That review from Alyssa S. is fake, beware. We get pestered all the time to leave reviews of this dump and mention the staff by name. Orlando was the only good person on the staff, and he's long gone. People who are helpful only stay here for a few months and then move on. Folks like An, however, tend to last a long time. If you like to pay too much for what you get: this is the place for you. It is so ghetto here. Loud music thumping in the parking lots. Louder music from the pool in the summertime, so loud you can hear it inside your apartment. Management sits in the office just a few feet away and does nothing about the boombox blasting, I don't even know how they can work in there. Driving in the parking lot is insane: people speeding, wrong side of road, turning in front of you without a signal to grab a parking space from right in front of you. Oh, and smoking - lots of smoking. Marijuana and cigarette smoke is a very common thing around here, in the parking lot, in the walking track below your balcony, inside your apartment because people are smoking inside their apartments 24x7. Garbage is always piling up - management sends us nasty emails, like the garbage is OUR fault. HOT TIP for management: get the trash picked up more often. Last apartment complex I was in, it was picked it up DAILY Mon-Sat, so stop blaming US for YOUR incompetence and get your garbage removed so we don't have to pile it up. Gee, thanks, we only pay to live here you know. Maintenance is a joke. They've closed tickets without fixing anything; no notes, no work done, nothing. If you complain via email, you'll get screamed at to 'open a ticket'. Snow/ice - they plow the parking lot. That's it. Have fun slipping on the stairwells. We've been taking care of that on our own, purchasing and throwing out salt. Intrusions: Usually 18 hour notice that pest control will be entering your apartment (again) and breaking your privacy (again). ON the one hand, good that they spray, on the other hand, they spray so little it is most likely ineffective. I even have a video of this guy entering my apartment, used my bathroom, then left. He didn't even spray. BTW, thanks for using my bathroom. YUCK. Also, maintenance has a bad habit of leaving my lights on when they leave. Thanks for the electricity bill guys. Emails, emails, and more emails. Emails bugging you to leave them a positive review so you can have a chance at getting some rent knocked off. Emails bugging you to leave a positive review and mention the person's name who helped you out. Emails about pool closures because they don't know how to shock a pool when it rains. Emails about YOU the RESIDENT are bad because you pile the garbage up by the dumpsters because THEY don't empty them often enough. Emails about events. Emails about bills, early office closures (a lot of those, LOL) - it is not uncommon for me to get 5-10 emails in one day. Usually 1-2 emails daily. Deliveries are terrible around here. Whether Amazon, UPS, FedEx, deliveries are constantly left at wrong doors, even wrong buildings. This is a fairly large complex, and the building numbers are rather small and placed at the ends, so they are very easy to oversee (especially if it is dark outside). Not suprisingly, deliverers get really impatient and simply drop your package by any door, take a picture of your package on the ground so you can't see the apartment number, and then they call it a day. We have tons of messages inside the portal of people trying to communicate with one another trying to locate lost packages. I've never had this issue at previous apartment complexes, I can say I very much appreciate apartments that have package delivery/pickup at the office as opposed to the mess we have going on around here. Going back to the smoking around here, this is advertised as a 'non-smoking' apartment complex. Read the contract: there is a small line in there that says 'no smoke inside your apartments is NOT guaranteed' - it's like living in a bar. Management does everything to avoid getting involved with lease violators; if you complain, YOU are the bad guy. FINAL WARNING: The 'Liberty Pointe Director' is less than honest and definitely passive-aggressive unfriendly if you have any issues. The management is not here to help you; they are here to protect Weidner. If you are thinking about renting here, be sure to ask questions about their smoking policy. Ask about add-on fees, like paying $6 a month, per vehicle, for parking. Parking isn't even assigned, and finding a 'sweet spot' that isn't 50 yards from your building can sometimes not possible. Ask about how they enforce people picking up their dog poo (tip: they don't. They tell YOU that YOU need to take pictures.) Ask about security camera location(s). ONE: it faces their office. Ask about how they enforce their 'no smoking' policy and what they do when smoke gets inside your apartment. Ask how often the trash gets picked up. read more

