I asked one of the workers when they would open. He sent me to the VIP lounge to get my dinner. I ordered some French fries, a house salad and some bourbon glazed salmon. It was amazing. It is very clean in here wasn't cheap but it was well worth it. $24. I will be checking out the games shortly and might even try a few frames of bowling. I am very impressed. The staff were very nice. Super polite. It did not take long for my food to come out either.

We were there for a couple few hours. When we got there, it was low key with the Juke Box supplying the tunes. I paid my $5 to hear a bunch of songs I like while we played 8 ball & some cut-throat too. Later, the door was set up for an entry fee & the stage was set up for a rock band. Down on the main floor, my granddaughter loved learning the magic of being on television. When coming in, if you turned left, you enter the world of life skills and career options. The makeshift grocery store is very realistic and makes it fun for kids to learn to shop and organize. The kids can pretend to work in medical clinics, veterinarian clinics, restaurant personnel (food prep/chef/server), be an astronaut and explore the outer world, firefighter, police officer, lawyer, and/or judge, medical specialist, and more. After a rather stressful weekend I got the treat to attend an afternoon movie. The box office…read moreattendant was less than pleased to be working. I smiled my way into the concession area picked up a snack and made my way to a seat. Finding a secluded seat not sitting next to anyone. Which is kind of nice. The movie began and all way well. Within about 10-15 minutes left for the show a rude staff member comes and makes a large commotion with her hands arrowing me to step out of the theatre. I was frightened by her as she got rather close to my face. I had just received a text message from family notifying me of a medical emergency. I knew to remain calm and was trying to decide what to do. The decision was made for me when I was told to exit. By this point I was shaking, crying and scared. I went and asked for a refund and was going to leave. I was in no position to drive due to the nature of the text I had received and the manner in which I was being treated. The gentlemen at the concession stand were rather empathetic and said they would get help. The help just so happened to be the rude staff member. She not only escalated the situation by yelling at me and telling me that there was to be no usage of lights in the theatre. I tried to explain my situation and even went as far as to offer to allow her to read my texts. She continued to get closer and closer to me and one point even spilling her snack of popcorn at my feet. I asked her to please not get any closer to me as I felt she may physically assault me. Clearly she was not going to make any effort to apologize for scaring me or even the situation I was facing when leaving the theatre. As I walked out she screamed out that I was an idiot. And to think I was so excited about getting to see a movie in a nostalgic theatre. All charm has been lost on me. For what it is worth I apologize for sending a text message and reviewing a message. My phone was on silent and the screen resolution was as dark as I could possibly make it. Hopefully Glenda will review her own actions, somehow I doubt that there will be any accountability for her. For me lesson learned, movies in this theatre apparently come before family. Oh and by the way, I needed a flash light just to find my seat and feet as there are not any guide lights in the theatre. I guess safety of consumers is a low priority for her as well.
