SCAM!!! I have had the same experience with this company as everybody else has. I was lied to on the initial phone call. I certainly believed my initial charge was my total charge. When I requested the dumpster, I received a few text messages requesting that I sign the "contract" before they could deliver the dumpster. I clicked the link in my text on my phone. This brought me to a signature page with no real link to the contract details. I signed because I thought I was just agreeing to the terms discussed on the phone. After having the dumpster dropped off, I wanted to write a good review because the driver was so cool to me. I then saw all these reviews claiming the company is a scam. I was called by a different company stating that Liberty hired them to do provide and haul the dumpster, but stated they don't do it for less that $800 for a 20yd dumpster. my dumpster finally arrived a day late, and was picked up two days late. about a month later, I was charged before even contacting me $1200 for dump fee overage, after my initial payment of $400, and then hounded for an additional $165. I would highly recommend to steer clear of this company as you will be ripped off, and then gaslighted. they truly should be reported to the BBB and contractor board for their practices. read more

Rented a 30yd dumpster for home cleanup. Delivery time was 6am-12pm, it was delivered around noon. Pickup time was 12pm-6pm, it was picked up at noon. Basically cutting out a day of use. Pricing on the site says nothing about per pound charge in the description of the product, that doesn't show up until you add it to your cart, then it says $.15 per pound fee that the dump charges. When you get the bill you find out that is for the full 2 tons that the dumpster can hold. It is listed in the terms and condition, so unless you read it very carfully, you would miss it. They also aren't timely on email responses, emailed them Monday morning to see if I could extend the rental 2 days, and got no response. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!! For one, they are not in St. Louis even though they have a 314 # area code. This is a 3rd party company out of San Diego w/people who do not speak clear English. You are not told that when you call by any means due to you call the 314 # that is on the website. The dumpster was not delivered on the date I requested & was not picked up on the date requested. I had to call to find out where the dumpster was when it was not delivered the day requested, It was 4:50pm CST & the hold info states.."we will be with you in less than one min". Over an hr later I finally hung up. Called the next day to find out they are not in St. Louis, MO they are in San Diego, CA & their 6:00PM closing time is actually EST which is also not stated. The dumpster got delivered, had a completely different name/phone number on it. We were in a rental house, moving to our forever home so I needed this picked up at the correct day due to the landlords demands. It was not, so I tried several times to contact Liberty Dumpster without success so I finally called the number on the dumpster & some guy answered "hello"& was like.."oh...yeah, I forgot. I will be there to get it today." So he did pick it up but then I called for over a month trying to get the "total bill". All the while not knowing they charged my cc already for $266.They finally called & I told them all the problems I had & that the amount they gave me for the "total bill" with the weight, $216 was not acceptable with all the problems. They knocked it down to $173 which I agreed on that being the "total bill". Got the cc days later to see the $266 charge already on my cc. They called for payment, I refused. Told them the issues & I got threatened with collections will ruin your credit. I have over 800 credit score...good luck with that. Point is, do not use them! False advertisement, language barrier, doesn't deliver on date requested or pick up on date requested, unprofessional people & obviously a lot of smoke & mirrors on their "policies". This company (if you can call it that) is a group of liars and thieves. Much like a previous review. I rented a 20 yard dumpster. It arrived on a Friday and was picked up on Monday. Initial fee was $215, after extra fees the drop off cost $311. However, 10 days after pick up I received an email with a charge of $396, with two invoices attached. Neither of the attachments was an invoice with the weight and charges. They sent the initial rental agreement twice . I called the office and talked with billing, she initially told me that my dumpster had 560 lbs in it. I replied well that makes sense for the final billing of $396. I told her that I had already paid $311 for drop off so I should only be getting charged for $85. That's when her story changed and then the weight increased to 2,000 lbs. I replied that's impossible it was a 20 yard dumpster that was 1/4 full with carpet and padding from 1 room and a bathroom sink as well as a few other small household items. After going back and forth, I told her that I would like to speak to a supervisor and she hung up. I have email several times asking for an actual invoice or phone call. No reply.
