This place is busy. Came here to watch the new Mortal Combat movie but I'm too early so it's not playing. I got the dates wrong. Decided to check out the restaurant, but it was closed. I asked one of the workers when they would open. He sent me to the VIP lounge to get my dinner. I ordered some French fries, a house salad and some bourbon glazed salmon. It was amazing. It is very clean in here wasn't cheap but it was well worth it. $24. I will be checking out the games shortly and might even try a few frames of bowling. I am very impressed. The staff were very nice. Super polite. It did not take long for my food to come out either. read more

I do not recommend this business because they are unethical and are not customer friendly. Because of their poor customer care I discovered that AMC is a huge step up and a much better option for me. A company should always honor their commitments. read more

Had a movie at 6:50. Came early. Stood in line to get refreshments. Finally got helped and served and walked into the theater at 7:15. We had no idea what was going on in the movie because we missed so much of it already. The worst part is, you only had ONE employee at the snack bar working and taking orders. There were at least 10 people in line. I was number four. THEEE other employees were there, however. One changing bags out of trash cans. One walking around pretending to sweep. One unwrapping paper towels behind the counter. These employees managed to do that one singular task the ENTIRE time (25 minutes). Finally a guy in a green shirt (manager?) come and help two separate orders, He then leaves again with half the line still there. You would think if there was a line you would pull others from their current tasks. Seats are uncomfortable, ripped, and old. The floors were sticky. I will not go back here. I'd rather go to one of the two other theaters on Broadway. read more

Worst movie experience of my life. Drunk teenagers, at least three kids under 8 in a rated R horror movie and the girl next to me putting her bare feet in my food. Bathrooms were trashed. The staff doing the best they could but how can you blame the 19 year old running a bar for entitled, trashy people? Understaffed and probably underpaid. read more

I am giving Grand Slam 5 stars today for their great customer service. The ticket machine was easy to operate. The concussions stand attendant was a friendly and informative. Our theater has some issues the projector and lights. You could hear the operator actiactively working to fix the issue. After no luck the manger came in theater address the issue and gave multiple options. This was great customer service and team work. read more

Very friendly staff! First time visitor a few weeks ago- had fun bowling and playing arcade games. Bathrooms were well maintained and overall the place seemed well cleaned and organized. Will be back to catch a movie sometime. read more

Came in to go bowling with my family (husband and two young children). While waiting for our lane we ended up ordering a few appetizers at the restaurant inside, then moved over to our lane once ready. Everything was great up until this point, we begin playing and my 3yo drops his drink (no lid) and we scramble to find our waiter to get napkins and he's no where in sight. So I went into the restroom and grabbed paper towels to dry the area, of course this leaves it sticky so I tracked down an employee walking around with a rag and spray, perfect! Except he walks right past me ignoring me asking for help, I finally get his attention and ask if he can use the spray on the wet seat so we can sit on it. He legit looked me dead in the face with no expression and walked away (said nothing to me) and came back 5 min later with a stack of napkins and sets them on the seat and walks away... okay thanks dude. What's worse, is while I was looking for someone, my husband managed to track down the man who was supposed to be our waiter and asked him for a rag, and he visually rolled his eyes at my husband. So two separate employees at two different times couldn't be bothered to help. We also never got the salsa for our chips and salsa, the ranch that's supposed to come with the fried pickles and never got refills. Only saving grace is the young lady named Ja'Kayla working behind the counter in the restaurant who came and checked on us at our lane a few times. She was great! read more

First, the girls running the desk and bar were great! This review started off as a 3 because of them but by the end of the night it dropped to a one. After an hour wait and paying over $75 for a Lane to get one that is sticky and obviously unclean was ridiculous. We were told the wait was that long so they could have 10 to 15 minutes time to clean. However, the tables were cleaned with what only could have been a dirty sopping wet wash cloth, the floor and seats had drink spills, sticky spots, food smashed in, etc. So they spent all of 1 minute, maybe, to move filth around on the table. Then we asked, on at least 5 seperate occasions over a 2 hour period, for them to come mop and sweep it up and no one ever came. After an hour the score dropped to a 2 but then my friends told me to add rotten meat to the list. They said the wings smelled and tasted as if the meat had spoiled. The cost of the place is definitely NOT worth what you receive in return. Pick anywhere else but here. read more

