The room was nice and features your typical Hampton Inn ammenities. Once we arrived in the room we noticed the mirror at the desk had a small crack in it, so we went to the front desk to immediately report it. We didn't want a mirror to end up on our folio. We also grabbed a key for my wife, since she rather not use the app. The front desk was very efficient in getting us another key and making sure the mirror was logged. They also gave me a bottle of water, a very nice little touch, especially since they put your name on it. After taking my Yelp pictures for the room, we settled and for the night. The AC worked well, it kept the room at a comfortable temperature without being too noisy. This room has head head of the bed against the bathroom wall, which makes your feet point towards the window. I think this is great as both people get the effects of the AC and one person is not freezing since they are next to it and it helps you hear less noise from your neighbors. My only complaint is then the TV, it make it a little awkward to watch TV if you are the one is who is further away from it. No big deal, we only flipped it on for a few minutes. It is also worth noting that this property does not have your typical Hilton TV system, it is just Direct TV. I noticed the lounger in the room was pretty ditry, and neither of us chose to ever sit on it. Not sure why hotels still us fabric loungers and desk chairs, they get so dirty. The bathroom was clean with the exception of a couple of small mold spots in the shower and a rusty toilet paper holder that refused to hold a roll of toliet paper. It is probably about time to replace that. Also, I was waiting for the counter in the bathroom to fall of the wall. I could the angle it was at and the cracked caulk along the back edge. Looks like someone may have sat up there and it was not ready for that events that took place on it. Luckily that didn't happen while we were there and it did not impact our stay. What was frustrating though was hoping in the shower the next morning. After washing my hair, and putting in some conditioner in, I went to pump some body wash/gel. To my surprise that bottle was bone dry, it could not have been more empty. Well, that day I bathed with shampoo. Not the end of the world, just really annoying. When I got down to the lobby for breakfast I did stop by the front desk to ask for soap and they were able to have a member of housekeeping grab a bottle for me. We headed down for breakfast. It was your standard Hampton Inn breakfast. There was coffee, eggs, a meat choice, waffles, juice, cereal, yogurt, and fruit. I am sure I am forgetting something, but you get the picture. Breakfast was good and filling. Another item to note is that during our stay only one of the two elevators seemed to be in use. So anytime you needed yo use the elevator, you had to wait. Also, the vending and ice machine for level 4 only consisted of a ice machine that was not on. All in all we didn't have a bad stay, I just feel like some of the smaller details need to be looked at and addressed.

Not just the floors. Everything !!!! I opened the door, it smelled like cigarettes. I booked non smoking. I went back to the front desk. She said all the other rooms were booked. I went and brought air fresher. I get back and see the fridge and microwave. I really wanted to heat my food. I didn't. I removed my drinks from the fridge. The ice box was filthy. The tv remote was sticky even after I sanitized it with the Lysol wipes . The shower got hot. That was a plus. I was afraid to stand on the shower mat. I just was. I checked the bed. I'm gonna pray for a good nights rest. I'll update this review on Tomorrow.

Quality Inn Waynesboro, GA…read more DO NOT book a reservation at this Quality Inn Motel. Big mistake on our part!! Checked in and checked out within a matter of minutes. Lesson learned...do not go cheap on a hotel, even for one night. These pictures should speak for themselves. This hotel was disgusting, the furniture was stained, the door was broken, the television was broken( unless you want to watch half of your TV show), and the very professional Quality Inn staff were attending to customers in their nightgowns!! I have been trying for two weeks to get our reservation fee refunded, and the hotel manager refuses to give us our money back. We have also been charged additional charges ( almost $100) THREE days after we left this location, and he refuses to explain these charges or refund those as well. The manager is a very rude Indian gentleman who will not budge. He proceeded to yell at me on the phone that he would not refund any charges. At this point, our only option is to dispute the credit card charges and to post reviews on this location. Please, please, please forward this to anyone you know, and post on your timeline, so that no one else gets taken advantage of or even thinks about driving through the parking lot of this dump. Giving it one star because zero is not an option.

