Dont hire unless you're prepared to have them hire attorneys to intimidate you when they mess up and you want an adjuster who fights you harder than they do the insurance company. I would've been better off saving 20% of my payout and arguing the claim myself. You hire an adjuster to alleviate stress and liberty doesn't do that. 1. Took over a year and still no payout. 2. Went a month with NO responses to me or to insurance co. 3. Many times insurance co had to follow up with them to ask what's going on. 4. Advised me to demo my bathroom on my own dime and to take on 100% of the liability with no guarantees, anything in writing, to be reimbursed. 5. After Doug dropping the ball Mike & Corinne reassured me my claim would be their top priority. Corinne went unresponsive for 2 weeks with no prior communication. Claims I emailed right before she left and right after she returned which is why I didn't get an away email. Took her 2 weeks & insurance asking what's going on to send a 140 word email. 6. Don't take accountability for where they lack and make lots of excuses. Ex: bad reviews are attributed to prior partners, delay of my claim is because I refuse to take on full liability and cost myself, no email response because of when I emailed. 7. Mike and I came to a mutual agreement, asked me to send the email confirming this agreement, then hired an attorney to respond to me in an attempt to not follow through with the new agreement. read more

This has got to be the worst company I have ever dealt with. Do not hire them. They make frequent errors and blame their customers for their own inadequate service. They do not answer their phones or provide support. I waited 2 months for them to send me my first claims check for my roof that badly needed repair. Once my check was received and they received their contracted fee, they requested an additional $1000 from me and threatened to call collections. Again, do not use! Go anywhere else. read more

Did not return emails or text messages to myself or my contractor. Total waste of time dealing with this company and nothing was done. Extremely unhappy with the service provided by Liberty Public Adjusters. They actually caused more stress for me than the damage done to my property. They basically never respond to you after you sign a contract with them. They will not answer the office phones or personal phones and I had to call and threaten them several times via voicemail for my portion of the payment. I got no response until I threatened to file a lawsuit. Then I finally received an excuse of they were asking for more and submitting a follow-up. Then the secondary submission took another 4 months and I had to make calls asking them to reach out to my insurance for follow-ups. Finally that money is paid and once again i had to make more threatening legal action calls to get my portion of the payout. Then they tried to also deduct an extra $750 as the percentage owed from the mitigation part from the first day when they basically steered me into "their people". That bill was already paid in full by my insurance separately. ALL in ALL they are non-responsive, and do not care about their customers after they lock into the contract. They are only there to get involved and take a portion of your money. You do not need a public adjuster for anything. Get a lawyer if you feel you are not getting what you are entitled to. BUT never a public adjuster and NEVER LIBERTY read more

The adjusters office was great to deal with. I had an issue with my roof, of course the insurance gave me a hard time until I had Liberty get involved. They handled the insurance company and were able to get me the money I needed to replace my roof. My landlord hired Liberty Public Adjusters when we had a pipe break in the finished basement of the house. As the main tenant of the house, I was there when the adjusters came out and had quite a bit of contact with our adjuster throughout the process. Liberty Public Adjusters helped with the initial cleanup and had complete control of the claim, which made things very easy and got us the money needed to get the basement back to how it was prior to the pipe break. read more

I'm very happy with the service Liberty Public Adjusters provided me. I had a water pipe leak behind the wall and it must have leaked for sometime before the water reached the hallway carpet. They called the restoration folks who responded within hours. They removed all the damaged wallboard and flooring. They also left fans to dry the place out. I did not have to deal with the insurance company at all! The claim was settled within the 90 days they estimated it would take. All went well with me. Avoid them. They were very quick to send an adjuster out and start the claims process, and got me a fair settlement, but basically disappeared once the insurance company cut the check. It took them 3 weeks to send me my money, and they failed to respond to several phone calls and emails placed during that time period. They also didn't respond to inquiries I made about the claim after the check was received. It's like once they got paid, they were invisible. Poor customer service. There are plenty of public adjusters out there, and you can do better than this. read more

I wish I would have read these reviews before deciding to work with this company. We are first time home buyers and our plumbing froze and we were looking at thousands of dollars worth of damage. We met with the owner of the company one time and he convinced that they would help us get all the money we would need to cover the damages and we fell for it. After the initial visit we never saw anyone again! The guy that was working on our case either quit or was fired and the company never informed us. The only reason I found out was because my homeowners insurance kept sending letters to me stating they hadn't heard from anyone at LPA. I called and emailed the company many times, finally heard back and they apologized, said they appointed someone new to our case. The new caseworker didn't have a clue what was going on with our case, very disorganized and disrespectful. Spoke with my husband and was very unprofessional. Long story short, after being put down and treated like complete garbage, we broke our contract with Liberty after almost 8 months of waiting for them to help us and worked directly with our homeowners insurance who covered all the damages right away! Liberty still made us pay them a couple thousand dollars (a month before Christmas) even though they did nothing at all for us. If we didn't pay they stated they would take us to court which would end up costing us more money and time. Do NOT work with this company!! All they did was cause us frustration and heartbreak and a whole lot of money. read more

This company is a sham. My parents used them to assist with claims from Hurricane Sandy. They charged them thousands of dollars to do less than what anyone would consider reasonable. Misrepresenting an elderly couple trying to cope with the loss of their home and belongings. They refuse to communicate with us by either phone, email, or letter ignoring all pleas for any information regarding our account. I would never use them again and will advise any of my friends and family to do the same. read more
