Love this wooden park. I've been going here since I was a child lots of photo opportunities. Huge lots of sections for all ages. Lots of. Climbing Tunnels slides and more. This park is really fun. It's shaded so you can go anytime of the day. The only hiccup is the ants and mosquitoes. The cool thing is if they offer you a mosquito repellent there. My little boy loves to come here! There's even a splash pad. I really enjoy coming to this park. And right next-door there's a dog park! So all my little babies have fun. read more

This is one of the better parks that I have been able to take my daughter in recent times, and it was something I wasn't expecting at all. The park has two playground areas - one for toddlers aged 2-5 and one for 5 and on, and they are both extremely well kept. Each side has about 6 to 7 age appropriate swings in excellent condition. Additionally, there are a variety of slides that can be used, including one that makes it seem like it's a volcano ("Floor is lava!" anyone?) There are cargo nets and different bars that give it that obstacle course feeling, which makes it a great park for both the adult and child to participate in. I was pleasantly surprised to see bug repellant being readily available for use by the park patrons. The vending machines were in excellent working order, and the bathrooms were clean. You can catch an amazing reverse view of the sunset from the different tables and gazebos, as well as from the grass right next to the park too. You can occasionally see people riding horses in the area. Great sight for kids! read more

What a great playground! I came over to use the dog park but this amazing play space caught my eye. The park is 7 acres and includes two playgrounds and a splash park. The playground had a tiered play structure, slides, and swings. The splash park was upgraded in 2016 from the original 1997 version. It includes a small freedom boat water slide, a silo with four showers, a palm tree shower and two water cannons. The kids that were getting hosed down by the water sprays were having a ball. Other park amenities include a restroom with both soda and ice cream vending machines, barbecue grills, and a large pavilion that can be reserved for parties from the Parkland parks and recreation department. read more

Wow what an adorable hidden gem! I took my almost two year old here and he had a blast. They have a park for older children, one for toddlers and then a decent sized water area with slides. We came during the week so it wasn't overly crowded but we will definitely be back! read more

By far the best park for little kids! I had no clue this park existed until my fiancé suggested I take my 3 yr old and 7 yr old little cousins here. It was literally like 5mins away from my house. There are not many parking spaces but you can park in the grass area near the park. The weather was perfect and the park was so cozy and beautiful. It is all made from wood and they have so many tunnels, slides, monkey bars, things to climb on and swings. There is plenty of shade and tables to sit near the play ground. Restrooms were clean. You can rent out pavilions but they don't have many. So make sure you book early. I love that the park is section off with a wood fence that way the kids do not have access to run out near the road. You feel safe and comfortable letting them run around. read more

What a great park! Splash pad area looks like so much fun for the kids and the area is always clean.

This should not be in a Dog park category! but park category. If you have kids, this is a park worth going to. The playground has a bigger kid area with all different slights and ladders and monkey bars, and places to run. There is also a little kid area that is shaped liked a boat. The best part, especially for hot days or winter days for us "northerners" is the water feature. You, the guest, turn on the timer. My kids had a blast running through the water. (Sorry to the other parents who thought the 79 degree weather was too cold for your kids to get wet). There are restrooms and covered tables to sit at. The part us off the beaten track, so there is not a lot of traffic. Actually, there is one of the biggest homes that I have ever seen right by the park. Seriously, it has to be over 6000 square feet. It's enormous! The only thing that I wished is for better signage. After I turned off Holburg, I didn't know which way to turn. I went gate wrong way at first. read more

A rustic style park on the south east side of Parkland. This is mainly a kids park with two major playgrounds and a splash park. First of all, parking here is very limited but you can totally park on the grass by the lots. The facilities available here are bathrooms, gazebos and vending machines. My only complain for this place is the congestion. The two playgrounds are meant for two separate age groups. But kids run across one to the other all the time. They are way too close and the entrance into the playgrounds are right next to each other, making it a really busy place when school is out. Besides that, it is a great park. The playground layout is fun and adventurous. The verdict: One of our favorite playground so put this on your list but be aware of the peak hours. For the toddler: Approved! read more

"Old School" park with neat wooden play scapes and mulch. Splash pad has really fun features, although better for walkers than crawlers. Lots of shade from large trees. HOWEVER, there were fire ants everywhere - all over sidewalks, benches, tables, etc. I was standing under a tree, and suddenly was getting bitten on my arm. I still have a welt one week later. I have been hearing about this park for a while and today I got to finally see what all of the hype is about. This park has my favorite and number one thing I look for in a park and that is shade. I am all about the shade! It is natural shade because there are so many trees. The parking is interesting. When you drive up there is no parking lot just gravel and cars lined as far as the eye can see. When we walked in we saw so many different parts of the park for climbing for swinging, for hanging and for running. Beware that hey have a lot of places where kids climb up a big tower and you can't see them that great. I was nervous when my three year old when up a big tower and knowing her she gets scared and then I have to rescue her. I was nervous because it was a tight fit and I am not tight and fit so I was scared that if she needed me I would not be able to go and help her. She was definitely scared because it was her first time so it took her a while and for me it was like forever but she came down herself and didn't need me to come to the rescue. I wanted to share that so that if you are like me you might want them your child to go with a friend next time or skip the long lean towers. We got there at 11:00am and the water park part was not turned on. The sign said it is turned on in the summer so even thought it was scortching hot we figured that in March it might not be turned on. After we had a nice picnic in the shade on a nice picnic bench we realized that they turn on the water park at 1:00pm. Be careful on the wet slide in the water park. It is very slippery and it will catapult your child really far and if they are small it can be scary. My three year old was scared because she was not prepared for it. If you want to have a party there you only have to reserve one of the huge picnic benches that is the furthest from the park. The smaller picnic bench areas that are all closer to the park are first come first serve. Great place for a kids birthday party. I can't wait to come back, we had a blast here. read more