It doesn't matter what time of the day or night you go outside, you are subjected to cigarette, pipe, or marijuana smoke. It's in the parking lot, on your porch, in your apartment. Even though this is billed as a no smoking apartment complex, all of your neighbors will smoke, they will probably all smoke both marijuana and cigarettes, and it will infiltrate your apartment at all hours of the day and night. You will get up at 0300 and your apartment will smell like smoke, you will get home from work at 1700 and your apartment will smell like smoke, you'll walk out at 0700 and your apartment will smell like smoke. There is literally no time you will be on the grounds (or in your apartment) and not smell smoke, in the summer the entire pool area will be filled with marijuana and cigarette smoke, even though it is a shared space. Management does not hand out fines for smoking an apartments, they do not regulate smoking in common areas, I'm really not sure what they do about smoke. If you are looking to move here and think you will be free of smoke, this is not the place for you. read more

So far I would say stay far away from this place!!! On the 6th I drove up fom Austin to find a second place for my hubby to stay while he is working the next 8-9 months. A sister property sent us here. Took a tour, though not of the unit as it wasn't available, and we accepted for a move in date of the 9th. After an hour, their online network went down in the middle of the application, we recompleted the lost info again, and we headed back to Austin. We asked if they could leave our keys in the apartment as we would not be in until the office was closed on Sunday, to which they informed us they could not. Fair enough, I let them know we have one friend, who is caring for her husband who just got out of a coma, and would ask her to pick the keys up for us. The next day I received a marketing call. Really? If you are going to call leads, maybe you should talk to the leasing agent first to get your job straight before insulting a potential resident. We were accepted that day and called to have electric hooked up. We signed their papers, hubs sent a note back with our friends name who would be picking up the keys on Saturday. We got a confirmation back from them. We sent over the account number and hook up date of the electric to which they asked for the paper from OG&E. No problems, we sent that. Followed up with a second note staying that the deposit was waved, so they would not have to be concerned about payments to OG&E. Again, the incompetence of Lisa comes back asking for the paper work. At this point we aren't sure if Lisa is the problem or if it's all people in OKC can't do their jobs. We obviously don't know the area. Saturday, our anniversary, and in the middle of a timed cooking challenge for our party, we receive word that the complex will not give the keys without authorization. A fact we made in writing on Friday. In order to continue without interruption to our party or our friends already inundated life. 2 emails, and 3 phone calls later, it was finally done. Again, with the incompetence. We wake early on Sunday. Load the truck and head for OKC, only to get in at 830pm, for a 7am call to work, to a disaster. The waft of either death, dog or cigarette smoke that drifted out when we opened the door was enough to nearly send us to a hotel right there. Then add, the floors hadn't been cleaned, the walls had been painted with the trim unfinished, paint bloches from touch-ups, the tub and tiles were still filthy and the shower head still has pink mold growing in it. Clearly no cleaning was completed, besides the last tenants move-out. Then add to that, the door handle and locks were missing to the back door and storage unit, not to mention half the paint. Oh, and boxes if Christmas goodies from the last tenants. Really??? The kitchen laminate has 2 cent. gaps between each of them, which can only lead to lift up &/or dirt in the open cracks. Shoddy craftsmanship at best. The next day I demanded to have the manager over. Here's how she starts..."I'd be interested to see what you think you have found since I personally did 2 walk-throughs on this place myself." Really???!!!! Start there?? I mean before you have learned that I OWN an interior design firm and get paid to make sure homes are correct. The only thing I can give her is that she got humble real quick, sent someone to fix some of the repairs and promised to get the others done promptly. The promise was a lie. I left the husband to himself and came home to Austin. Over the week he discovered the washer didn't work...took 4 days to fix it. We have now discovered the dryer doesn't work either. AND GET THIS...they have the audacity to try to extort my husband to sign papers that we have to provide a receipt for carpet cleaning, from a pro, when we leave. Oh, and it would cost us $25 for touch-up paint, a point the leasing agent ensured would not be a problem mounting the flat screen. Or is that yoy dont want to complete the half-assed paint job. Really, because I shamed you for not doing your job, at all and made you actually clean the smell of filth out of the carpets?!?!!! I think not. That will be shredded. I should report them now for extortion. I have now called the owners, Weidner, 4 times and they will not call me back. I'm not sure if it's this management company, this complex, or OKC, but I would RUN as far away as possible. 17 days in and we regret every moment of this poorly operated project. read more

