DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!! My check engine light came on 3 weeks after purchase. Amy sent me to her mechanic at US Trans a few doors down from liberty. The mechanic said his diagnosis test indicated there was something wrong with my catalytic converter. He also said it could be the catalytic, could be gas or a number of things. Amy instructed her mechanic to turn off the engine light and tell me to come back if it came on again, which it did. Since I only had a 30-day dealer warranty, Amy told me I was responsible for fixing the problem. Even though her mechanic never fixed it in the first place. She had him send me away to make time pass so my warranty would expire. read more

I bought my car....less than a month later I couldn't move it. Bare with me...When we were going thru the paperwork. I knew 100% that I signed and the dealer signed a warranty. Now somewhere through the paperwork process my warranty disappeared. (3 month/3000 mile warranty...can't make this up). Now when the car completely breaks down a month later. I can't find the warranty and I call the dealer. They somehow don't have it. After "making efforts to look for it" they call me back and tell me, they, nor do the bank that's funding my loan, offer warranties. This review is about "Liberty Auto" I'm very disappointed. My husband went over there to purchase a car and they charged us $1000 for tag and title transfer. Then they tried to charge us $140 for the second set of keys that every car should get after purchasing a car. My husband and I are very upset. We have been taken advantage of. This is the second time they pulled this on us. They did the same thing 2 years ago when i purchased our first SUV from this business. Pretty soon people will catch on to their scam and go elsewhere. Last but not least, they sold us a car with 4 Bold tires and one set of keys. My husband is just about paid in full with $1000 tag and transfer. It's a nice car don't get me wrong there. My husband traded in his other car which was sold. Why didn't they use the money from the sale of his old car and put it to towards the $1000 tag & title transfer and or keys. My husband got a Suburban from this "company" September 2019. My Husband and his male friend went down to get the truck. It's about a 2 1/2 drive from where we are located. They said they can hold the check for tags and title for up to 60 days. So my husband wrote the check for the tags, signed all the paperwork and left. My name is on this loan and no one from this company bothered to fax, email or even call to see if this was okay. So today I called because they deposited the check for the tags way ahead of the promised 60 days and questioned how they gave my husband the authority to sign my name on all the paperwork? I would have appreciated the right to at least e-sign the loan papers. All I wanted was an answer as to why. The so called "owner" said that maybe my husband was cheating on me and brought in a girl that looked just like me to sign my name and to not call her business anymore!?!?!?! I'm still in shock that an owner of a company would ever speak to a customer like that! She said I was blackmailing her loan officers too! Well I did call them and make them aware that none of that paperwork has my signature on it. She is the most unprofessional person I ever spoke to. Would never deal this company again. I wish I could give negative stars. Traded in my car for an Escalade from them. Had some minor stuff that needed to be fixed - the middle seats needed the side plastic covers and the one headlight kept going out (which we fixed). The guy told us he would find us the middle seat covers but we didn't push that or the headlight issue since the buying process went smoothly. So, the buying process was fine (why wouldn't it have been thou since they're making money from it) it's everything that happened after that's a MAJOR issue. Whatever the woman's name is there (who is a straight liar) is the issue. Bought the truck and gave them all the info they needed to register the truck. Well, I switched insurances about a 2 months after getting the truck (you have 90 days to register & they clearly wanted to wait until the last minute. The woman called me numerous times while I was at work, I kept banging the calls since I didn't know the number but finally on the 5th call I picked up and she tells me the truck is completely illegal, if I get pulled over I'm going to get in trouble since it's not registered to me and it's still in their name. I am at f*cking work so I start getting nervous - I call my bank to see if they received the title (since my bank contacted me about 2 weeks before this happened saying they had not received the title) and they STILL did not have the title. So, now I'm getting worried this woman calls and tells me the truck is not registered to me and my bank does not have the title. She told me they sent it to Harrisburg and it was kicked back. Well, I get my boyfriend involved bc they want my current insurance and I'm getting texts from these people saying "what's the issue we need your insurance" like the f*cking issue is you wanted to wait until the last minute, flip on me and make this my issue when the owner (woman) is INCOMPETENT! So, I just dealt directly with their title guy who said this is the first time seeing anything about this (even tho the woman told me they already tried to send this to Harrisburg and it was kicked back - she just never sent it and straight LIED) and had everything expedited bc I'm not playing their games. Well, now bc the woman wanted to make a big deal over something that's their issue and LIED about it so now I pushed the issue with the seat covers. The guy (her husband) said he would get them for us - well said he couldn't find them anywhere - I called up the first Cadillac dealership and they just have to order them, they're cheap, too. The guy said they would cover it but we are trying to get a check from them and the woman asked to split the price LOL NO like NO, the f*ck, yous said you would get them for us. The last time we called, she picked up and we asked for the guy bc we need to pick up the check for the seats - he said he would have it for us. Well, she puts us on hold and then comes back and says he's not there LOL like you just had no idea he wasn't there?! RIGHT. The games this liar of a woman plays is ridiculous. I would have NEVER done business with them if I knew this is how it was going to be. I'm not sure why this woman is involved in anything - she's the f*cking worst. Still don't have the check for the seat covers either, even though it was promised to us. I will now add that they've seen my reviews and the woman called up my bf mad this was posted.