Went to the first feature of the day on a Thursday, 4 movies were starting at the same time. There was only one person working the concession stand. It was ridiculously slow, ended up leaving the line and going on into the movie with no food or drink. Also can't stand the cashless, human-less ticket machine. Will go to some other theater from now on. read more

Half of the games are out of service or not working properly. Laser tag had to be restarted 4 times and still didn't work great. The restaurant is shut down. No ropes coarse during the week in August. Definitely put a damper on the birthday. Staff tried their best. They were working with what they had. There was only one person working the concession stand when we got there. I asked them if we needed to print our tickets and they said no just show them your phone receipt. No one questioned us. So anyone can just walk in?? Even though the line was long several workers walked by and no one else helped. It seems like it has gone way downhill which is a shame. Only 5 stars because I couldn't give it 6. This place ROCKS! This is an hour from my home and has always been worth the trip. First of all the manager is top notch. He's friendly and nice and polite and caring. He takes the time to recognize us when we come in and makes us feel special. That will always keep me coming back. The food is well prepared and delicious. The services on the lanes are very good. They give you additional time if something goes wrong with the pins not resetting properly or some other issue out of your control. Keep up the good work. read more

Movie theater: chairs are comfortable but they need to deep clean, the cup holders are gross. The worst part is it smelled like someone had vomited, we were in theater 3. I didn't read all the reviews however I did see one from a few months back that also mentioned an odor, saying it smelled like puke. Nice venue. Some of the entertaining options are set to open in January (laser tag, bowling, ropes course). The "restaurant" has an interesting set up, more like a party room. But the nachos were tasty and the crown and coke icee was delicious and a generous portion. The theater was a decent size and assigned seating is nice. Well this is a mixed review. The Positive: The venue is awesome in that it offers a lot of activities for the family and we sure need more of this in Tyler. We've bowled, played laser tag, played the games, and this is our regular movie theater of choice. The popcorn is great, pizza is awesome, service personnel are nice and cordial. The Negative: I had a scary experience with my sons that have a disability. The stone water roofing commercial started with the FCC warning and appeared real and they though we were in danger. I complained numerous times about this, they said they would take care of it, and yet it happened again. However, I have not seen this commercial again this past year. So today.... A rainy October Friday, hubby and I decide to go to a nook showing of Halloween Ends. We buy tickets online, buy $20 worth of food and sit down in an empty theater... ahhh a private viewing! Awesome! Until it wasnt... about 30 minutes into the show the x film stops and the lights come on! Hubby goes out to find out why and we're told their SYSTEM didn't recognize that anyone was in the theater so it automatically turns off the show to save the projector bulbs. So... they verify our tickets, start the show again from THE BEGINNING! We didn't really have time to sit through the first 30 minutes again, nor did we really want to. They had pretty much ruined the show. So we got our tickets refunded after waiting 10 minutes. And I did ask for a coupon or something to compensate for the food. Gave us two free moving tickets. Note to self; don't buy tickets online because to the robot I am invisible! read more

If you're in the Tyler-area, Grand Slam is a pretty neat outing. There's bowling (with huge screens), an arcade with a decent amount of games, a ceiling ropes course thing, bar/restaurant, a coffee bar also, and a movie theater. You can literally spend the day here. I will say the restaurant service is a bit ehh, and they don't give you glasses of water because you have to buy bottled. It's also a little costly for arcade games. But they have tons of food options and you can eat really good meals while bowling too, instead of the traditional nachos and popcorn you find at bowling alleys. It can get crowded though if you go at peak time. Especially the arcade area! read more

