They never lifted the step to pull it up to the front porch, but just shot in some ugly brownish gooey fill on that top step and on some narrow cracks on our walkway. The fill oozed out and made everything look 1000x worse than the way it looked before they did any work. They basically put a bandaid on the cracks and separations and made our front steps and walkway look absolutely ugly and embarrassing. We've been fighting them for weeks to make it right or to refund our money but to no avail. I read their so called "glowing reviews" from prior customers before hiring them so I thought we would be very satisfied. We weren't and now we are at a loss of $2400 and will now have to hire another company to come in and fix their mess.

He gave us an invoice for work to be done on our driveway. It's supposed to come with a two-year warranty. He wanted us to make the checks payable to his name and not the company. He would go to the bank and cash the check directly apparently. During the project he moved an expensive piece of outdoor furniture and did not move it back after completing it, because of where and how he left it, it ended up being damaged and having to be replaced. I provided all the information to him about the original cost and the cost of replacement (which was less than what I originally paid), explained my attempts to get just parts for it from the manufacturer instead and the video of it being damaged. He never responded to my request for remedy of the damaged furniture when I sent him the proof of price. The rock work was okay. He changed the scope in the middle of the job and didn't finish one section of it, so I got pretty confused on how the final invoice amount was arrived at. From the amount of work and materials we removed from the quote midway through the project to the final product, it didn't seem quite right. Also, he didn't put the landscaping fabric under the edging, so I have a ton of unexpected weed control I have to manage now when the purpose of installing the rock was to be lower / easier maintenance because, again, I have a disability that affects my mobility. He's a hard worker I just wish he would have made things right regarding my damaged property. He told me his insurance doesn't cover wind damage and did not offer any other remedy. If he'd worked with me to replace the furniture that was damaged, I would have given him a higher rating, but as it is, this is my honest opinion of the value, quality and overall customer experience I received. I can't recommend this business at this time and will be letting the division of Yelp that oversees contractor recommendations know as well since I found him through them.

His work is meticulously accomplished and during the estimate he noticed that my concrete steps at the back of my house needed repair, so he built a new set of concrete steps for me at no additional cost, just so we would have new, safe concrete steps at the rear entrance which also compliments our new driveway which looks much more professionally worked than we expected.
