She really took the time to do it right and was super thorough. And she offered to clean it up in 2 weeks time, so my cut will last even longer. Soo used to work at 18/8 men's salon at Marketfair and has brought some of the same relaxing touches with her. Her salon is comfortable and cozy, and very conveniently located. (great sandwhich shop right next door). Soo is prompt and easy to schedule with at a convenient time. In my experience, she is also highly skilled at her craft, and a pleasant person to talk with. My haircut and neck shave came to $45. While not cheap, I nonetheless found it a good value given the time she spent to learn how I like my hair and to clean up my look with great care, as well as her offer to do a refresh to extend the life of my cut in 2 weeks. Plus the hot neck massage and scalp massage. I definitely left relaxed. Highly recommended.

My favorite is Doreen--a real pro, but best to make an appointment for her. She really listens to what I want, and she is an artist when it comes to coloring.

They should have given me a clear understanding of what I was booking. The place is very nice. The two guys at the front desk look like they work in a gas station. That was off-putting. The person who did the treatment was great. The treatment was great. The manager refunded the extra money after much discussion. This place would be amazing but the pricing is extremely high and the service menu needs to be alot clearer. I went there to try and relax and ended up stressed out instead. If you don't know exactly what you want coming in, she'll work with you to figure that out. She is meticulous with a great attention to detail - even though there's usually someone waiting, she takes her time with you until it's perfect. And it's not like other salons I've been to where I feel pressured by other people waiting to get their haircuts; because it's so big and spacious I cannot physically see anyone waiting, so I feel calm and peaceful the entire time. Then, as you walk out you see the people waiting, not because the stylists are running late, but because people just get here early because this place rocks.
