Sadly the food quality and service have both gone significantly downhill. I ordered the Bacon Mac and Cheese burger. From the description on the menu it looked like it was going to be awesome. It even looked impressive when our server brought it to the table. Looks can be deceiving. My burger was undercooked and the fried Mac and cheese was literally ice cold -- nearly frozen in the middle. The waitress said it wasn't supposed to be cold and brought another portion of fried mac and cheese (no burger) and it was also ice cold. Starting to think they dont like certain demographics here Last two times I went they acted like they didn't want my business and were trying to rush me out of there. This last time my food was not cooked right and only had two bites so I asked to be comped only for that item not the whole meal. It was a big resounding NO. Not only that but you could clearly see that the food was not cooked properly but the server began to low key tell me I was not capable of telling if food was raw. Celebrated 4 birthdays tonight. Our server, Samantha, was personable and very attentive. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and you can't beat the view of the river. The portions were so large that we all took half of our dinner home. The desserts were yummy! If you like Keylime pie, the Keylime cheesecake is light and not too tart. Solid food, nice atmosphere, and reasonable prices! It does seem to get pretty busy so prepare for a wait (they might take reservations--unsure). The food was good but the artichoke dip was nasty do not recommend just go to the restaurant across from here if you're coming from the park. The service was way too slow do not come it's way too slow why would you come to a slow slow service. The attendance time was too slow and no one was even in the restaurant. The ambulance was good though it looks pretty cool but don't come. And don't get the seafood I don't think that tastes good either. read more

For starters the atmosphere is beautiful by the river. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed a wonderful meal in beautiful weather. The service is impeccable. Very friendly. My father turned 85 yesterday, and my sister and I took him to Liberty Grill to have a nice dinner out on the patio, his little dog in tow (they allow dogs on the patio). Up until yesterday, we liked this restaurant and ate here often. Their patio is beautiful with a view of the Clarksville Marina, and their food has always been solid. We were happy to bring Dad here, but we did not ask for any special birthday treatment. We arrived around 3:45pm and they sat us with Lunch menus. The patio had several tables with customers. The server took our drink orders and brought our drinks and bread within just a few minutes. She then asked if we knew what we wanted to order or needed more time to decide. Dad needed a little extra time with the menu, so I chose the latter. The server came back close to 4pm and asked again if we still needed time. Dad was still deciding and there were other customers, so I again said yes. Little did I know that this would be the beginning of a completely ruined birthday dinner for Dad. The second time the server asked us if we needed time, I checked my phone because I remembered that the menu switches to Dinner at 4pm. I don't mind paying more but I wanted to be sure we could still order off the Lunch menu. Dad now knew what he wanted but our server did not come back until 4:20pm. I know this because after waiting nearly 20 minutes, I got up and went inside the restaurant to find her. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant or on the patio at this point. The lunch crowd had cleared out and our server had clearly forgotten us. After my finding her, she came out and took our order. When I asked if we were still okay ordering off the Lunch menu, she said "yes, we'll honor that since you were seated before lunch ended"- which was 35 minutes before. She knew we'd been there for a while. After the order was placed, we waited for almost 30 minutes. Just as I was about to go back in to find our server, she brought our little dog out the hamburger patty we'd ordered for her. Yes, our dog got dinner. We didn't. In a nutshell, I ended up talking with the manager. The server blamed the kitchen (conveniently leaving out the part about her forgetting us). The manager said she'd check on it right away. We waited. The manager then appeared several minutes later and blamed it on the Teriyaki Kabob I'd ordered and informed us that it would take another 5 minutes. At this point it was close to 5pm and it had gotten ridiculous. The manager did offer to box up our food to go. We didn't take her up on the offer to eat microwaved food that we'd not been served on the patio where we drove to have a nice dinner. Then to add injury to insult, the server came out to have a word with us. She's likely a very nice lady. But the golden rule is that you don't blame the customer. And while she "apologized," she also put in a comment about us taking our time to order as if it were our fault all along for not being served our dinner in over an hour at their establishment. As if an 85-year-old man should just hurry the hell up. She's young, so maybe that's the reason for poor customer-service skills. But she really should have kept the fake apology to herself, because that was when I raised my voice. Luckily, there was only one other table of customers on the patio, customers who had arrived after us and who were already eating their dinner. Must have been nice. As for Dad, we stopped and got him Panda Express. He was really hungry and tired at that point. Panda Express could give Liberty Grill some pointers on how to manage a restaurant, because Liberty Grill isn't suitable for a special occasion or a timely dinner for that matter. Was a little cautious of this place because of the bad service reviews every now and then. I finally said whatever and went and was not disappointed at all. Carey or Kerri however you spell her name was by far one of the best waitresses I've ever had. The atmosphere was nice and the food was awesome. I got the cheeseburger and wing combo and man the portions are pretty big. Only thing I would say is, I ordered the Italian Parmesan wings and the seasoning