If you've ever suffered from chronic severe plantar fasciitis you know the hopelessness, frustration, despair, and chronic pain that greets every day. At one point I honestly was just feeling like please amputate my foot and just be done with this! When your mobility is effected, it has a domino effect on so many other areas of our life. For example with that kind of pain constant, I was no longer able to go to the gym. So then My stress level started increasing because I couldn't burn it off sweating it out. Then I started eating more food because I got stressed. Which made me put on more weight. Which made me more depressed. Which caused more pain on my planter fasciitis because I was carrying more weight on it and putting more pressure on the heel. Then I started getting more irritable. And my relationships started to suffer. I was not able to participate in recreational activities or even take a nice hike in nature. Which started to effect my sleep patterns. Well, I am in pain and a mistake is not what I want to hear right now when I know I was specific. I work in the medical field as well so I know the importance of making sure I see a participating provider. I was told I can "JUST PAY" That was not the answer I needed. She then made a face at me and asked if I wanted to speak w/ the office manager.. sure I said... Well HELLO it's me Sara.. lol Really. If this is who they wish to represent them well I am glad I left. She is a not cut out for any position in healthcare.