Had to get our mail carrier to come looking for our package because tracking carrier said it was handed to the office but when we called, they told us there was NO package. We ordered again and the SAME thing happened. After 3 orders, a case had to opened!!! They had a nice excuse as to why they lied about not having it. DO NOT EVER RENT HERE!!! I pay my rent on time even when they don't meet state requirements for living conditions. Long story short, you'll be better off in a homeless shelter than this dump. Moved here from NY to work at Boeing and my friend told me about Liberty Pointe. The office staff truly has the worst customer service/ management system that reflects their incapability to deliver an actually good living place. Jacob is great. However, the assistant manager, Allison Collins and another gal in the office are both quite silly. Their minds are too insufficiently cultivated to comprehend tenant concerns. They use a lot of positive lingo to shut you up (I will call you, Let me look into it and get back to you, Thank you I will look into it...lies) when you need something fixed/taken care of, and they continue to disappoint by never delivering any actual results. The construction quality of the buildings are extremely poor, paper-thin walls! Every weekend, we hear people partying and talking loudly from their balcony. read more

It may look great in photos, but my husband and I (along with many neighbors) are VERY displeased with this place. There have been multiple car break-ins, an APARTMENT break-in (just this morning), and a gun has been pulled out on someone involved in a hit and run - right in front of my apartment. The incident with the gun has been the only time the front desk sent out a notice about crime - yet there have been many others. This could be due to the broken gate entrance.. it's been A MONTH since it's been closed and operating. We've been told that there is a security guard who circles the lot every thirty minutes - and I have never noticed. Also, there is no number for the security guard, so how are residents supposed to call when there is suspicious activity? Our rent is $1000+ for a two bedroom-one bath. The water was through Minol when we first moved in, and without warning or (what seemed like) consideration, they switched to a new company that distributes the water bill out to everyone - and I don't remember hearing this from our front desk. I heard it from a fellow neighbor, and compared prices. Ours averages around $40-45.. which is NOT normal for our two person household. The pool had a few issues last summer, and there were multiple times when I saw NON-residents (teenagers) in our pool/grilling area, unattended. Front office workers have left early before, which is very unsettling to me. There have been a few employees who have not been very gracious or helpful during our time here, and as I have discussed with other neighbors, one employee in particular is extremely condescending. For residents to pay as much as they do, this place is a dump. I no longer feel secure here. My fellow neighbors no longer feel secure here. My husband and I will be moving out very soon, and have been told that the move-out process is not easy with this company. I will be releasing information on that as well. I really enjoyed my stay at Liberty Pointe. I won't deny that the price is a little steep, especially after utilities, water, trash, pet fee, etc. but it was perfect for me as I was new to OKC and knew little about where to live. They do definitely take advantage of being one of the few apartment complexes close to Tinker, but negotiations are not completely out of the question. My only issue was the lack of follow up from the staff. I went in to ask for a new key fob, the ones to get into the workout facility and open the gate, and in the 6 months I lived there I was only able to use the workout facility after office hours for about 3 months. And I never was able to get the fob to work opening the gate. That being said, there's a keypad for the west gate, so it was never a major issue. Even with a little mishap on my end during move out the staff was very helpful and understanding. Thanks for a good start to life in OKC! read more

LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! I have lived here for almost 2 months now and I am NOT impressed. I should have read the reviews prior to moving here, but coming from out of state and looking for something close to Tinker, this was pretty much the only option. This place definitely takes advantage of how close it is to TAFB by over-pricing the rent. We're in a 2-bedroom apartment, on the first floor, carport and we're easily paying $1100 a month (not including electric; which is running $145 a month because there's a draft coming from the windows and doors) and that's with a discount because they had to honor the rent amount they gave me prior to moving in. That's $100 less than my mortgage for a 2500 square house! Apparently based on where you are in the apartment (view of the pool, floor, ect) determines your monthly rent amount. Trust me the "view" of the pool isn't all that great. I can always hear my neighbors above me walking. I swear it sounds like they're playing basketball and dropping large items on the floor EVERY evening around 8:30 and EVERY morning at 5:45. Who needs an alarm when your neighbors wake you every morning at 5:45. For the amount they charge, the walls aren't insulated well. We can hear the water running after they use the restroom and during bathing/showering. We can hear the trucks traveling the down the interstate. Let's talk about the hours, on the Weidner website the hours are listed as 10-6; however, the apartment says 10-530. Those are great, unless you work a 9-5 job. They threaten to return your packages to the sender if you haven't picked them up within 3 days; how about you have operation hours that meet your renters needs! The individuals I've encountered have all been nice; however, there isn't anything LUXURY about this apartment. There isn't even a coat closet! The freezer is extremely small and the configuration of the refrigerator allows too much space to go unused (there's a small drawer in the middle of the bottom row). Spend your money wisely and look somewhere else!!! read more

