This is a really well run restaurant, but it's a destination to enjoy if you need a break from traveling. This is a brunch only review-- they serve brunch on Saturdays and Sundays starting at 10 am. I'd love to stop by again in the future for dinner and drinks/flights, though. Plenty of parking, huge interior that is welcoming, modern, and comfortable. This place is really cool. This was our first visit to a distillery and Old Glory is impressive. The building itself is a giant brick building like an old factory from the 1920s. The inside appears to have been recently updated and renovated. On one side is the restaurant, the other is a tasting room, and the distilling in the in middle. We came in for lunch. Started out with old fashions which were spot in, ended up having two. For lunch it was the standard American fare. We had some lighter options like salads and shared plates. The food overall was good, but not extraordinary. Service could have been a little more attentive however. After lunch, we headed to the tasting room. The standard tasting was $16 which seemed to be quite reasonable. Some of the tastings are 90-100 proof, so be ready for that. Also picked up some T-shirts. We would have picked up a bottle, but because of TSA you would have to put it in a checked bag. We did end up picking up a bottle at the Nashville airport after security, but the cost is about 30% more. They indicated that you can order online and have it shipped. Looks like they do tours, but we did not have the time on this day. Definitely a stop if you are a whiskey drinker and in the Clarksville area. read more

I want to share my bad experience with the restaurant I had last night! First of all I want to say we had a reservation and nowhere does it let you choose what kind of table you want! Second we got there and we can't get a different table (mind you I'm 7 months pregnant with a tailbone injury) we got the high table to sit on. At that point I already wanted to leave, unfortunately I decided to stay which was a bad choice because all I was looking forward to was the salmon just to find out they were all out!! I've been to Old Glory Distilling a couple of times with friends and it has never disappointed me. The atmosphere is always nice and on the quieter side despite it being a distillery. The servers I've had each time were friendly, accommodating and attentive even in the busier times. I have to always get the prime rib egg rolls every time I visit. The chicken and pancakes are perfect for brunch. The chicken is seasoned to perfection and the pancakes are so buttery and the homemade syrup adds to this pairing. Work travel always takes me to new locations. I have to say this place met all of my expectations for lunch. I ordered their grilled smoked salmon dish and it was amazing. They also are a bourbon distillery so their flights are a must try. My service was excellent with recommendations of their featured items. We ordered the salmon, kids chicken tenders, kids pork sandwich, and the southern chicken. The kids chicken tenders took a long time to prepare, but they were hot and fresh! They actually were the best part of the meal. For the other kids meal, the pork sandwich and fries were not warm. The restaurant ended up comping it, which we appreciated. We felt disappointed in the bartenders who were more focused on adding up their receipts rather than providing friendly customer service.
