I have complained several times and nobody cares anymore. This Publix has the dirtiest shelves. Just look as the spice aisle. They have not cleaned it in over 6 yrs. There is a piece of paper stuck in one of the shelves for 6yrs. There is broken spice debris and dirt and grime from the oil in certain spices. Touching the bottles is a guessing game if they are clean. The produce section is a joke. Constantly reaching for a piece of fruit that is not rotten is difficult. I have complained to every employee and manager if the produce is rotten then don't put it in the shelf. They just ignore it. Publix used to take pride in their store. This Publix has gone to absolute trash since the change in management. Low stock, extremely poor quality produce, and front end woefully understaffed. I have been a customer here for years, and the last few times I have been here, it's become unacceptable. Unfortunately, this location seems to have fallen victim to the Publix management carousel, where competent management is transferred out to new stores and is replaced with inexperience. This is yet another example of why I do less and less of my grocery shopping at Publix. Should have run the second the self checkout showed up. If they want to bring me a Kroger or Walmart level experience, I'll just go to Kroger or Walmart and pay their prices instead. read more

ALWAYS NICE. Fresh produce and very good meat. However, their employees are superb. I was try to find an item using the Publix app on my phone and the space for it in the aisle was empty. I went to the customer service desk and asked for help. The young, tall blonde headed gentleman went WAY, WAY out of his way to help me, found the item and loaded it in my cart!! You think this would happen at any other grocery chain store? No!! Only at Publix. Their other stores are exactly the same way!! You may pay more here than other chains, but it is WORTH IT!! I use to come to this Publix for years and years when I lived on Town Lake Parkway. Now I've moved further out into the boondocks...I recently came by to run an errand and decided to pop in for a few diddys and soup for lunch. This Publix is located on the corner of Rose Creek Dr and Town Lake Parkway inside the Rose creek Shopping Center. Renasant Bank sits in front of it. Across there is a Rite Aid. Inside the shopping center itself there is Cancun Mexican Grill, Elite Nails and Family Traditions. There is a State Farm next door and inside the store there is a Sun trust Bank. The Rose Creek Library is across the street as well as Hillside Methodist Church. If you ever need to get on Eagle drive just make a left when you get out of Publix and go a mile up. You'll end up on Eagle Drive by Aldi. (Sometimes Town Lake Parkway is a complete nightmare to navigate...as we all know) The layout of this particular Publix is similar to that of older store where the produce is on the left side and the bakery is on the right. One of the things I've notice with this particular Publix is that most of the shoppers that come in are regulars. They live in the neighborhood so you can hear many of the sales associates calling customers by their first names which gives it a nice small town feeling....Nevertheless I prefer Publix over Kroger only because they seem to go out of their way to treat customers like royalty...i.e. there are no self-check out lines...when I came in to buy soup...the nice cashier Joanne K. double bagged it and tied both bags in a secure knot...it's these little attention to details that make them far superior to their competitors. Publix on town lake has the worst service & employees ive ever seen in a store. They are rude and unhelpful. I stood in self checkout for almost 5 minutes after requesting assistance on the screen for an item I accidentally scanned twice. There were multiple employees just standing around STARING AT ME and did not come to assist. The seemingly only nice employee came all the way from the back to assist me. Clearly this company doesn't seem to think their black customers deserve to be treated fairly. read more

This is one of the cleanest and most organized Publixes I have been to. The staff was waiting to help me at every turn, but I'm so familiar with the store's models that I often had to decline their offers. I had a sub from the deli for lunch, and as always it didn't disappoint. The lady that made it for me was also very friendly and meticulously assembled the order. Great job! read more

This Publix has the best workers. Some stand out more than others and go beyond to help you. There is a sweet lady at the subs and chicken who always make us feel welcomed. Her name is Jammie. She is the sweetest most caring person i have known there. If i need the chicken to be cooked longer or the wings to have a little extra zing, she is always doing that for me. I have had several other people not as nice and not as caring while there. One is a manager i think Chris is his name and the other is a pregnant employee who i have said excuse me and they both walk away without even stopping to see if i need something. I prefer to go to Publix than any other grocery store for their cleanliness, their exceptional customer service and the quality of meat. I'm hoping someone was just having a bad day the particular day we visited. An employee at this location was cooking an Apron recipe so of course, my children and I went over to check it out. Immediately the employee was rude and tried to make excuses "it's too spicy, it's too hot" when we showed interest in sampling. The other folks who also wanted samples were treated fine. She made us feel so uncomfortable that my children did not want any because they felt she did not want to give them a sample. We will most likely not return to this location. read more

If you want to wait in 30 mins for a sub, then this is the place for you. I have never seen humans move so slowly and when I ask a manager why it takes 10 mins to make one sandwich, I was met with rudeness. I know several executives that will not eat subs at Publix anymore simply b/c of the slow service. Publix failed at Process, management, People, Communication, the only reason ppl come back for the Publix sub is bc Product, its a good sandwich, but other then that its ridiculous the amount of time and service you get. I think that Publix has the best customer service anyone could ever hope for. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. So I saw some halibut and thought to myself COOL, we a re trying to eat healthy and here's some fresh fish that's not salmon. Yeah. But, their prices especially in the meat and seafood are way over priced. Not knowing market prices for seafood and being more concerned about how it taste and to cook it. I wasn't paying attention to the cost I thought he said 15.00 a lb. It ended up being 15.00 an oz. Needless to say once I got home my hubby was not to happy with me. Seeing how I just spent 44.00 on 3 small pieces of halibut. So hubby calls Krogrer to find out their price for halibut 15.99 a lb. Boy that's a lot better than 44.00. Alas my hubby who is none to happy with regarding the price has told that I must do all major shopping at Krogrer now. because of the over pricing. I can only agree that was way to high. read more

This is a great store. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We don't buy all our groceries here since they're a little pricey. In fact, we usually use Publix to supplement for what we can't get at Aldi. Publix is always clean and well stocked. Great produce quality and selection. Been living here in Woodstock since 1996 and shopped at this Publix because it was the only market in the are at that time. Say to admit, but when Kroger opened I defected to Kroger. The other day I had to go into Publix again and I've got to say I really miss it. They have a much better selection than Kroger and the isles are easier to navigate. This is a nice little Publix that is a little off the beaten path in my opinion although everyone in the Towne Lake area knows all about it. This Publix lives up to their standard of excellent customer service and store cleanliness. Every time that I have been in there and needed to ask a question, the staff has been very helpful and the store itself is always spotless. The only problem with Publix...if you want to call it a problem is that there prices are usually a little higher than their competition, especially in the meat department although having said that....the quality of their meat is usually better than that of their competition so I guess you get what you pay for. I'm originally from Florida (where Publix was founded) and they are already legendary for their subs and they are just as good here in Georgia as they are down in their Florida stores. Their subs alone are worth going there although their deli section overall is probably superior to any other grocery store that you'll see around. read more
