I guess my second visit left me with a bad taste in my mouth to start with.. This was several weeks ago, but stopped in to buy a bottle of liquid.. I tried to pay with a credit card and the female employee asked for ID since the back of my card was not signed.. I explained that I really didnt want to have to go all the way out to my car IN THE RAIN to get it but she refused the sale unless I did.. A little ridiculous for a $12 purchase.. Today I stopped by to see if they had a replacement charger which they did not.. After visiting another shop in Lansdowne I have come to realize the selection at Liberty vapors sucks.. Claudia, In a world of self service pin pads EVERYWHERE YOU GO how many ID's are being checked? I would be more understanding if my card said "See ID" on the back..I have NEVER been asked for ID for a credit card purchase in the hundreds of times I have used that card at restaurants, stores, etc.. TLDR: This is a LONG overdue review of the Sterling location for Liberty Vapors. Since this shop has opened I have rarely gone to the Ashburn location (I do try to get there, but it's farther away from where I work and live). This location is first on my list as my "Go To" shop. It is the best shop in the area, and I can't recommend it highly enough. It is also one of the only vape shops I know that offers a discount for veterans and military. The fact that they recognize the sacrifices made for our country says a LOT about the owners and their values. Full Review: Customer service and support is just as exceptional as the Ashburn location, AK and Claudia have done a great job of maintaining their standards in both shops. They have set very high standards, and they stand behind their products. I have personally seen this time and time again while watching the employees deal with customers that come in with issues. Almost every time, the customer leaves very happy. It is clear that the high standards are working in their favor. As for the staff, there are a couple of people that absolutely stand out, at least in my mind. I'll take a few minutes to try and address them adequately. First and foremost, I have to say that Gabe provides EXCELLENT customer service and professionalism, and the Liberty Vapors is going to feel the loss when he leaves. He has a LOT of knowledge in all areas related to vaping. He goes out of his way to help the customer and is able to troubleshoot any problems they may be having. He does not try to upsell anyone products that they don't need, or that are too advanced for them, just to make a few bucks. His integrity is beyond reproach and he goes the extra mile (within the constraints of his position) to ensure customer satisfaction. He listens very well and can easily assess what a new customer needs and determine the best products to meet their needs, all based on a few moments of discussion. Second on the list is Raz. Much like Gabe, he has a lot of knowledge and is very good at troubleshooting problems with vape gear. He is always pleasant and very engaging in conversation, when time allows. He knows his products and can speak very intelligently about many aspects of vaping. He does everything in his power to assist customers and ensure they leave happy. Finally, I want to mention DJ. She is a (relatively) new employee, and somewhat junior, but her enthusiasm more than makes up for her limited experience. She is exceptionally friendly, and always has a smile on her face. Her attitude is infectious and helps diffuse difficult situations with customers. She is continuing to gain experience and grow professionally, and seems to learn very quickly. She has a LOT of potential and I expect her to fill some of the gaps when Gabe leaves. As for the juice choices, Liberty Vapors carries only the finest. Even though I only get the same flavor every time I go in, I have noticed that the juice selection continues to expand and grow. I occasionally do try new flavors, hoping to find a new one, but so far my taste buds aren't cooperating, but this isn't their fault. The one "complaint" I could potentially make is that the selection (not quantity) of hardware keeps getting smaller and smaller. There is not a lot of diversity in the tanks and mods they sell. There are a LOT of SMOK products (tanks and mods), but very few others. While this looks great to have a ton of different colored mods in the display case, there isn't really a choice of much more than color schemes. I have also noticed that they are now selling "fidget spinners", which have NOTHING to do with vaping, yet consume a lot of space in the display cabinet. I know that a lot of Vape Shops have started to sell these, and they are pretty popular, but I think it detracts from the primary purpose of a Vape Shop. My personal opinion would be to get rid of these, or shrink the selection, and bring in a better selection of vaping hardware. In fairness though, the Ashburn location has traditionally always had a better selection of equipment, although I have not been in there lately to see what they have. read more

To be fair they have Very nice employees, but poor customer service. I go out of my way to return my business to Liberty Vapors because of how nice and helpful they were. Today 6 Jan my Vape had a manufacturing defect that wouldn't replicate in store within the 30 day window as per SOP Liberty Vapors and they wouldn't refund, return, switch, or give me store credit. I would gladly accept store credit and give them more business as I was going to buy a better more expensive Vape today. I ended up leaving my Vape in their store and left as obviously they need it more than I do. read more
