If I had been the one to purchase the gift, this would have been completely fine. But since it was a gift to me, it looks as if I returned the persons gift and didn't want it. When I kindly asked for a store credit, 4 employees all told me that they couldn't do that and there was in fact nothing that they couldn't do. I was happy to make the return and get another item but was declined, and when I was frustrated with this, the staff rolled their eyes at me. I had only heard great things about this store, but after this experience, I'm feeling upset and just taken aback. For $31, they can make that exemption, given the gift receipt was given, the item was fully tagged up, and the intentions were good. Unhappy that this is my first negative review I'm writing.
