Many flavors of Hershey's hard ice cream, they also have soft ice cream. FYI, all serving sizes can be served in a bowl rather than a cone. I cannot believe how awesome this place is. The selection of ice cream is great, but I must warn you to be careful what size you order if you like soft-serve. The portions are way more than generous. I ordered a small thinking it would be perfect, boy was I wrong. It was more like a XXL serving. There is no wonder why there are always people in line at this place. I was a bit underwhelmed by this place. We were planning on stopping at the end of our trip to get some ice cream and cool off. I looked it up online and it seemed quite nice, but when we got there it didn't look anything like the pictures I saw (it's much more run down now). They have a mini store inside with lots of candy and is very cool too, which is great because we were crazy hot that day. When we wanted ice cream though we were told we had to go outside to order (probably because that's where the menu was) so we decided to order quick and get back in the car to eat in the A/C. They were out of the 2 things I wanted to try so I just got a flurry. Didn't look like I got a lot of candy in my cup of ice cream but I was wrong, she did a good job of mixing it all in and I had a TON of candy, so well done there! Overall not bad. read more

I've grabbed their lunch specials here many times. Their turkey croissant with fries is my favorite lunch item. They always give you a hefty portion, you won't leave hungry. They also have several tempting cakes and desserts lined up where you order. Usually, friendly servers and good food for fast food at lunch. One of the women who cooks there also makes beautiful custom cakes, they have photo's of them all over the store. The only gripes I can find with Gal's is that they have a different lunch special each day so you, have to pick just what they have for that day, they really don't have a consistant menu. The only other thing I've noticed is that in the kitchen, they have several fly strips hanging up, where you can see them, which that isn't very appetizing and may scare some people off. Overall, highly recommend for a good working man's (or woman's) lunch. read more
