Great barbershop. I've been looking for a barbershop in the area now for a while and tried a few different ones in New Hope and Doylestown area. Mike has cut my hair for over ten years, and I couldn't be happier with the shop's cleanliness, professionalism, location, and friendly atmosphere! Whether you want to hear the latest small-town news, need advice re: local happenings or venues, or just want to relax without conversation, Librizzi's is the place to be. Lots of magazines to read if you have a short wait, and the walls are filled with vintage toy relics that can bring back a lot of memories. Went into Librizzi's to get a haircut. I'm from out of town so I relied on reviews to select a barber shop. After going there I can say with absolute honesty that they're all crap. Librizzis is the single worst haircut I have ever gotten. She dry shaved my face using clippers and then an electric razor to finish up. Should be using a straight razor, and shaving cream. No hot towel, no shampoo after the haircut, no aftershave to keep my face from being irritated. The haircut was OK at best. It just seemed like they wanted me out of there. Completely ruined my day, and my trip. I would recommend nobody visit this place if they value their appearance and money. read more

I got my hair cut by Mike, and I was tremendously satisfied. He is a true barber. He is extremely proficient, thorough, and patient. I especially admire that he takes pride in his work. Not only is he professional, he is also friendly and welcoming. If you need a military haircut, Mike knows how to do it. It can be hard to find someone who knows how to do a good fade, but he is very capable. He even finishes up with with a straight razor shave on your neck with hot shaving cream, which is also hard to find away from a military base. The inside of the shop is clean and welcoming, and is decorated with a tasteful collection of antiques. I appreciate businesses run by people who care about the personal relationship with their customers and take pride in their work. They take ownership of this barber shop and are committed to giving you a good experience. read more

I lived near New hope for 12 years and Librizzi's barbers gave me haircuts for the entire time. They are a superior barber shop, always friendly and extremely proficient. They are, to my mind, what a real "neighborhood" barber shop should be. I moved to Hawaii in April 2011 and haven't been able to find an equivalent barber here in six months. The Librizzi's barbers knew me after only one haircut and each time I returned. Truly personal service all the time, every time. Great for kids too-- no noise or fuss.