Pool area was closed all weekend, even though when booking it said was open and that was a big reason we booked this hotel. There looked like mold on the shower head and on the tub. There was used plastic spoon, fork, and knife in a side table. The vent above the toilet was very dusty, not sure if cleaned. There was a chip in the side table. And the WiFi was where you have to go to a separate page to log in on your phone and you are unable to use any systems you bring in the WiFi. Tried to ask to pay for a soda and front desk said it was for higher members. Tried to use the vending machine instead and it was out of order. The shower bar for the curtain was off a little. Check out was at 12 and they called around 11 and 11:45 to remind you it was at 12. Do not disturb was on door at check out and around 11:30 we had a knock on the door from housekeeping. Felt a big pushy to leave before check out time. Breakfast was not mine or my husbands favorite. We ended up not eating much and going somewhere else to eat. They didn't refill the milk the first day when we came down and the second day the milk was a little warm. Ac in the room did not go down to the temp it said and no matter how many times I pressed it sometimes it would not go up or down in temperature setting. Edit to add photos

VERY disappointed in afternoon tea at The Willcox Inn in Aiken, SC. Why? Because I didn't have it!…read more I was extremely disappointed in restaurant management when I was told today that afternoon tea was only served after 3pm. I had booked online reservations 7 days in advance, clicking on the 'Book A Table' button on the Afternoon tea link on the Willcox Inn website which took me to Resy Open Table page. The times showing supposedly for afternoon tea was 12, 12:30 and 12:45, so I chose 12:45 and typed in the note box specifying that this is for Afternoon Tea. It gave me the reservation time and sent an email confirming. I then CALLED Willcox Inn to confirm the date, time, number in party for AFTERNOON TEA, telling the lady who took my call that I was calling to confirm afternoon tea time for 4. The lady confirmed she had me down and repeated the details. So two sources confirmed an afternoon tea request, online and human. When I arrived at the dining room of the Willcox today at 12:05pm, early, I was told they only serve tea after 3pm. I was very upset, especially when it was the restaurant's fault for NOT specifying on the afternoon tea page that tea was only available after 3pm. We were told there was nothing they could do and they apologized. My friends and I had traveled from Evans, GA, forty-five minutes away to be told 'sorry, no tea', after I had confirmation from two sources. To make matters worse, we were told there were no tea foods, no scones, no tea sandwiches that could be served to us at 12:30 when everything would be available a few hours later at 3pm. The chef even came to our table to coldly state she could not prepare any scones as she had to feed other diners. The very least a manager could have offered to guests who had traveled distance and were denied what they were given confirmation for, was to comp a meal, and provide an explanation of errors on their website. I will never return to this establishment because they simply do not care about their customers. With today's use of social media, everyone is a reviewer. And this restaurant failed in providing good customer service, and failed in attempting to correct inaccuracies due to their negligence in advertising correct times for afternoon tea. Anyone who booked afternoon tea through this page should have their reservations honored, despite the restaurant's negligence. I do not recommend this restaurant.

The staff member (woman) who greeted us showed none of the southern charm we hear so much about. We felt like we were a burden during check-in. We saw her one other time, and she didn't ask how things were going, and walked away from the desk when we walked toward her w a question. She was not present when we checked out. Aside from the blasting AC--joy to our northern ears--we were really disappointed with our room (the one at the top of the stairs in the main building) and generally underwhelmed w the hotel experience. Upon closer inspection you see that the hotel is shabby and in need of some attention. The issues w our room included: the dresser drawers having improperly long bolts/screws which snagged clothes multiple times, nearly ripping items. The room didn't look clean; stained carpet, as well as areas of carpet w water damage, as the AC unit dripped nonstop. It's safe to assume the staff is aware of the problem, as there is noticeable staining on the wall under the drip. All of this extra moisture left the carpet soggy under the AC vent, and the room smelling musty. There were stains from, god only knows what, over our bed. And the cherry on the cake was the cockroach we saw running around our bathroom on our last night. We've stayed in loads of hotels in the south and have yet to have had that happen. The one saving grace was the kind cook. Suffice to say we won't be going back.

This is a terrible way to run a business and I will never go back and never recommend it to anyone.
