I called Proshred because our old company wasn't showing up and had horrible customer service. Proshred dropped bins off to our office almost immediately and took what ever we had to shred that same day. We had a major purge at an office we moved out of and they didn't balk at all. They showed up, were very professional and friendly. Proshred is a great company to work with, they are very professional and from the very first phone call, you can tell that they are a customer oriented organization. They scheduled our service date in a very timely manner, and I was told that I could call the morning of the scheduled date to get a time frame when the driver would be at our location. I was truly impressed with the level of professionalism and courtesy demonstrated throughout my experience with Proshred Southern New Jersey of West Berlin. My elderly dad had 10 trash bags filled with papers to shred, so the convenience of having Proshred come to his house in Burlington County was appreciated. I was able to watch the shredding via a camera mounted on the side of the truck. Best of all, the technician/driver, DG, was exceptionally polite, friendly, and efficient. In a way, it was kind of an emotional experience watching my dad's papers get shredded because he had held onto them for decades. DG was empathetic and understanding about the situation, so that was comforting. I would absolutely use Proshred Southern New Jersey again. Two thumbs up! read more

for years and years, i've been holding on to boxes and bins filled with papers and receipts that i've amassed over the course of my adult life because i am too lazy to shred things myself, and too paranoid about having my identity stolen to just throw them out. it's always puzzled me that for the longest time, there weren't really any consumer-oriented shredding services out there, as pretty much all shredding companies tend to target businesses and corporations. thankfully, companies like ProShred have recognized that there are lots of lazy, paranoid people like me out there who are willing to pay for a company to shred decades of their personal information that they are sick of moving from apartment to apartment. ProShred themselves were a pleasure to use. they came out to my home with their truck which is also the shredder. the guy brought a humongous 96 gallon bin right to my door and helped me transfer all my documents from my collection of bins, bags and boxes into his container. the flat fee they charge for that one 96 gallon bin is very reasonable, and it easily fit the 2 decades of papers that i have been needlessly holding on to. after filling the bin, i walked out to the truck with him, and was able to watch all of my papers being shredded inside the truck. i can't imagine how much it would have cost me if i brought my stuff to a place that charges by the pound (like office depot, etc), and those places just ship it off to an actual shredding company so you don't get the same peace of mind as watching your documents get destroyed before your very eyes. i would definitely use this company again (although hopefully i won't have to because i am trying my hardest to live a paper free life). read more
