We were away for the weekend and it was impossible to find an open dental clinic nearby on a Saturday. We texted him and he called us back promptly and gave us the advice we really needed. I'm a nurse at the hospital and we don't even handle our emergencies that quickly! He was able to fit my son into the schedule that Monday and took such great care of him. Dr. Iggy has been my daughter's dentist for over 6 years, she was always afraid to see the dentist when she was little and it took one visit to Dr. Iggy's office and my daughter wants to go there everyday. He is so patient with kids and he has dental equipment with cartoon characters and different kid friendly flavors to clean her teeth. The whole experience is so amazing. His staff is great as well. The office is clean and their equipment is modern and based on my experience when I would take her I decided to start going there myself. So he is my dentist as well now. I would have to pay $250 to take molds and x-rays before I can be told a price for Invisalign. The woman on the phone realized I was surprised by the cost and tried justifying the cost. I feel like if you feel need to justify the cost than maybe you know that it's out of the ordinary. I went to 6 other dentists (including a few in the area) that was able to schedule a free consultation providing the total cost and the timeframe. I wanted to get an estimated cost to determine where to go to get them done. I feel like when they charge $250 consultation fee this will deter cost conscious patients and most people once, they pay that fee will feel obligated to get their work done here since they already paid $250. I also feel like this would be the type of dentist that would nickle and dime you for everything since they are charging a fee to give a basic estimate of cost. I understand that the doctor is doing work and they shouldn't work for free. However, I went to two other dentist in the area (in the same 1-mile radius) that took 15 minutes and they either provided a full cost (and they did the x-rays for free) or gave an estimate cost with a basic look in my mouth and that took less than 5 minutes.

They let you accompany your child and watch while the hygienist does the cleaning. The hygienist was extremely skilled at getting my toddler daughter to follow directions, singing silly songs to distract her and at the end my daughter received a goody bag with a toothbrush, mini toothpaste, stickers. No cavities yet and the cleanings seems efficient and thorough. My only gripe would be they don't have any weekend / Friday appointments.

Dental Service is just ok... revolving dentist seems to be dental students or fresh out of dental school bouncing between this office and their other boro park office. There are other more modern pediatric dentistries with TVs all over their walls and ceilings to keep your young kids from knowing what the dentist are doing.
