picked this school. The instructor was VERY quiet, so my son had a hard time hearing his instruction while on his FIRST ever lesson; the instructor took phone calls to book a doc appt while giving the lesson; my son felt mis-guided a few times during the lesson when he asked a question about what/how to do something; the instructor physically removed my son's hand from the wheel to show him how to turn properly which seems unsafe; for a FIRST lesson on the streets, I didn't expect them to go on the freeway! That seems like a second or later lesson as it can be stressful. I also have to agree with the reviews involving the office gal; she doesn't seem helpful when being asked questions, like she is annoyed and just wants to end the call. All in all, like I said, they did the job that was paid for, but I'm happy in the end that we will be continuing with another company. read more

Ali, he called my son one day before the appointment during the school hour and asked him to change the appointment time from 4:30 pm to 2 pm. My son is still in high school and school finishes at 3:45 pm. How can he ask my son to be absent from school to accommodate someone else's schedule? My son didn't agree to change the schedule but Ali just changed by himself from 4:30 to 2PM. When my son called back to the mainline of Liberty driving school, the laby said the 4:30 pm time slot had been taken by someone else and we can only reschedule for 2 weeks later. This is not acceptable, I called many times to leave the voice message, and there is no response so far. read more

Unfortunately, this driving school offer very expensive behind ther wheel driving lessons ($320/2hr) while competition charges between $80 to $140/2hr driving lessons. Furthermore, the driving instructor failed to instruct the student (my daughter) properly. On top of this the instructor had the student stop at the gas station to fill up the empty gas tank. Also, the person handling the phone answering service needs to learn to be much more polite. Overall, this driving school is quite expensive, driving instructor is not teaching well and the secretary answering the phone is rude. Your money is better spent elsewhere read more

My daughter's driving instructor was Frmesk. She arrived 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time to ensure paperwork, questions, were taken care of prior to the driving lesson starting. My sons driving appt was today at 10:30 and no one has come by to pick him up. I've tried multiple times calling (619) 749-4845 with the calls going directly to voicemail. I should've known better since my original call was answered by the most rude and unprofessional receptionist (Sarah). I tried asking her questions about the programs they were providing and she made me feel stupid for asking. In the end, I was able to make an appt. and now a no show. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Liberty Driving School was the first place I called to schedule instruction for my teenager. Unfortunately, I canceled my appointment with Liberty solely due to the condescending and impatient attitude of the receptionist Sarah. I have worked in the service industry for 30 years and a customer's first impression of a business is often over the phone. If I spoke to a guest at my job the way she spoke to me I would get a write up. Sarah treated me like an idiot when I wanted to clarify what exactly my student needed in order to get her license. She didn't offer an apology when I told her she was being rude. I contacted their competitor and the difference was night and day-every detail explained in a patient and professional manner. If you are in the East County area I would suggest contacting the other driving school as well before you make your decision. read more

My son completed his online education and we waited almost a month for the certificate which never came. The website states it will be directly mailed to you upon completion of online education however it wasn't. So when I called I was informed that "we wait for you to call us so we can make sure we have the right address." I live close by and informed the lady I spoke to that I would pick it up and that I'd be there within the hour. She said she goes to lunch at 12:00. I said I'd be there well before. Got there at 11:40 the building is unoccupied/ vacant and no one is answering the phone. I was going to use them for my sons behind the wheel hours but will definitely find somewhere else, especially if it this difficult to just get his certificate. read more

I had a great recommendation from a good friend and her 2 kids that went through this company. I was recommended a specific lady that they had a great experience with, which she wasn't available for a full month and a half. But we decided to wait the month and a half for. On Friday when I tried confirming my lesson for Sunday, Sarah the person in charge in the office was short with me when I was asking questions. She seemed irritated and in a rush to get off the phone with me instead of answering my few questions. So I didn't really get any details about what the process would be. It was an awe full experience. Then the person that showed up to pick up my son was an older gentle and when I asked what was going on he had no idea what I was talking about. I felt very uneasy about the whole situation. So I talk to the guy to get a small sense of who he was. I PAID in full with a check and sent my son off for 2 hours. When my son got back the guy just dropped him off didn't talk to my husband or me AND did NOT the sign drivers permit. WHAT?? I got his card but his number was not on it, only the schools number, which they are closed until tomorrow. This whole experience was totally different than my friends. But wow it was horrible! I want to get his lessons done and never think about this company ever again. read more

If you want a cheap way for your child to be signed off on their driving classes, this is fine. But if you want a driving school that teaches your child how to drive, this is not the place. There are basic things that just weren't taught to my daughter, like parallel parking, or really any parking in general. They did drive on the freeway a lot, which I was happy about. Also, each session was supposed to be 2 hours long. The first two sessions she was picked up and dropped off at school, so I do t know if they were late picking her up, but I do know that they were finished at least 15 minutes early. The last session, they picked her up 20 minutes late and finished a half hour early, so she missed almost an hour of instruction that day. read more
