As a guest/celebrant at a wedding booked here tonight, my munchies were provided from a large array of share dishes served into small bowls at the table. My second time here, delicious choices again. First up were scallops in their shell, juicy and cooked in garlic, next was Peking Duck also small portions served onto small dishes but plenty of seconds if wanted... tender & delicious! Next was crab pieces/joints with noodles, but my minimal appetite (due to new medication) wouldn't let me enjoy any more food.
As I've only ever been here when as a night reception venue, I'm not sure what happens at other times, whether a regular restaurant or not. So I can only recommend this restaurant as a good reception venue, well catered, decorative for special occasions. There was another celebration on other side of the very large room, a 50th anniversary party with a band. So, depending how you took it, an advantage to have someone else's live music or perhaps an annoyance for a wedding group whose couple were trying to say their vows above the loud music. But that decision is at the perogative of newlyweds anyway, the way I see it. read more