I want to give this place more stars. I love these places, the arcade, bowling alley, theater, laser tag. There are a few buts though. #1. While the ticket prices at the theater are nice, the concessions are ridiculous. All theaters are, but this one is pretty bad. Especially the drinks, $4.25 for a 20oz drink, bleh no thx. #2 This one makes me angry. About 1/4 of the games were off or out of service. Not a good business model guys. You want to keep and attract customers? Get things working. Prices for token credits were actually decent. 3. If you're gonna have Happy Hour drinks, make them drinkable at least. Had a margarita and it was gods awful 4. Where the hell are the employees here?! Skeeball machine on the left was two balls short so couldn't finish the game or collect tickets. Looked for an employee to help, damn ghost town. I want to go back, the bowling lanes look great, hopefully the arcade games get fixed and the whole place gets its act together. We saw Indiana Jones in theater 2. The numbers on the seats are worn off. People had trouble finding their seat. The chairs are so old. The bathrooms were very dirty. We could not get popcorn and a drink because the lines were so long. read more

60 percent of the games are broken and most of the ones that aren't try to take your credits without allowing you to play. Crane games purposely have inverted controls to make you lose. Bathrooms were gross all the toilets but two were full of excrement and couldn't flush. The quality of the food in the restaurant is poor and it's heavily understaffed. Our waiter was very nice but he was the only one serving the entire restaurant. Just sad this place was so awesome before whoever manages it has let it go. If we get a Dave and Busters good luck staying open. read more

Dinner and bowling with the entire family. PRO: The food was good and the servers were always available. They did a fantastic job. CON: My concern was the cost. I called to reserve a bowling lane, but I only got a recording which prompted me to make the reservation on the website. I did as instructed and paid $70 per hour booking this way. (Overall, I paid $186.00 for 6 people for two hours - bowling and shoes only) Once we arrived, the posted rate for bowling was $40 per hour. I questioned the staff member who was working at the check-in desk about the price. She told us, $40 is the price if you call to reserve or walk in. Remember, I DID try to call. I feel this practice is dishonest - a $30 dollar difference - for doing what they ask you to do. Again, this is a great place for families. I just don't want anyone else to make the same mistake I did. CALL or wait until you get there. read more

Never ever had a problem here to speak of before now. Just wasted $50 on the bowling. My buddy and me never got to bowl one complete game. Ball return was iffy and slow and finally quit. We pushed button requesting service. 5 mins a rep comes buy. It was Saturday after all. Said he'd get right on. Another 10 mins and another rep comes buy and I shanghaied him. He had a walkie talkie and radioed somebody. Apparently not staff in back. Gave it more time and we finally gave up. Wouldn't be so bad if we paid by the game but this is by the hour folks. Needless to say no more $100 & $50 gift cards from me. Food was good. read more

We brought a large group of 15 people to have fun bowling. The lanes and balls were nice and well maintained however, the bowling shoes were awful! The rubber heels were worn and parts were missing. The replacement shoes were not much better. Several people had to exchange them. This was an obvious problem in maintaining the upkeep of the shoes. read more

The managers here are dumb. They won't let people use their GOVERNMENT issued paper I.Ds for drinks because they want the Hard copy. Even an underage kid can make a hard copy fake ID so what does it matter. Law is, I. D if they look under 30, and they say " we iD evEn iF yOu LoOk 60" head as. This place is just a money racket. The food is mediocre at best. We came to bowl for my son's birthday with a few friends. We started ordering drinks and myself and one if our guests wanted water. Mind you we already ordered 5 sodas and were ordering appetizers so we were not just getting free water. We were told by management that the only water you can get in the bowling lanes is bottled. If you are in the restaurant you can get a glass of water but only bottled water in the bowling lanes. This just screams money hungry to me. This place is already expensive and makes a ton of money. I came here to spend money but not being able to get refillable water in the bowling lanes is just ridiculous, especially when you are already ordering food and other drinks. read more
