Head check is only $35 and then they tack on a ridiculous $125 travel fee.... Given they are a mobile service, minimum fee for anyone using them will be $160. Guy took a while 2 min to check my hair and said you're good. I pushed him to be more thorough. When he checked further, he found some lice. After the treatment which I still don't believe was well done, he couldn't tell me their guarantee policy. He didn't walk through Aftercare instructions. Poor poor job. read more

I recommend calling around. Their prices are about 2x other services I called, and if you get reinfested you'll have to pay the full cost all over again. Here we are a month later and having to spend another several hundred dollars. Courtney was really unhelpful when I called. I have no idea how I got lice since I don't have any children. I completely freaked out. I called a few places and they couldn't see me for a few days since it was heading into the weekend. Yep....this happened to us. I guess it comes with becoming a parent. When I found lice the first time in one of my children's hair, I tired over the counter everything plus home remedies that I read about. I buzzed my other child's hair. I was unbelievably stressed out the day the phone call from school came telling me that our kids had lice. I called Tracey, and she was able to work us in that day! As it turns out, 4/5 of our family had lice, and it took over 5 hours to comb through all of us, but she was so thorough and professional and patiently answered my millions of questions. I would definitely recommend purchasing a lice comb from her - you definitely do not want poor quality when it comes to your lice comb! When I needed this treatment service, Tracey with Lice Happens was wonderful. She of course got rid of the lice problem, but she also spent the time to educate me!! The information was valid and applicable and really relieved the "ick" factor. They may do a great job treating people with lice but we never got that far. They refused to honor a price that my daughters school told us they would (free checks for family and you pay if needs treating) and that the lice company we went with did. Came on a Sunday on short notice. While she was doing the treatment, she took the time to explain how to prevent and treat lice in the future. Did a great job putting us all (including my toddler) at ease. Was great to have her come to my house instead of having to go somewhere. (And don't worry, there is no "LICE HAPPENS" van or anything, she is discreet, so your neighbors won't know.) I called Tracy in a panic yesterday afternoon and she was kind enough to come to my house at 8:30 this morning. Three hours of gentle, effective combing later and all four of us were clear of these nasty bugs.
