However, what's worse than that is when you've had vegetables in the refrigerator that go bad a few days after purchasing them, that have to be thrown away before cooking them. I'm particularly fond of okra, green beans and broccoli. The most expensive vegetable is the one that has to be discarded because it went bad too fast prior to cooking. That said, Sprouts has the Best vegetables of any grocery store I've shopped at in 20 years. Amazingly all the vegetables taste wonderful and fresh as they should. Example: I purchased some peaches at Sprouts 2 days ago and enjoyed one last night and again a few minutes ago. Those peaches were absolutely delicious! Had I purchased them from a Publix, Kroger or Walmart, they'd have tasted somewhat like a peach and would have seem mushy and bland. Produce here is quality. I'm might seem more expensive, however for the taste, quality and freshness, to me it's a bargain.

(3/5/2018) We had just left a community meeting at the Woodstock Police Department with some of my fellow Woodstock neighbors and decided that we would all pop in to grab a few things since we were in the area. We started out checking out the BOGO bins and then worked our ways to the deli department. Then to the bakery. We were checking out some of the baked good when a woman (heavy set, brown hair, older woman) barked at us and said in a sharp voice "May I help you?" Which one of my neighbor answered "No. we're just looking." The employee didn't say anything and just walked off..... I don't know if she was insinuating that we were up to something no good or what but we weren't doing anything wrong. Just looking at some cup cakes and some peach pies..... the five of us are all grown people with college educations, home owners and one of them had a teenage kid. So for some grocery store employee talking down to us like we were teenagers giggling at a library is not only unprofessional but down right rude. I didn't have any other shopping to do so I just stood around the deli sub department while they were preparing for their day. I realize they have to chop a lot of vegetables put meats together for their subs, etc. so I didn't really want to rush them, but I also wanted to be nearby and grab my sub as soon as was ready. Hazar saw me standing there when she was preparing to do the online orders that came in and asked me my name. She then found my order and proceeded to make it while I was standing there. I appreciate that because I had somewhere to be I did not expect it, however. That's just a sign of someone at their job who pays attention to what's around them and execute their role well. I arrived at approximately 6:45 p.m. and called the store because I was unfamiliar with the curbside pickup process and wanted to make sure I was parked in the correct location. After explaining exactly where I was parked, the customer service representative assured me I was in the correct spot and told me someone would be outside shortly with my groceries. After waiting more than 10 minutes, no one arrived. I called the store a second time and was then informed that I had been parked in the wrong location the entire time. The delay was caused solely by the inaccurate information provided by your employee. When an employee finally came outside, the situation escalated unnecessarily. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, I was treated with aggression, disrespect, and hostility. I was threatened with having the police called on me even though I was simply trying to receive the groceries I had already paid for. The employee handled my groceries in a careless and reckless manner by throwing them into my vehicle. Their actions appeared to show a complete disregard for my property, attempted to damage my vehicle through their reckless conduct. No customer should ever be treated in such an intimidating and disrespectful manner. What should have been a simple curbside pickup became a hostile and humiliating experience because of your employees' conduct. As a first-time customer, I was shocked by the lack of professionalism, the poor communication, and the unacceptable treatment I received. Please do not patronize this location especially if you are African American.
