Your office advertises limited Sunday availability for extractions, which is the ONLY reason I made that drive. I was trying to avoid going to the ER, where care is often rushed and not handled by dental specialists. I was also explicitly told that although you normally require a Saturday consultation, you would accommodate me by doing BOTH the consultation and extraction the same day if it was needed. Because of that, I followed pre-op instructions, including being NPO after midnight to prepare for conscious sedation. After driving three hours in pain and showing up as instructed, I was met with a doctor who appeared completely unprepared and unsure of what was even scheduled. He had no clear answers, no confidence, and honestly seemed unaware he might be performing surgery that day. When I asked a very simple, direct question--if the tooth needed to come out, would he remove it--I was told he "couldn't give an answer." That is beyond unacceptable. This wasn't a complicated question--it's the entire reason I made the trip. The lack of communication, lack of preparation, and overall lack of professionalism was shocking. The doctor's demeanor alone--shaky, uncertain, and unable to provide basic clarity--was enough for me to lose all confidence in allowing him anywhere near my mouth. No patient in severe pain should be told one thing, follow pre-surgical instructions, drive hours for emergency care, and then be met with confusion and incompetence. If this is the level of coordination and confidence your practice offers, people deserve to know before trusting you with something as serious as oral surgery--especially in an emergency situation.

During that time, I watched multiple patients check in after me and get called before me, which was extremely frustrating. No one acknowledged the long wait or apologized for the inconvenience. After waiting two hours, I finally gave up and left. Ironically, shortly after I left, I received a phone call asking if I was still in the lobby. At that point, I had already wasted enough of my time. The waiting room was packed the entire time, and it seemed obvious that the office overbooks appointments without having an effective way to manage the schedule. Respecting patients' time is important, especially for new patients, and unfortunately this experience left a very poor first impression. I am very disappointed with my experience at this dental office…read more I went in for a tooth extraction, which was already very expensive, but the experience was much worse than I expected. I waited almost three hours after being numbed before the procedure even started. The extraction itself then took about two more hours, for a total of nearly five hours at the office. During the procedure, the dentist used a great deal of force, and I left feeling much more traumatized than I expected. My neighboring tooth was chipped, and a crown on the opposite side came loose during the extraction. The dentist placed the crown back temporarily and told me they wanted to monitor it instead of permanently fixing it. When I returned for my follow-up appointment, the staff appeared confused about why I was there. They were already preparing me for a filling, even though I had only come to have my stitches removed. When I told the assistant that I was only there for my post-operative visit, she said she thought it had already been done. When the dentist came in, he immediately tried to convince me to get the filling instead. I brought up my loose crown and the chipped tooth, and his response was that it didn't matter because he would fix everything later when I got a bridge. The bridge they recommended costs $4,400. I later received a second opinion from another dentist, who quoted me $1,800 for the same type of treatment. Throughout my visits, I also felt that the dentist's tone was dismissive and unnecessarily harsh, which made me feel uncomfortable. Overall, I left feeling unheard, disappointed, and without confidence in the care I received. I cannot recommend this office based on my experience.
