I took this class today and it was outstanding. George is not only very knowledgeable, but he is very entertaining, which keeps you engaged throughout the 3-4 hour session. And for obvious reasons, it's important that you pay attention to everything being taught in this course. I was not a stranger to shooting when I took this class, but when I walked out, I felt for the first time like I understood all of the basics. You will learn a lot, even if you think you already know what you need to know. He also diagnosed a problem with my grip as soon as we hit the range for the last part of the class. He showed me where I had missed low and left, and explained that it was because I was gripping the front of the handle too tightly. I loosened my grip with that part of my hand and proceeded to hit the lower part of the bullseye five consecutive times in a tight cluster. Given his immediate diagnosis and fix, he obviously knows his craft very well. All in all, I highly recommend George and this course. read more

I was originally going to go for Top Gun since it was closer to my house, but after being turned down for not having fired a pistol before and explained to me that he basically cared more about his reputation as the head NRA Instructor and said that he couldn't have anything tarnish that. If i still wanted to go take the certificate with him, it would run me 399 dollars i simply hung up. This man actually turned away a customer and told me to go buy a 60-100 dollar 1-2 hr course, say-less i'll take my money elsewhere and never will i do business with them. License2Carry would've been my first choice had it been closer to my house in the first place but am i glad i went here, had a very nice and small class when i attended, Mr. Caro was very informative and throughly explained questions asked by the class. During the final phase of the class where you shoot your 10 rounds, he helps out first time shooters by explaining to them how to get a tighter grouping, where/how to aim and grip, wrist and elbow positioning, he was a good teacher and i will most definitely refer him to friends and family. Jorge is so knowledgable! Went through the course (9AM-1PM) which ran over just a little bit. The going over of time was in our best interest as it was a question and answer session. He fully explains how to apply for your CCW and what is the best way to go about doing so. Jorge has a great demeanor. I believe he told us he's been around firearms since as early as 8 years of age. You can definitely see his experience not only in the class but on the range. He makes the class super enjoyable and really touches and point that other ccw classes fail to mention. He even opens the door for you to come back should you need anything regarding the purchase of a firearm, or questions about your firearm. I live in Miami and want to take to a conceal carry course. I decided AGAINST doing it at the gun shows, because I consider this something very important and I didn't want it to be rushed and I wanted to be able to ask questions on a personal basis. My buddy found the link online through Google and suggest week then out after seeing Georges website. George was professional, courteous and responded quickly when I contacted him to register me and my buddy for his course a few days in advance. He messaged me a quick confirmation text giving me the location one and his contact info. Perfect! We were set. I forgot the exact number of years George has been instructing but he has a lot of experience under his belt, maybe 10 years? It shows in his patience, attitude, and knowledge. He is well spoken, did not mind when we briefly interrupted him for a questions so I wouldn't forget it. Once or twice he was guilty of giving us extra info and going into more detail and explaining what we asked about in depths He explained what the class provides, how and where to set the appointment to apply for the Conceal Carry Permit once the course is complete. The classroom setting is intimate, it seats probably 6 + the instructor. He provided is a handout, which we kept and I wrote on the back pages of as I took notes on things that stood out and wrote down thoughts n questions. The office building was clean, bathrooms outside the office. He provided a quick break to stretch an hour and a half in. He spoke about: safety rules, how to load and reload a firearm, explained ammunition, proper grip, proper sight, and proper trigger control. This is a summary of my notes, he also addressed several other things I didn't mention and had plenty of video examples of DONTS and WHAT NOT TO DO, which were excellent. After the course was over, we drove down the street about 4 blocks to Ace Indoor Gun range. (Yes they might have bad reviews, management has changed and the people there also!) The range fee was included in the fee for the license. I suggest, bring all the questions you can think! Bring some water. I don't recall seeing a water fountain or vending machine but there might be one. He was on the 4th floor. 406b. They might have that on other floors not sure though. And last but not least bring a friend or two! I went with my buddy and it was fun, informative learned a lot, and we both are getting our conceal carry course. The class started at 9 and to be honest even George was surprised we all showed up on time and not on MCT, (Miami Cuban Time) and hour late. Haha. Thanks George! Keep it up. read more

I decided to take the CCW license course and after browsing the Internet and read all the reviews George has I decided to take it with him and took my brother with me, although I've been hunting and around firearms all my life George gave me fundamental information and tips regarding proper handle and safety issues and how to react in any case. George is very professional at what he does and very friendly, after the class he took us to the range and instruct us on proper grip and loading tips for fast loading. I defiantly recommend License2carry to anyone who wants to have the license issued, I got mine on my mailbox just 7 days after I applied. Looking forward for the defensive shooting class with him.
