Really nice outdoor seating area by the water, take a short walk across the little foot bridge for an almost always empty pavilion, or the village dock with ample parking is just down the road for some different scenery. Service is always friendly and quick. The only thing I don't care for is their chocolate sprinkles. They're the hard crunchy ones that don't taste like chocolate. Not a dealbreaker since the ice cream is so good on its own, but a switch back to the better ones would be much appreciated. Regardless, this is the best ice cream you will find in the area and I will always bring visiting friends here over anywhere else.

I have been coming to this location for years for gas and snacks. The ice cream counter is reasonably priced and there is almost always a sale going on for cones or milkshakes. The ice cream flavors are made by Stewart's and range from classic to unique, my favorites being Fireworks (vanilla with cherry swirl, red and blue pop rocks) and Happy Camper (s'mores). You can also take their ice cream home in half gallons or pints. Stewart's also makes its own brand of drinks - soda, seltzer, iced tea, juice, and in recent years, Keurig cups. Hot coffee and prepared foods like sandwiches, pizza, and baked goods are always available. The best part of this location is that in decades of coming here, I have never had a cashier or counter person that wasn't friendly. You can't say that about too many convenience stores!

Owner very pleasant and friendly. Tried to accommodate our picky toddlers and provided them with a ball to play. Such a relaxed environment, it was very easy to enjoy icecream, while our kids played and went back and forth between grabbing a mouthful of icecream and going back to play. Place radiated with positive atmosphere and relaxed demeanor, just loved everything about it. No stress just icecream and fun! If you are in the area give this place a chance. Oh and they offer other treats like chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels, rice crispies and thos place has a promise of smoothies, I am personally looking forward to that too. I went with peanut butter cup sundae with Playdough (bright yellow vanilla ice cream loaded with colorful sugar cookie chunks), vanilla peanut butter twist, and classic cookie dough. The bottom was hiding a bunch of crushed Reese's cups, and of course the sundae was topped with whipped cream and a cherry. Somehow I forgot to take a picture of my treat.
