Dr Friedman spent considerable time working on the toenails on each foot. She explained everything that she was doing and continually checked in with me to make sure that I was doing alright. Although my feet were sore when I left the office, I woke up the next morning pain free. I had my follow up appointment with Dr Friedman today and she was again attentive to all of my questions and thoroughly examined my feet for evidence of the ingrown toenails (there was none). We discussed what I could do to prevent reoccurrence of the problem. Dr Friedman offered specific suggestions including the type of footwear I should wear and fitting me for new custom orthotics for my feet (my current orthotics are a year old and ready to be replaced). Dr Friedman is professional, patient, caring and skilled at treating her patients. The office staff on both visits were welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable about insurance coverage. I worked in the medical field as an RN for years. If a doctor was delayed we would let the patients know and ask if they wanted to wait or reschedule. It was the patient option. Would give negative stars if I could. Been going here for…read morethe last 10 months because of excruciating foot pain. For 10 months they tried shots and steroids, and wanted me to try orthotics and shockwave therapy. I agreed to the orthotics because everything else hadn't worked (after wasting time and money going to appointments telling me to come back on two weeks if ____ didn't work). Had a few days where my pain shot up from a 9 to a 15 on the pain scale while waiting for my orthotics and decided to go to a different office. Immediately my new doctor recommended I get an MRI because he was worried I had a tear in my plantar fascia and that my problem was NOT just heel spurs like Dr. Siegel and Berlin had seen on my x-ray. Sure enough, I had a partial tear and after 4 weeks in a walking boot and in PT, I am PAIN FREE!!! All that time and money wasted when they could have sent me for an MRI from the start!! Besides that, the billing/scheduling department here is HORRENDOUS!!!! They are constantly "losing" payments (thank god for bank statements!!) and I've had to cancel the same appointment numerous times because they never cancelled it when I first called!! Also, the older blonde woman in the office is the WORST human on the face of the planet. She has no compassion for people and looks down her nose at patients. She thinks her shit doesn't stink for whatever reason and isn't willing to help with any situation, just leaves it for the poor kids behind the desk. 10 out of 10 do NOT recommend this place. I trusted these doctors to help me, and instead they saw me as an easy meal ticket.
