This is the most popular park in Parkland. It is where all of the city's youth leagues practice for baseball, soccer, lacrosse, and football. There are five multi purpose fields, one synthetic turf field. four T-ball fields, soccer field, and basketball and tennis courts. There is a large playground and Life Trail fitness equipment but both are currently closed because of Covid. My favorite part of the park is the fishing pier where you can watch the local bird wildlife on the wetlands and the walking trails throughout the park. The park has an amphitheatre that hosts monthly concert series and other special events throughout the year. Other park amenities include barbecue grills, concessions, meeting rooms, and restrooms. My last visit to the park was after the Marjory Douglas Stoneman school shooting. The school is located very close to the park and the after the tragedy the stage held angels representing the victims and the field was filled with crosses and memorials. The park was also where everyone marched to from the school during the March for Our Lives rally. My memories of that sad event are tied to this park. I am sure a lot of the kids killed that day grew up playing on the city's youth league in this park. I can't help but think of the lives lost on that day when I come here and I always will.

Nice park... great location and plenty of activities for the young kids. Adults have also lots of ground space for exercising, jogging, etc. Soccer fields are nicely maintained and have great sitting areas.

Located in Parkland off Park Trail is an awesome playground. What a great park for all ages. The ground has soft padding for safety. They even have insect repellent available if necessary. The equipment has sun protectors overhead. Public restrooms are nearby. Lots of various equipment is available for all sizes to enjoy.

Beautiful park with two covered playgrounds side by side. Lots of Fun things for kiddies to do. The only downside is the bathrooms near the playgrounds was pretty gross for early in the day, about 10:30am. This definitely needs to be addressed. I cannot comment on the rest of the park as we only came for the playgrounds :)

What's not to like about this park when I live across the street from it. This park features the following: kids playground, basketball courts, soccer fields, lacrosse fields, walking paths, ice cream parlor, outdoor stage for concerts & shows and the Parkland Rec center had meeting rooms, indoor basketball, dance / aerobics room and a gym. This is a very nice community park that all ages can enjoy. The park rangers on the other hand sometimes have power trips and their ego takes over. I was there on an unoccupied part of the grass playing with my kids and I was told to leave because I didn't have a permit! I was in disbelief that I needed a damn permit to play ball. I ignored him and the ranger drove off on his golf Cart mumbling that he's going to turn me in. Oh well, he was having a bad day.

Pine Trails Park is a popular park for families in the city of Parkland. We have been there several times to watch our boys play lacrosse, but the fields are also used for soccer and other sports. There are five multi-purpose fields, including one synthetic turf field. There are also four T-ball fields and a football field. The fields are fairly well maintained and even have a few shaded bleachers at each of them, nice for those times when you forget your lawn chair at a game! The park has a fishing pier and walking trails, including Life Trails fitness equipment. There is a really cool modern looking playground that I always see being used by all aged kids. There are new basketball courts which are also always being used. In fact, of the basketball courts is being refurbished right now. There is even an amphitheater in the park which holds monthly concerts and special events. My only feedback about this park would be the lack of a regular hours at the concession stand during games. At one game a few weeks ago the concession stand was not open at all and today it was open for just a little while. It really does not have too much to offer: Beverages, snacks, pretzels, hot dogs. However, there is more to choose from then the vending machines which just has limited snacks, beverages, and ice cream. During tournaments there are some great food carts T this park. However on days like today, when we play recreational games, it would be nice if the concession stand was open longer and had some more substantial food options.

This is a beautiful park that has a large playground, multiple baseball/softball fields and even has a concession area by the playground that serves cold treats and microwaveable pizzas. The playground is covered with a tarp and has multiple structures for kids of all ages.

Well maintained and recreational programs are very organized. We live in Lake Worth and drive to Parkland to participate in their programs.

There's a concession stand in case the kiddos grow an appetite and you forgot to pack snacks.

They have multiple options for older kids and younger kids. My kids especially loved the rollie slide and the merry-go-round. All in all a beautiful park with baseball fields and soccer fields as well. Easy access to the bathrooms which is key for young kids with small bladders (and moms too). The bathrooms were clean and well kept with beautiful tile for an outdoor public restroom. Hoping to have more birthday parties here in the future.

It is one of the city's two major parks. The park recently received a number of improvements including making their athletic fields regulation sized and adding a brand new play ground with ADA accessible equipment and a rubber ground surface. The new playground was built at a cost of $508,550 and features two play areas with a green and blue camouflage theme, one for ages two to five and another for ages five to 12. Other park amenities include barbecue grills, open play area, picnic pavilions, pickleball courts, restrooms, tennis courts, basketball court, and exercise trails. Many of Parklands city baseball, soccer, tennis league, and lacrosse programs are held in the park. While this large park is perfect for sports, it can be enjoyed by anyone who wants to take the kids to play or who enjoys outdoor recreation and exercise.