was mixed with ranch on the side. Kind of odd but, I still enjoyed the food. The fries were incredible. Price I paid was not bad at all. About rough estimate 60-90$ for 2 ppl, including a 20% tip. Great place to take the fam. Ran me off the patio mid meal because my tiny little half pound harmless quiet dog was sitting at my feet at lunch . Had dinner on their outside patio last Friday and had a great experience. Afi was my server and she was wonderful. Started with the Moscow Mule and some Fried Pickles which were lightly breaded and bite-sized, with just the right balance of flavor. I chose the Salmon with green beans and a sweet potato for my entree, paired with a lovely Chardonnay. The grilled Salmon had nice flavor and the sweet potato was just big enough (with delicious toppings of butter, brown sugar & pecans which I asked for on the side) that I wasn't overly stuffed when I finished. It's Saturday around 5:15 and we originally wanted to try Edwards Steakhouse but they wouldn't have any tables available until 7:30. Totally forgot about graduations. I suggested Liberty Park Grill because I always pass by, but never tried it. I'm glad we did. We had a party of 4 and only had to wait 10 minutes. My mother-in-law ordered ribs. My husband and his sister ordered mushroom burgers. I ordered cilantro lime chicken. We also shared fried pickles. Everything was hot and delicious. Our server was friendly and never let our drinks get low. I got to try some of those potato cracklings and they were so good I'd go back just for that. While my chicken breast was moist and delicious, they shouldn't call it cilantro lime if those flavors aren't there or even get garnished with them. I made my husband try it to see if it was just me, but he said it just tastes grilled. I already know what I plan to order on my next visit. That pot roast looked awesome at the table next to us. Our server William was the best. The venue is dated but pretty clean. The warm fresh bread and whipped butter was an excellent way to whet our already big appetites. The chips and queso were good but the cheese was thin and the chips were sticking together and limp. William brought a second bowl. The entrees were ok. The burger was perfect per my daughter. Fries were delicious. Chicken was very tender and flavorful. My granddaughter remarked that her toasted cheese only had one slice of cheese and was really thin. Correct. All bread. My sirloin was a mess. I specifically ordered a medium rare. Got well done. My entire table was eating. Got another and it was mooing. I love rare but not that rare. Service is bad. We went last week on Friday at 5pm. We sat in our booth for 15 minutes maybe a little more. Wife went to the front desk to tell them no body has came by. Finally a server came by and ask would we like to order drinks while they figured who was going to be our server. Mind you the place was not packed. Most people were in the bar our outside. That being said I ask to see a manager. A nice young lady came by our table who presented herself as the manager. Not sure that was the truth just by the way she interacted. We are now around 40 minutes when she showed up. I explained the situation and told her I was not looking to get something for free. She acknowledged my complaint but never said I'm sorry or let me get someone to take your order. I decided to just leave and spend our money some where else. (Mailroom). The place was packed but service and food was great there. Living across the bridge we have went to Liberty Park Grill many times. The food is pretty good but the service is hit or miss. read more

I was visiting the grandkids kids and we decided American food was the way to go. It was 7:00 p.m. on a Friday night for a party of five and our wait time was approximately 20 minutes. We ordered 2 Long Island Ice teas, fried catfish, taco nachos, kids cheese burger, sirloin dinner, double burger, cream cheese brûlée', chocolate brownie and a chocolate chip cookie with vanilla bean ice cream. Everything was absolutely delicious. All the selections were prepared well and the only thing that was a little bland was the mashed potatoes. Total price to feed five was just a little over a $100.00. Our service was excellent the hostess kept coming to our table and checking to see if we needed anything. This restaurant's atmosphere sets the stage for our dining experience with it's lighting, elegance and modern American look. Next time I'm in town we will try the outside dining near the water it was breathtaking outside. Delicious food, great service and the ambiance was amazing. There's always room for improvement, but not today! There was literally nothing more our server or hostess could have done to make our experience epic. Eating by the water is the best it gets for me. She was friendly, told me a personal story, and checked on us often. If she hates her job, I would never know! Oh yeah, and the food was delicious. The food was decent; but the service is lacking. We asked to be seated near the window so we could enjoy the river & marina view. On a weeknight in a restaurant that was two-thirds empty, we we're bluntly told there was no availability near the window as they had to "even out the staff". I understand that one wait person can only handle a certain amount of customers at a time; however, I believe given the emptiness of the restaurant some concession could have been made. Once we were seated our wait person seemed to be in a big rush. She took our drink order and delivered our drinks; and asked if we were ready to order. As some of us were new to the restaurant we asked for a little more time to make our decisions. That seemed to be fine. Once our order was placed and the food delivered, we settled down to eat and converse. Barely five minutes afterwards our wait person came and asked if we needed any to go boxes. We just looked at her in amazement since we had just started eating. We were then interrupted several times and given the impression we were taking too long. Again, I will mention it was a weeknight and the restaurant was at least half empty the whole time we were there. I will tolerate bad service to an extent if the food is exceptional; however, Liberty Park Grill's food is average. Don't know when or if I will return. read more
