One of the best place I have been to. Its almost similar to Aldi but the Midl isle is where I almost everytime do compulsive buying. Some of the things are really cheap. For example, their ice-cream or pre-cooked Indian meals. I found 6 ice cream cones fo 99 cents - without a sale. Might not have the best ingredients but was really cheap. The best thing hands down is the bakery section which is both cheap and fresh. The people on the counter are really friendly as well. Tip: Do get their app as their have a lot of coupons that you can unlock and get discounts. read more

I've never had any issues with Lidl at this location, and their pastries are great (see the blueberry cheese muffin below). Their prices beat most of their competitors, unless you catch a good sale elsewhere, but keep in mind Lidl also discounts products that are approaching their best by dates. The cashiers keep the lines moving quickly, and the app allows you to scan your membership/loyalty account from your phone. Inside has always been pretty clean whenever I've been in there. I don't know what Mark H.'s problem is, but if he wants to gnat pick about dead insects that are in an area where only sealed items are stored, then why does he keep shopping here? read more

Lidl - Blueberry cheese muffins - Grocery Near Me - Woodstock, Georgia

Recently, this location has put on a masterclass in how to turn loyal customers into former customers. I have shopped here since the day it opened. I have told other people about this store. And now, I am done. First issue with this store is that when you come, you never know which version of the store you are going to get. Some days, it's a decent enough experience. Other times, like today, the store looks like something out of a communist country, with unstocked shelves, poor fresh quality(there was a sticky substance on every single one of the packs of beef that I was going to buy), and a line that stretched across the front of all the aisles before they finally decided to do something. The constant lack of stock is ridiculous. There's nothing I hate more than having to go to the grocery store after I just went to the grocery store because one store couldn't keep basic stock on hand. What's even more pathetic is that they will run sales, and then not send in enough stock to be able to honor the price. This used to be a decently run store, but something has clearly happened here. Corporate needs to get a hold of this situation. This is no longer a store that I am going to frequent. read more

Let me begin with a visit on 3/15 at 12:24 pm. The second time we have been in there since the day of the grand opening. I noticed hundreds of dead bugs which appeared to be gnats on the 2-liters of soda, the cans, shelves, and floor. They were also on the water side of the isle and floor. I did not notice any in the walking area of the isle so possible they have been swept up. I had privately told the young assistant manager and showed him. We made our purchase and left. One week later on 3/22 at 1:05 we revisited the location and I found 3 packages of ground pork dated 3/22 (Key point in this story) so I inquired to the same assistant manager from the prior week about the orange stickers they have and was told that those will be marked down about 4pm that evening and to come back then. We made our way to the water isle to stock up on flavored water and again noticed hundreds of dead gnats covering things still/again we made our purchase and left. Luckily I did take photos of the insects on both visits which I have to verify my dates and times of visits. Now to tonight's incident 3/24. My wife and I stopped to get more flavored waters and dinner items. I saw a package of the ground pork with the sticker and 3/22 date on it on the back wall next to a marked down half gallon of milk and a box of 10 slice packages of cheese that have been markdown. Took the package of ground pork and about a dozen flavored waters to the check out. I inquired to the man at the register who was not wearing a nametag so I can not name him, however, I would say 40's maybe 5'10" maybe 220lbs with a slightly reddish beard. I asked if they usually have meat past the date for sale. He informed me they sell through the date. I mentioned I attempted to purchase it on 3/22 and he said that is when it would have been marked down for the 23rd. I then asked why would it still be on the shelf for sale then since it is the 24th? He response was "It wasn't, I know for a fact there were 3 packs and they were dated 3/26" When I had looked at that location (where they are merchandised) earlier there were 2 so no issue. I then asked, "How did I find it then if you know for a fact it was not in the store?" "I don't know" was his response. I then asked "What do you think I brought it in the store?" His reply "Well yes, it's the only thing that makes sense" A couple more back and forth affording him the opportunity to think on his response, I even asked several times if they have cameras and he could look at the video. Then I directly asked him "Are you calling me a liar" Then he doubled down on his claim. At this point I told him exactly where I found it and what was surrounding on the back shelf. At that moment he went in to apology mode but the damage was done. Yes I did got elevated in my tone no curse words were used as my wife and I left our purchase on the belt and walked out. I saw 4 other customers outside where I apologized for raising my voice and all four agreed I handled it fine and he did not. read more

Authentic German bakery section! Prices are way less than in other supermarkets. Aldi is good too, but Lidl has a better product variety.

Was here recently and purchased numerous items, including their brand of diced tomatoes. Yesterday I opened the can for a recipe, and upon emptying it into a bowl, a square piece of black foam rubber was in the can. With all the other ingredients in the bowl, obviously everything was ruined- contaminated. Today, I returned the can with the rubber contaminant inside and showed it to the store manager, asking for nothing, only informing him of the issue and potential problem for their customers. I wasn't prepared for his response of "... I'll let the higher ups know about it..." and he blew it off. (He might have asked if it made me sick... or did it ruin your meal... or is there anything I can do. Nope. I simply said Thank You and I left. Yep, I left with a grocery list with $150-200 on it and went to a more familiar, well known grocery store. You can keep Lydl along with their complacent attitudes. With that kind of lackadaisical attitude, heaven only know what foreign objects and contaminates are waiting to be found in their foods... Obviously they don't care. read more

Lidl opened with a bang back in October but my family and I finally ventured over to check it out in March. To be honest, it really didn't blow me away. I had heard that it was "Aldi on steroids." Though components were bigger and better than Aldi, the pricing left me wanting more. Like many grocery stores, Lidl is the type of store that you need to get used to shopping -- what is available there, what is a good price, and what you'll need to go elsewhere to buy. For me personally, I didn't leave excited enough to want to return and will probably continue to stick with Costco and Trader Joe's in the future. read more

What a disappointment, in the midst of a pandemic, all sanitizing station with trash cans overflowing of used wipes, and all over the floor. This is a brand new store, opened last week. You'd think management would keep it pristine clean. I didn't feel safe, they have zero priority into people's safety in COVID era. Even if we weren't living through a pandemic, leaving the trash cans like this is unacceptable for a facility dealing with food. If to the consumers eyes, right at the entrance, they leave things like this. I cannot imagine what goes in this store when the doors are closed. read more

Been to this LIDL twice to purchase items advertised for sale. Both times the sale items I wanted were oyr of stock and store personnel had no idea if and when they would be restocked. LIDL is not worth the drive when they seem to be stocked out of what you go there for! read more

I have been to this store at this location several times now. The people that work there are so nice and helpful, however the customers that shop there are rude and inconsiderate. It's got to be hard to have patience to deal with the rude customers, anyway, enjoying trying new things from this store. While the inventory changes frequently, there is always something new to try. This is a review of their preferred selection dark chocolate with sea salt. Not too chocolatey but had a Smokey finish. Would be a good accompaniment for pulled pork. With only 56% cocoa the Aldi sea salt chocolate with 76% cocoa is more chocolatey and a bit more salty without the smoked finish. read more

Great concept and have been here several times and have been happy until today out of 6 items 2 of them were not the price listed. Almost double!! The process is so fast you are so busy grabbing your items its hard to see the price being scanned. Great prices. I'm happy I have another alternative to Walmart. The employees are very helpful and knew where everything was. Donna at the register was awesome.
