I wish I could give negative stars. This company is ran by idoits. It took them 2 hrs and 2 drivers later to come unlock my car. I got locked out at 3pm and called Progressive Roadside Assistance who assign me to these fools. At 3:25pm I called for an ETA...they told me 30 min or less (LIE!!) At 3:51pm the driver called and said he was 20 min away due to traffic. At 4:17pm I called him back and he said "they canceled the call with me and assigned another driver...sorry"..WTH?! So I called Liberty Towing and asked the guy, "Why did you cancel my service call!", he lied and said "We are sending a driver who is closer and he will be there soon". 8 min later (4:25pm) the new driver calls and said (wait for it)............"I'm 20 minutes away". WTF??!! I went off, not on him but to him about his company. He finally arrived around 5 pm...NEVER USE THEM! read more

I wish i could give a no star review. If you're looking for a tow it's best to contact a different company. I scheduled services at 8:30AM I was given an ETA of 45 min. They called me at 11:30 AM to let me know that there was a 45-minute delay, I called them at 12:45 and I was told that there is another 30 min delay. At this point I don't need their service. Wow! What excellent service and professionalism by this Company! After two failed attempts to get a jump start by two separate vehicles, we decided to call for roadside assistance! Here came Jose from Liberty Tow! We told him about our prior failed attempts to get our car running, but he was determined to get us back on the road! My car broke down and started leaking antifreeze everywhere. My roadside service from my insurance company sent this tow company. The dispatcher was so sweet and made it for a great experience. She called me to make sure I was safe and on the side of the road and didn't need anything while I was waiting. When the two driver came, he was so courteous and helpful. He gave me a cold bottle of water and helped me into his truck for the ride to the shop. I told him I was going to Budget Auto Repair in Moreno Valley and he knew them. Told me I was making a great choice and I told him they're my mechanic because I've had great experiences there. So friendly, this driver, and talked to me about his kids and their school. They provided a jump, this company went through our manufacturer's roadside​ assistant service. They stated they would be here in an hour, however hour and ten minutes later called them back the dispatchers claimed the driver was busy and would be there in a few minutes. About thirty-five minutes later he showed up and gave us a jump, asked him if he was busy and his words were "not really". The issue is not how long we had to wait, overpromising and under delivering is a joke in today's day and age. Would have happily waited, but false expectations and discreditable conduct are embarrassing. Two-stars for the driver, he was a good guy, knocked it out fast, one and done. read more

My car blew a tire on Christmas Eve and I was stuck in a very scary situation, thankfully PRESTON came to the rescue and was able to change my tire very quickly, very polite and courteous. Sadly, as I drove off another tire blew out (must've hit something) but thankfully PRESTON was behind me, pulled over and was able to give me a tow. I highly recommend Liberty towing! AVOID AT ALL COST!! Charging me almost $800 for tricking me me to have my vehicle towed back to their facility. They first offered me $100 charge if towed back to my home. My house is only 2miles away from the scene. I agreed to and then they persuaded me that they have connections to a body shop. That everything would be taken care of my insurance and they won't charge anything else besides the tow back. I contacted my insurance and was warned to reach the tow yard IMMEDIATELY to retrieve my car. My car being TOWED LAST NIGHT and I am being charged almost $800 to take the car today. They were supposed to tow the car to a dealership, but impounded it without notice because they wanted to get paid first. Getting it towed to the dealership required paying $490 of the impound fee and then waiting 2 1/2 hours before they towed it. Why so long? They were waiting for the dealership to pay the rest. Called so my car could be towed at 8pm was given an eta for it to come between 10:25-10:45pm. Called them up at 1am they said the driver just finished some other client. Called them up again at 3am and was told the driver would call me. Never got a call. It is now 4:21 am and the driver just got here. Beyond fucking frustrated. Lets start the previous night I requested a tow around 7:15 pm because my serpentine belt blew. So the automated message says ETA. 45 mins which i can understand graveyard not many drivers out. So 45 mins go by and nothing. So i call. So today at 8:30 this morning I requested a tow from my house to mechanic. Get a call about 15-20 mins after that saying once again another "45-1 hour" so im like okay thats fine 9:30 goes by nothing 10:30 nothing. So I finally call them at 12:15 pm they state that they are very "swamped" with other calls and the driver who was in the area was to pick my car up next since he was IN THE AREA OF where i live. So 2 hours later nothing so i call ONCE AGAIN and i tell them my mechanic closes within the next few hours whats taking so long. So he asks what time does the mechanic close. I tell him 5. He ensures me that my car will be there before closing. Legit almost 3 hours go by Nothing. No call or anything. And ended up having to reschedule with my mechanic. Missing a full Day of work And cancelling the Tow. At 4:45pm And now im gonna have to miss half the day tomorrow. Having to deal with this once again I understand busy and swamped but are you freaking kidding me over 8 hours backed up? Dont lie to customers by giving them Incorrect Or unsure ETA times. I wanted to make sure I left this review because I was really impressed with the service provided. I was offered there services through my insurance company when I had a flat recently. I just got off a night shift, had a sprained wrist, and was experiencing a bad day. At first I was truly upset because of the wait times I was given by my insurance company. I attempted to change it myself but it was too hard for a person with no experience . I received a call from there services on the hour long wait and broke down. I was really upset and scared because of the heavy trafficked area I was in with crazy drivers speeding around me. The technician I spoke with calmed me down and was so patient and understanding. I was lucky to have Kyle that day which helped me truly. I had been crying for hours and instantly felt comforted by his presence. He was so helpful and even explained what I did right and wrong when trying to attempt to change my flat myself. I truly grateful to have had him to help that day. Overall, I was given nothing but comfort and quality service from this company in a time I felt very upset and vulnerable. They are contracted with Geico Roadside Assistance so they were assigned to me. Was originally given a 1 hour window which was fine. After the hour went by I was called and told it would be another 25 min. After 35 min went by I called and was told 15 min. After 20 min went by I called geico and they reached out to Liberty and were told 10-15 more minutes. So it's now almost 2 hours since my original request and no tow truck. So we had a driver about 30 minutes out at 740pm. His eta was 8:13pm. It hit 820 and I called, I was told he was 10 minutes out. At 9pm I called and I was told that there was drama with the driver and that he didn't want to take the call and was told to go home. They said they didn't know what to do other than send the next driver who was 1 hour out. I agreed, it is now 1036. 1 hour and 36 minutes later and still no tow truck. I have USAA as well, like a recent poster. I just needed them to unlock my car. I was first given a 45 min quote. I called after an hour and was told 20 more minutes. Called after 25 minutes, told the driver would call me. Called back 5 minutes later and still no call. They have the wrong number. Still waiting on a call back as the woman answering the phone was basically like, "I just work here." They will most likely not get here before Toyota closes and I won't have a car until Monday. No stars. I too will make a formal complaint with USAA. They need to be dropped. He finally called me. "Another 15 mins" but he can't promise. LOL. If you want to find the epitome of incompetence and laziness look no further than liberty towing! The dispatchers are generally lazy and can barely manage to return phone calls and give accurate estimates of time. If they say 20mins count on at least an hour and a half. Overall they do not have individual clientele. The depend on Good Sam and other contracted services. They are horrible and one star is a bit generous. Literally call anyone else.