Update*** Had to take away a star for not responding to my question regarding the gate key opener. Were only allowed to have one gate opener per apartment household. This makes it annoying as I have to leave the apartment to open the gate each time my roommate comes back or it goes vice versa. I've only stayed a few days but so far from what I've seen, everything is clean and customer service has been kind and honest. The apartment layout is spacious and has one bedroom on one side while the other is on the opposite side, both with own bathrooms. So noise and lights don't interfere with anyone. In addition, I requested a garage and was told they would have one available at the end of August. As that time rolls around, they stayed true to their word and offered an available garage. So far, I have no noise complaints. It's actually quite quiet minus some traffic on the highway. They also have a gym, pool, and nice walking area in between the buildings. There are some people walking their dogs that leave not so nice surprises on the lawn. I'm just glad it's not on the sidewalk lol. Also, this morning, I did have someone knock on my door - Not sure who it would have been. Overall, layout is excellent and provides high ceilings and a lot of space. For roommates deciding on an apartment, the 2 bed 2 bath is great. You have one side to yourself. In the middle, there's a living room and kitchen area. It looks fairly new minus some dents on the door and a dent on the ceiling. But very new looking appliances and building compared to some other ones I have seen. I am hoping this area is safe - I can't comment on that yet since I just moved. But there is a gate at the entrance. However, the last two days, it was left open at night. I heard it was because it was broken but they have it fixed now. The biggest complaint I have is only being allowed to have one gate opener per household. I don't understand how that makes sense especially if two people are out working/going to school at different times. If we're only allowed to have one, then one person always has to go out and let the other person in? That seems too inconvenient. read more

This place takes advantage of how close it is to TAFB by over-pricing the rent. A one bedroom apartment with trash fee, and water bill is almost $1,000. I can always hear my neighbors talking and playing music. The walls aren't well insulated. Also if you have a pet it is a $300 deposit for each pet PLUS $20 extra a month FOR EACH PET, and you only get $150 back from the deposit. That's OUTRAGEOUS!!! The pool is gorgeous, but there have been multiple times where teenage kids have snuck in and terrorized the pool. It is so easy for someone to get inside the gate, all they have to do is wait for someone to enter and follow in. I have threatened to call the police and they have left, but I suggest with all the money the apartments are taking in they should put cameras up by the pool. The gym is also nice but again, people ruin it. People bring their kids in there, bring chairs in to watch the TVs and sit in the way of the machines. I've called the front office about it, but nothing has been resolved. They also need cameras in the gym so this stuff can be caught. Also the rules are incredibly strict (i.e. You have to take your Christmas lights down IMMEDIATELY after Christmas.) a note was left on my door about two weeks after Christmas to take It down. I actually get nervous walking up to my door after work because there ARE SO MANY letters and notes left on my door and I always feel like I'm "in trouble" for something and I'm hesitant to read it. There is one nice girl inside the leasing office (blonde girl at the front, but the rest are rude and it feels like I'm a nuisance every time I walk in or call to ask a question. I have showed up 10 minutes before they close to get a package, and they already have the doors locked. One time I saw them inside still so I knocked on the door and they waved me off to go away and that they were closed. I have also called 30 minutes prior to them closing and they did not answer and I drove to the leasing office and saw the women with short brown hair (pretty sure she is a manager) leaving early and the lights were all out. I think they should definitely take down the times in the front entrance because they aren't correct. I would not suggest living here, for how much you pay it ISN'T worth it. Get a rental house, or live a little further away from the base so people don't take advantage of your money. read more

It's a decent apartment, and honestly very well made + beautiful on the inside. The cabinets, floors, etc do not feel "cheap" or like they'd break easy at all. The high ceilings are my favorite part, and the counter space is hard to beat! My boyfriend and I have lived here a year, and for the most part we've really liked it. However, a lot of people have extremely loud cars here, and rev the engines through all hours of the night. The complex is decent at first glance, but a lot of people just throw their trash in the general vicinity of the receptacle, rather than putting it in the trash. The complex as a whole could really use a "facelift" on the outside. The amenities aren't the best around. The pool is nice, but it's randomly closed on certain days of the week, without warning?? They just went up more than $200/month in rent (at least on our floor plan) but there aren't any changes being made to the apartment/complex, so why the drastic increase in rent?? We were told it's due to "the market"- the market (I.e brand new Liberty Creek Village apartments down the road, with 10x better amenities, clean, brand new, garage included, etc. etc. etc.) is BEYOND comparable to these, especially since Liberty Pointe is not making any changes to warrant such an increase in rent. If you want to pay $1050 for a 700sqft apartment (when you could pay the same for an 850sqft down the road) then it's a nice place. We, however, are not renewing our lease because we do not believe it's worth it. read more

