The shop is very large and would seat a number of people comfortably, but looks a little spare right now. There were some annoying people in there discussing politics very loudly, acting like they were defending their own honor or something. They took up a lot of the counter time trying to engage the young server with their political discussion (I guess trying to get him to agree) and I think a more experienced customer service person would have been better able to deflect their questions and move things along. A manager probably should have been on site to make that happen. My daughter had Muddy Boots and liked it, my husband had Maine Blueberry and loved it, and I had chocolate, which was very good. The cashier whom I'm assuming is the owner/wife was extremely kind and did not even take a second glance at our SD. She took our orders and we patiently waited at a table as the other owner/husband prepared our desserts. We realized they had opened their store in memory of their deceased daughter. Our ice creams were ready and my god, when I tell you it was some of the best ice cream I've ever had, I mean it! So creamy, so flavorful. My cookies and cream milkshake was packed with bursts of cookie cream and cookie bits. It was thick but not too thick to the point where I would have to eat it with a fork. Everything was wonderful. My fiancé enjoyed his root beer float, and I did too! We shared just about everything, even taking a bite out of our SD's ice cream cup, which he inhaled. The self serve store has many ways they process goat milk but the gelato is our favorite. The mint flavor is bright and the gelato is not green because they don't die it green.