Best apartment community I have lived at thus far. The complex is clean and updated appliances. Roxy was great at showing myself and my wife around. Trust me I do a lot of reviews on a lot of places and this is a great place to live. They have a dog park, nice lake at the front of the property and basketball courts. I am so glad I decided to make this place home. And there is plenty of parking all over the complex. read more

Be alert of the good reviews on other sites! The apartment asked for reviews and only published the few good reviews. Disappointed in Relocating to a Less Than Luxury-Stated Apartment - there is really nothing luxurious about the apartment. Luxury apartments will treat the residents with a family-friendly environment and this place has treated me far from that. I was promised garage after garage and then stated one after another that it was now taken. I am now further away from the building in which I live. Moved in on the 21st of December from Houston and the door was not very secure and had the office to please add it to a maintenance request. It was only added to a maintenance request on December 29th and today is the morning of January 5th and still no resolution. Found out this luxury complex does not replace carpet after each tenant, but I am told it is professionally cleaned (trash was in the carpet in several of the rooms). The carpet is supposed to last 7 to 8 years, but it is so very worn in places. Tenants who choose a garage pays 75.00 and there is no insulation and just reminds of a barn structure. If you watch each tenant pull into the garage- great care must be taken as the garages are narrow and can easily knock a mirror off of your vehicle. Please keep looking as this is not a place that you want to call home. read more

Essentially, this complex has gotten worse since I moved into the area. After talking with other tenants in the complex, the price has gone up roughly $50 every six months or so. With the increase, there have been limited to no improvements to the complex. A management company, Weidner, apparently took over in the last couple of years. My guess is that they overpaid for the property and are trying to squeeze as much money as they can out of each unit to compensate. The apartment is wedged between the I-240 highway and Tinker airforce base. This needs to be taken into consideration when pricing the units. Also, this place is a no go if you are a light sleeper. Occasional noise from tenants due to thin walls. The grounds are disinteresting and lack the appeal of other complexes in the same price range. The community is gated but the gate is routinely broken. I have heard of historic safety concerns in the area such as occasional car break ins. Some of the nearby neighborhoods to the west of Tinker are in varying conditions which could be part of the issue. Office staff is courteous up to the point of signing a lease agreement. The maintanence staff has been helpful but the quality of the initial construction has been lacking. This seems to be typical of a number of larger management groups that but and sell aparment complexes in the area. It will eventually get fixed but expect issues such as plumbing, carpet peeling back, etc. read more

Screw this place. I've only been living here for about three months now and already I'm tired of this place. After repeatedly seeing my neighbors leave their garbage bags outside of their doors for weeks at a time, along with seeing a countless amount of litter on the ground and all over the stairwell, you can imagine how unbelievably upset I was after getting a notice TWO WEEKS AFTER THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY to take my lights down off of my balcony.. MY balcony. The one I'm paying rent every month for. A ridiculously overpriced rent at that. There are people with actual couches and strings of flags and bbq pits on their balconies, but my lights are the concern.. litter on the ground, but my lights are concerning. Also, I've gone into the office many a times and most of them aren't able to answer any of my questions and take off early! I'll see them leaving a good 15 minutes before closing time. . So unprofessional and just downright ridiculous in my opinion. read more

The only thing I really liked about this place was the convenience of being so close to Tinker AFB. The apartments are nice only because they're new. I found myself paying almost $1,000 for a one bedroom if you add in the utilities. First, when I signed my lease in January 2015 I agreed to pay water through the company they used, which was Minol. I was only paying for the water I used. With hardly any warning they switched companies where everything was distributed equally throughout the community. So I ended up paying for water that other people were using. Second, the walls and floors are very thin. I could hear a conversation in the complex next to mine. Third, I hope you don't have a pet like I did, because if you do you'll not only pay the initial pet deposit, but also an additional $20 a month per pet. Lastly, it's not as safe as I thought it would be. It's a gated community, but it's very easy to access if you don't live there. Some of my gear was stolen from my vehicle one night and now I owe a few hundred dollars to my squadron. If you're in the military, don't let the convenience fool you. This place takes all of your BAH. Find a rental house and a few roommates. Better luck that way. read more
